At some point you have to stop and ask: "Just what is it that EV's are supposed to be saving us from?" There is one question that never gets asked that would expose the "climate crisis" for the scam that it is, which is "What percentage of the atmosphere is CO2?" The answer, never given in plain language, is that CO2 is currently around 420 parts per million, (google it) increased, they tell us, from 280 ppm in 1850. That's a difference of 140 ppm, or in terms more readily understood by the layman, the composition of the atmosphere has changed by 0.014% (14 thousandths of 1%) in the last 170 years. LESS THAN 1 THOUSANDTH OF 1% PER DECADE! How much closer to "zero" do they think it's possible to get? How gullible do you have to be to believe that this rate of change is causing extreme weather events, which have always happened and always will? Their claim is that this tiny amount "traps heat". ALL gasses dissipate heat and even if CO2 is an exception, the suggestion that a total of 0.042% can overwhelm the capacity of the remaining 99.958% to dissipate that heat is abject nonsense. CO2 DOES NOT control the global temperature, there is no "climate crisis". Wind farms, solar panels, heat pumps, EV's.. None of these measures are necessary, nor will they have the slightest effect on the weather. Eye-watering sums of money have already been wasted on this futile exercise. Time to wake up, stop throwing our money at these boondoggles and squandering the world's resources on projects that cannot possibly succeed as there never was a problem to begin with. There is no need to save the planet from a minuscule increase in the gas on which all life depends, but it does need to be rescued from idiot politicians and media mouthpieces that push this garbage.

Spot on mate! Well said. Carbon is the basis for all life on Earth; more C02 in the atmosphere (as we've had many, many times in past eons) would be beneficial to plants, animals, and humans. There is NO scientific evidence that C02 causes global warming, in fact it's the other way around: C02 levels rise AFTER temperature rises. It's not a cause, it's an effect; C02 no more causes temperatures to rise than wet streets cause rain!

Also several articles about 21 EV battery fires associated with Hurricane Ian in 2022. The state has warned us that saltwater and lithium ion batteries do not mix well and a fire can result. So, now along with all the other preps for a hurricane, EVs are supposed to be moved somewhere that will not flood and that is impossible to predict. Another concern is driving an EV on an evacuation route because they do not have charging stations! Thanks for all your hard work, love your channel.

The dangers of batteries being charged have long been known. For example, in the radio control hobby there are fire proof containers that are highly recommended for use while charging batteries.
There is risk even when not being charged. Commercial airlines prohibit batteries in checked baggage, after some tragic accidents were traced to lithium battery fires (if I recall correctly, laptop computers).

I have been a cop for 30 years and served as a fire marshal here in the United States for about 10 years, before retiring. I would say from that 4 second clip it is impossible to make a 100 percent decision on this matter. But to give you a quick education on tracing fires you always follow the least burnt to the most burnt area and then look for a heat source. The vehicle appears less burnt than the structure (Look at the top of the garage opening, may have been in the truss area of the roof and walked itself to the door opening, fire needs to breath). From this picture I would probably be looking inside the garage for a point of origin. Again, I would speak to the homeowner, witnesses, and look at any video. I would speak with fire personal and find out what they observed upon their arrival. There is a lot to investigating a fire. Now I hate EV cars and the fact that the government is pushing them on us. But I would have to agree with the investigator on this matter. It appears it started to the rear of the vehicle. But this is what I see in one picture. I would also like to add that the corruption isn't where the rubber meets the road (beat cops & fire fighters) 99% of the time. It is usually the officials that are nothing more than politicians pushing an agenda. Just my two cents on a picture and my own opinion.

I am NOT a fan of EVs as a volunteer firefighter and road crash rescue unit. My fire brigade is a bush brigade without BA or structure gear, but we respond to road crashes on the highway, and any fires of any origin.
Our half face respirator cartridges are toast after a normal ICE fire. There is NO way we are going anywhere near an EV fire if it happens on our patch.
It will be called in as HAZMAT, and all we will do is stay upwind and protect exposures if possible.
We are not equipped to handle EV fires beyond that

The Fire service and media all stated it started in a "Diesel Car". But video evidences shows a flamethrower (witnesses description) emanating form the left front of the vehicle. The vehicle in question was a landrover evoque, it was diesel, a hybrid diesel, where the lith batteries are front left, a vehicle involved in serial fires, all start in the front left. After the fire people found their EV's insurance rocketed over 60%, and despite already having policies some insurance companies refused to renew at any cost. The insurance companies worst hit are easily identified as their policies for ICE have also shot through the roof. Lots on you yoube check it out. Keep spreading the word on this.

Then look at the shadow of the garage just to the left of the girl in the green bikini, and the shadow of the car, which is just to her right, and the two shadows are in line. That car was INSIDE the garage without any doubt at all, so the claim that it wasn't in the garage has to cast doubt on the claim that it wasn't charging, and that the fire started at the back of the house. Something else to think about is that the house is only 150 metres from the fire station as the crow flies, and 300 metres from it by road, yet the house went from no sign of fire, as seen at 5:03, to blazing inferno, as seen at 1:41, in the time it took the firemen to get there.

