The best transcriptions on UA-cam with the split screen. perfect for me as a intermediate guitar player who can read music. I find it frustrating on other tutorials where they need talk thru every note. Great videos!

@@KavenGirouard I personally own a 2018 Fender Strat. It sounds great, though it still needs to mature a little! And get a few extra years on the clock! (Will be putting Fender CS 1969 pickups in it very soon, for that glassy clean tone, and high volume output)

I’ve been watching covers of this song on UA-cam since 2006, because I had a video of my cover on here since I first joined in 2006. I took down all my videos after being ridiculed and accused of faking because everyone said I sped it up. All this to say that I look up Scuttle Buttin’ covers on here every once in a while and your video is the ONLY one I have ever seen that nails the timing and the notes exactly. I also like how you bend the notes in the main riff, to my ears, that’s how Stevie played it on the album version. The live versions never lived up to the album version in my opinion. Great, great job on this man. Really perfect. And thank you for your generosity in sharing this with everyone. 👍

For the three measures of the slide lick over the A7 chord do you just down pick it or do you alternate where 3 / 5 on b string and 0 on e string are both down picked and then next time both up strokes?
I alternate! Way easier I think...
