I think they can be kind of fun for more story-heavy, cinematic games where you might want to get a feel for the story without any filter. But seriously...look at Chugga's LP of Skyward Sword, and imagine that with no editing, and no commentary. That can also be a longplay.

Since the Game Boy was monochrome, it obviously couldn't show proper colors, and as such would've given off the illusion that his hat was his hair and vice-versa! This was honestly what taught me that if you're fighting a boss where they're moving around launching projectiles, the best way to fight them would actually be to focus on avoiding the projectiles and just spam the shoot button in hopes that you hit them

They're a mix of both, really, @@happyguy0105. Jiang shi feed by draining qi, making them similar to vampires, yet are reanimated corpses, like zombies.
Other examples of Jiang-Shi (or Kyonshi, as the Japanese seem to call them) are the secret boss in Castlevania Order of Ecclesia, Munak and her palette swaps in Ragnarok Online, the zombies the Tao family used in Shaman King, and Miyako from Touhou Project. There's also a Jiang Shi hat in Splatoon, Mei from Overwatch and Rufus from Street Fighter IV had Jiang Shi costumes, and a type of Heartless in the Mulan area of Kingdom Hearts 2 was based on them. Everything in the game is accessible in some manner, whether by invisible blocks, lifts, or expert platforming. However, it is not possible to get everything in a single run, due to many extras splitting off from a main path. Also mario is wearing a hat. It's just small and blends in with his hair. The extension over his face is the lip, since he was originally designed with a cap (like a baseball cap) instead of his iconic M hat. Source: I grew up playing this game, and got so into it once that I bothered to beat it multiple times during a long car ride with family and along the way I learned many things about it.

This has to be one of my favorite April Fools' jokes this year. A total meme to do this game when you're nearing the end of Triple Deluxe, but also 100% genuine and unironic, giving the same quality he usually does. I love this, it's the best of both worlds.

This has to be hands down my favorite video from Chugga. This game is amazing and finally someone has played it on UA-cam. I still have my Nintendo Game Boy cartridge and immediately noticed the subtle differences in graphics.

I dont think the spin off and longest lets play are the same one, Chugga said he was about 80 percent done on the preparations for the long one and considering Xenoblade was 119 episodes, that last 20 percent may still take a bit

Those hopping “zombies” are actually vampires based on the Jiang-Shi, a Chinese Vampire, it’s the same creature than Hsien-Ko is based on
Jiang-shi (殭屍, "stiff + deadbodies") are more close to zombies afaik, while Xi-xue-gui (吸血鬼, "suck + blood + ghost") are the vampires
@@happyguy0105 It's always so facinating that Japanese and Chinese, where the latter one is the original, have so many differenses, even if they have the same "symbols" e.g. Xi-xue-gui(吸血鬼) is Kyu-ketsu-ki in Japanese
They're a mix of both, really, @@happyguy0105. Jiang shi feed by draining qi, making them similar to vampires, yet are reanimated corpses, like zombies.
Other examples of Jiang-Shi (or Kyonshi, as the Japanese seem to call them) are the secret boss in Castlevania Order of Ecclesia, Munak and her palette swaps in Ragnarok Online, the zombies the Tao family used in Shaman King, and Miyako from Touhou Project. There's also a Jiang Shi hat in Splatoon, Mei from Overwatch and Rufus from Street Fighter IV had Jiang Shi costumes, and a type of Heartless in the Mulan area of Kingdom Hearts 2 was based on them.
They were actually really popular in kung fu movies to the point they almost made their own sub-genre. There's quite a few of them that are about taoist priests having to face off against rampaging Jiang Shi using martial arts. I've watched some of them, and just like with most kung fu movies, they're actually really entertaining drinking night flicks.
And Chaozu from Dragon Ball. Not as pronounced as Hsien-Ko, though.

Everything in the game is accessible in some manner, whether by invisible blocks, lifts, or expert platforming. However, it is not possible to get everything in a single run, due to many extras splitting off from a main path. Also mario is wearing a hat. It's just small and blends in with his hair. The extension over his face is the lip, since he was originally designed with a cap (like a baseball cap) instead of his iconic M hat.
Source: I grew up playing this game, and got so into it once that I bothered to beat it multiple times during a long car ride with family and along the way I learned many things about it.
