- Shopping the Meadowlands Flea Market! Always a good day for a treasure hunt... I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy!✌️😷
THANK YOU to everyone that has been checking out the BlueBusDave eBay! I am so grateful!💙
I always try to call my dad every day or every other day. He lives alone after my mom's passing. And especially after this past April where my uncle and my dad's next door neighbor found my dad still in bed unresponsive (2pm). The ambulance took him to the hospital, still unresponsive and laboured breathing, but responded to pain stimulation. He went through extensive tests to find out what was wrong with him, even after CT and MRI scans they still didn't know what was wrong. To start they thought it was a stroke, but the tests didn't show that. The gave him blood thinning meds and that they figured out that he had a blood clot in his heart and his brain wasn't getting enough oxygen. That is why he had the symptoms of a stroke. He was sent at once to the best hospital when it came to cardiology. They removed the blood clot, which turned out to be huge. After the surgery, They sent him back to the original hospital which is in the region of where he lives. He survived after about 2 weeks in the hospital he was discharged and he had no lasting effects. So now he takes a dinner plate full of meds, besides that he is ok. I have one thing to say about covid-19, if this didn't happen, my dad would be dead. This is because my uncle would have been on vacation in the Philippines and he wouldn't have found him in time. Soo.... covid-19 saved a life, my dad's. And another thing, there are no hospital bills, it was all free. This is due to the fact we live in Denmark.
So Dave I DO call my dad as often as possible.😊😊💕💜💕💜💕🇩🇰
I finally figured it out Dave. You have a charisma that appeals to both male and female vendors. Godspeed to you.

The Copper mesh is used to make copper scrubbers for pots ! Have some in my kitchen right now ! My husband uses them on his cast iron . They bunch it up to make scrunched scrubbers !
That wooden guy is marvelous... and the table ...the necklace... great hunt dear
Love the old figure
I live 2mi from the Meadowlands - I didn't know they still had the flea market! Cool jewelry!
The carved figure looks like a Town Crier holding a bell in its left hand and a proclamation in the right.
Such A Great Eye
Knowledge Beyond Your Years.......
You Rock🤘
Once Again
Lion seal press easily a $50 bill, also the wooden piece is from a Colonial Man Folk art Mid Century Modern lamp that seems to be Paul Revere, seems the lamp got damaged very badly and someone saved the wooden part.
Great video Dave, great finds, I liked the wooden figure, he has a town cryer look, the marble table is class and painting from the yard sale is really nice
Thanks Dave
Be safe and take care
Sam
01:28 That multi-color beaded piece is from Alaska. 08:12 Nice table. 18:29 Blackamoor pin - probably not PC these days, but it's a classic style. 20:45 Pin might be Miracle. 23:39 I bet it was something else made into a pin, or made to look that way. Run a black light over the yellow and amber necklace and see if anything lights up. I just tried it on a maybe amber necklace and no joy. Your necklace might be something good.
That was a fun trip!! Great deals on the garage sale jewelry!!! TFS .✌❤🙏
The helmet you picked up but passed on appears to be a helmet liner for a wwii helmet. The liner fit tight inside the metal helmet.
Wonderful finds.
Just watching this on Aug. 4th. Hope all went well with everyone in your area from the hurricane scare. I was worried about your beautirful garden and lovely family!!
The copper I think is ribbon... nice finds today!
Nice grab bag of jewelry!
Carving a Town Cryer...Pole with lanteran missing from right hand !!!
I really like the wierd lucite necklace as well. Best Finds...Headset and Necklace. 😁😎😁😎😁😎😁
Lol the guy that hacked at 10:50 😷
great pickings!
Copper mesh is for stuffing around pipes to keep mice (and in my case, bats) from crawling into house. But it also is great for home made chore not scrubbers.
Love the colonial dude...but what is it? Weather vane? Will be watching for those cuff links and hankies on sale. Great video
Gr8 find's Dave... Love the bronze and marble table also Love the carved colonial worm wood figure... It's an awesome piece from the 18th century... Stay safe...👍💕🔥😷🌎
Great finds today. As always, you are so polite.
More great finds!!!
Copper wire is good for repelling slugs if you put it round pots.
i always thought meadowlands was all dollar store junk. now i need to make the trip!
me too, 10-15 yrs ago it was all counterfeit designers stuff and lots of junks and also way too many food vendors, so iIstopped going...but now after this video...I have to go..
@@FOXYCECILIA lol I'll see you there!
good one Dave.
That Colonial piece is amazing! That copper mesh reminds me of Chore Boy kitchen scrubbers. You always seem to find the oddest stuff. Cheers!
Another great video. Thank you 🌻🌻
Your wooden figure looks like a town crier maybe ringing a bell?
Bingo!
I agree with you on that. A bell with a handle was on one hand and he would have been holding up a lantern in the other hand.
Chris-ABQ ...Really nice finds today....Good video! 😊
copper mesh most likely to cover gutters, years ago all gutters were made of sheet copper. my guess anyway. Nice find on carved colonial dude.
Fun finds! No link to your eBay, below. Gorgeous necklaces!
👍👍👍
I know I'm way late to the party, but the roll of mesh is for bow making(crafting)😊
“Got the Ray Bans case but no Ray Bans” I feel that lol
Nice table👍
That first table gave up some good pieces. Whatever can that copper sleeve be used for? The folk art man was a great piece. The painting, hankies, and the pins were really good stuff. But my favorite was the table, it was a beauty, love that.
“Kinda fun” take a shot 🥃
Was wondering if you bought the awesome chair at the yard sale.
Nice to see the market busy and everyone mostly wearing masks. Hopefully if we keep that up for a few months we can get over this pandemic sooner. Thanks for the video and stay safe and healthy ♥️♥️♥️😁
My guess on the copper mesh , scrubbier, to clean cookware.
Type in google ... draaiorgel figuur..... its in dutch then you see the wood figure
Maby....
✌🏻
Counterfeit got Shut down
👍🏻
How old is this? I thought this flea market was gone and replaced with a casino.
😎😎😎
Was that cast-iron punch for leather
Looks like a raised seal press for documents and the like.
There is one in a thrift store near me I need to go back and check it out
Yes it’s for a seal✌️
👍👍👍✌✌✌
So, a question from someone who has only seen the Meadowlands on TV...how much does parking cost if you’re going to a pro football game? Looks like it’s a long hike to the stadium from the parking area where the flea market sets up. Just curious. Thanks, B
Is the colonial folk art piece for sale?
