Definitely check out the tanks and stores featured in the massive Australia Playlist if you haven't already: ua-cam.com/play/PLYL8_q9jP9dpOxkVH23SO49xtImkK8ZYJ.html
Installed these on my Aquarium about a month ago after seeing them at Reefstock 2018 and so far I am impressed with the simplicity of the app and value to quality ratio. Sps growth has been noticeable as well as color mixing. Schedule ramp up and ramp down is very smooth. Long term review will come after I’ve hade them for 6 months or longer
Although a sponsored video, it's definitely a relief to see a non fanboi ecotech paid video that is on every reefing channel. I'm not a fan of ecotech in Australia because of the bad or non existent after sales service. If you have a problem with an ecotech product in Australia, you might as well throw it in the bin because the distributor doesn't care. This is probably why coral farms in Australia don't use ecotech or Ai. At least with illumagic, you get a better product and the expected after sales service from a high end product. I'll definitely be considering an illumagic for my next tank upgrade.
Jake, regardless if you're reading from a prompt the lights look very nice and provide the necessary growth needed for different types of corals....Darren
So I'm in the process of looking for a new LED light. I want the best color on the market. The Radians just look like crap to me. The nanobox is good but weak par. Hurry and get to the market, as I'm very interested in one of these fixtures.
Are you ever going to upload the video from Jason fox and Sanjay Joshi? I presume you're still editing but wanted to make sure it wasn't cancelled lol looking forward to those two. Wish Illumagic would send me a fixture to test/ review on my newest tank
Tony Beck I think anything can be controlled by any controller. Unless (for example) your wave makers don't have a controller. The power of the current cannot be changed.
Hello Tony, all our lights can be controlled by our own built-in WiFi or Bluetooth control system for now. For third party controllers, we may try to figure out the way they control the lights and see if we can simply modify our system to fit theirs.
I have illumagic x mini and I like the choice of LED. The real downside is the use of three channels. They white channel consists of cool white warm white, red and green. The green is so overpower and I have problem adjusting the color spectrum that I want. I also have AI prime and ocean revive and of all these lights I like the oceanrevive best. My zoas color up a lot under the oceanrevive.
Pretty sure these are not targeted to US buyers. Most of these Facebook is in another language. Do we have any prices in US dollars yet and US distributors?
Hello Brian, you can find more product information and tank shares on our Facebook page: facebook.com/IllumagicOpto/ Although many of the posts are written in Chinese, but we still have some of them written in English. We will try to have all the posts written in English from now on. And we still do not have any US distributors at this moment and we look forward to finding one soon after MACNA this year.
I love all the videos, They should have sent you the fixture and you walked us through the pros and cons and provide non bias review of the product, this is more of scripted video and not coming from you
Hello QuarterBach. Our lights are definitely not the most expensive lights in the market. They are more expensive than most other competitors because of the technology we have used in the products. There are still nice and quality products made in Taiwan or other Asian countries. As Jake has mentioned in the video, we have been in this industry for 8 years, longer than many of our competitors in this industry. We are not those manufacturers that simply copy other's ideas and try to make the product cheaper. We respect our rivals like Ecotech Marine, AquaIllumination, Maxspect, and Kessil.....etc since they all provide innovative products to the markets to fit various demands of the hobbyists. We are just like them but were known as an Asian manufactuer of poor awareness in this industry, but it does not mean our lights do not deserve that price, unless you think you are buying a product because of its fame instead of what it has inside.
Reading a script is common. What isn't is showing us that you're reading a script. You could have done all footage with quick cut ins of your face when not eyeballing the script. I couldn't finish it. Sorry bub, I usually like your vids. Denver guy here

Did Illumagic give you the script you kept reading off of?
No one has EVER told me what to say.
Can literally see you reading a script
Maybe he wrote it...? like he probably does with many videos...
Reef Builders your not married?

Jake stop reading a script! Speak from the heart with bullet points
I'll try that next time, I'm still new to making videos regularly so I'll try that route next time I have more to say than I can remember.
What an awesome opportunity to visit Australia. Lights look legit.
Wow, that coral farm had some of the most colorful corals I have ever seen. These lights are amazing.
Hey Jake! What are the best and cheapest controllers and chillers? Thanks
When will these be available in the UK?
Australia is fkn beautiful
It doesn't seem possible to get these in the UK which is a real shame.
No information on SB Reef lights
Where can you buy?
Hi, where could i buy a fixture from Illumagic led as a european customer? Awesome looking SPS and Fixtures
Jake, regardless if you're reading from a prompt the lights look very nice and provide the necessary growth needed for different types of corals....Darren
These lights seem real nice. Any distubitors in Europe?

Any luck with distributors in the USA?

Jeezus how much did this company pay you ??? To do this video
They seem very cool. Are they controllable by third party controllers (ie Apex or Profilux)?

Couldn't even make it through half of this scripted video. Sounded like too much of an ad.
Pricing?
it varies so much by continent, and there aren't really any retail prices for US and EU (YET)
Reef Builders got it. Thanks
Good information good video

Get video Jake. It was good meeting you at MACNA.
More like "the most expensive lights you never heard of" xd

Seems like your reading from something and trying to sell a product. Be yourself and freestyle 👍🏼
for something from taywan im not gonna pay 800 dollars for a farm tank
I wonder how much they gave you for this video
You give me a coral or anemone cuttina please and send it to me
Oh cmon, this video is so unconvincing
Why are you reading a script?!?! Sounds so fake
