yeah but its not your world its the other Ekkos world, so not only are you killing everyone in your timeline but you essentially killing their Ekko and the life he built. Ekko dont roll like that haha
Lmao same but giving it a little thought, it'd be wild to stay there. It's cool, paradise on earth but the tragedy of Ekko's character is that he's built by the tragedies that made this alternative reality impossible, so, despite his raw feelings and nostalgia, he'd never fit in or really replace the alt-reality Ekko there - wouldn't belong there, and he knows it.

Powder has the crystals she stole from Jayce's lab. They are what killed vi, but since it was the last thing they did together, she perhaps sees them as a memento. She understood that the Ekko she spent time with and who gave her the gift was a different one. So she puts his gift in the drawer as another memento from someone who is gone.
@beyondviolet oh yeah, that makes sense. I sure hope she knows they are very volatile though... or she might know now, after having worked with the shards from Ekko.
I view the ending scene in ep7 as foreshadowing for powder experimenting with hextech after ekko leaves. There are a lot of small clues that make me think so. Vander says powder doesn't belong in a bar and also states that he has never seen powder so invested in a project before (ie interest in hextech and our version of ekko). With all the context clues left behind, she 100% knows that he is from an alternate universe. Plus she has motivations to try dimension hopping as she can see vi and our version of ekko she ended up falling in love with. It wouldn't be hard for her to replicate the z drive as most of the machinery in intact and ekkos notes are still in her lab. I don't see the ending scene as a trophy cabinet moment, rather an ominous message: powder will experiment with hextech and will possibly become jinx. Whether or not she decides to dimension hop, I 100% believe hextech will be reinvented in her universe.
@@donnykim9822 she has no reason to dimension hop, she doesn't know vi is alive in our ekko's universe (though she might suspect it later due to the mural). Powder was making it with Prime Ekko and Heimerdinger. She has that knowledge, but I agree she has found a bit of happiess. If her Dad, Vander, gives her the "you aren't living up to your potential speech" she will go see Vi again. She will have the bitter-sweet reminder of her time with a different version of Ekko. And how that world was worse. She could use the stones that killed her sister and F'd up another world, or be a bartender running the place with Ekko...
Anyone else here thinking that the whole arcane shit will happen in that universe because of powder. I mean its just her character to jinx a perfect scenario. I feel like that last frame where they showed Vi's altar, Arcane Shards, and Firelight Ekko's Gift symbolizes her getting the idea to bring back Vi through hextech.

Pretty sure they are from their break in to the apartment, and she keeps them as a memento. The drawer says vi but she puts the necklace gift from our ekko in there as well, because she got what was happening and knows that she won't see the ekko who gave her that again.
I think Powder kept the crystals as a memento because that was the last job she did with Vi, but even if she does create hextech, I think it would be a lot more stable than what Jayce cooked up considering Jinx managed to make it herself for her weapons while being mentally unstable.
This was my favourite episode but one thing I wanna clarify. What did ekko mean when he said “can we pretend it’s our first time”? Did that just mean that they were already together in that timeline or is it something else that I missed?
So in his timeline he hates jinx and wants her death, for good reason btw , eventho season 2 seems to have forgotten she is a mass murdering psychopath he should still know. But Here he falls in love with her alternate version? Why? Were the hell did that even come from? This is bad fanfiction for weirdo's.
In season 1 its implied that ekko had a crush on powder since their childhood. What stopped him from hurting Jinx in the bridge fight was the hesitation he had because that love's reminiscence. He doesnt hate Jinx, but she is dangerous, and when he saw Powder in the alternative timeline he first impulse was to fight her off. Besides, who wouldn't fall in love for that version of Powder?
