I remember the very first time I saw Watain was in 2008 at a warehouse show in Oakland. The smell was unbearable but electrifying at the same time. And when the flames came on, it intensified the smell of the flesh (since it was technically being cooked 💀) they got away with some stuff on that tour as they were not as big in the USA yet.
