He'd just returned from a long suspension for a flying double-footed lunch on an opponent. Bilbao were very defensive and parked the bus. It finished 0-0 and at the final whistle, I remember Bilbao players pumping fists, believing they had done the job. I always felt that we had a chance with this team however.

Wrong end of the country mate. We played Brazil in Seville which is in the south. Bilbao hosted England's group games in that World Cup.
