And I agree with many others on here….that leotard is clownish looking. And if she picked it out herself…she needs someone to explain taste to her nicely. I have a feeling she didn’t though. I’m not an expert on these things, but from watching gymnastics over the years, the European countries pick out their outfits for their teams. Not so big on letting the athletes express themselves through choosing their own outfits. The body shaming here is ridiculous. Her body is amazing, look at what it can do. All gymnasts are muscular. They lift their own body weight all the time. Im happy to see gymnasts no longer repressing puberty or being skeletal and childlike as they used to be. But I am fair. Russian gymnasts of today don't look like those of former years. They look more like women, not like children. And I know, that Russian Gymnastics is characterized by the gorgeous ballet tradition of Russia, and the style and the physics are more elegant. Eli Seitz is more athletic, but though makes "bella figura" at the floor. To call her a hippo is mean. As far as I know she has 57 kg.

But in the former Federal Republic of Germany there were indeed many - too many - single cases of doping, but no systematic doping organized by state authorities to produce human machines performing steadily all-time-highs in favour to raise the fame of socialism - as in former GDR and Soviet Union and until today in China. And, of course, doping in female gymnasts looks otherwise than that of female shot-putters. 😁That means, no anabolics, but substances to delay the beginning of puberty. Elisabeth Seitz doesn't look doped. She looks like a normal weight 30 year old woman and can be proud of belonging to the top of the world at the uneven parallel bars for so many years!

I have watched a lot of UA-cam videos of Men's Artistic Gymnastics. Not once have I seen a comment on 1) what any of those men were wearing or 2) their body habitus/weight.
This video's color, focus and angle are completely distorted. Look for a different one of Elizabeth Seitz on bars at Germany's 2024 gymnastics trials to see what she and the leotard actually look like. There's even a short on this channel that shows how badly this video was shot
Do you guys know how much power, strength and athleticism it takes to do this. She is in shape. There is no way she could do this otherwise. It’s the outfit that’s too small. You guys who are talking about her wish you could do this.
Not that long ago the Germans tried to make a point by all wearing leotards with long legs during an international championship. They didn't want people to look at them 'for the wrong reasons'. Then why are they suggesting so much nakedness with their outfits? Even the suits, with the legs covered, often have (suggested) open backs. And now this outfit... Freaking hypocrites. I don't care what people prefer to wear, and I think it's good that women can be fully covered if they wish so, but don't make big statements against nakedness in gymnastics and then wear things like this.

What is the purpose of such revealing leotards? Overly sexualized. Why aren't the men wearing revealing outfits? These leotards need to be rethought.