He said that undermined everything he said and on that alone, he could not find him to be a creditable expert. The judge was brilliant and grilled the guy and during his questioning, even gave him the heads up and said " I asked what you found, not what your hypothesis is which you seem to have no factual evidence to base it on". Guy continued with his narrative and the Chief Justice just canned him big time.

Even if it was part out or all out if it caught on fire and set the house on fire - the matter of concern remains the safety of EV batteries - the average age of an EV is 1.5 years; the average age of other cars is 12 years. The real problem with EVs is one need do nothing to damage the car or do anything wrong.. the cells themselves can grow deposits called dendrites and those can initiate a fire in a lithium cell at any time.; even when the car has been "turned off" because EVs do not fully turn off they stay on partly.

You are thinking correctly about this EV danger , the closed in places where many people are, will be the really dangerous places to hang around or drive through soon with fire starting EVs parked or charging. One of the main electrical problems with EVs is the charge rate which is in the hundreds of amps. The fast movement of electrons creates lots of heat on any day. But in a very confined space like a battery is much more dangerous. I have a lovable nice muscle car, a 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo e/w a 454 big block engine, which I care for and baby some, lol.
I start it periodically and drive it some. Two years ago, I went to start it and the lead acid battery literally blow up into many pieces. It was not an old battery, and nothing was different that I was doing...than any other time that I started the car. There was a sudden fire ball, but that did not start a big fire , thank God, as I have other muscles cars in there too. I was not happy, there are some many pieces that I can't take the battery back for an exchange. The same but much smaller lithium battery is in your cell phone that you hold up next to your face and hair. These cell phones self-explode also, just because they can. Be warned and safe people.

There are discrepancies in the FENZ statements VS the video
1- I can say it did not start in the Garage
2- Car was parked outside the Garage at the time
3- It looks like the fire started at the rear of the property
    ….
The video evidence seems to completely contradict the FENZ statements
The fire in the video is burning Within and Limited to the Garage
The vehicles appear to be Inside the Garage.
    ….
Therefore, inference from the video would indicate the fire clearly started inside the Garage, where cars were located.
    …..
The reported property loss was 4.6m, which involved 2 structures.
Imagine what the insurance investigators thought after reviewing the damage and understanding the most likely cause was vehicle battery charging.
Eventually the insurance companies are no longer going to take this on the chin. They will have no other choice than to hold the vehicle manufacturers liable.
“If you know or have reason to know”
Further if the insurance company can prove deception on the part of the fire investigator (in this case FENZ), they could hold him/her liable as well.
    ….
As a Fire investigator, I would not put my fortune nor my future employment nor my reputation, in jeopardy for the sake of a Hegelian based, political ideal.

This reminds me of the fire which destroyed a cargo ship recently. An eye-witness - a crew member actually on the scene - said that the fire had started in one of the electric vehicles being transported.
EVangelists were 'Fully Outraged', and the various official sources were quick to dismiss his account. The witness was 'only' a lowly crewman and 'only' from India, and thus swarthy and unreliable and probably prone to panic under pressure and obviously not earning enough money to be capable of telling us the truth about what he saw.
Really? REALLY? Wow. Someone should tell those various official sources that this is 2023, not 1523.
His statement was replaced by much rhubarb and speculation from 'more reliable sources' [to wit: well-paid, cool-headed guys in suits who had English as a first language] who weren't actually on the scene but who were sure that lithium batteries could not possibly have had anything to do with starting the fire.
News was then largely hushed up with nothing but vague mumbling and harrumphing until the media had stopped asking, "Well what DID start it, then?" and Joe Public had forgotten all about lithium batteries.
Almost the same thing happened when the multi-storey car park in Luton [England] was burned down. Cue instant denial from official sources with absolute certainty that lithium battery technology was not to blame.
And now this horrible incident in New Zealand. If an ICE car had been involved I might have accepted that it was deliberate arson (to end a financially onerous leasing arrangement or to commit simple insurance fraud - it happens quite a lot here in the UK), but it seems highly suspicious to me that yet another fire potentially connected to lithium batteries should have the authorities falling over themselves to manage the media and blame anything but an EV [I include hybrid vehicles in the EV category].
My Elli-sense it tingling and it's telling me that there's an agenda involved here.

the only difference between this and luton fire in UK is that you got report for free. In UK fire department asked for like £150 which should have be free.
Everything else is the same, fire was extinguished and immediately after that fire man said it was diesel without a single investigation

    • @sunnybnk
      @sunnybnk 6 місяців тому

The Fire Chief at Luton said it was a diesel vehicle while the fire was still building. I find it hard to understand people who cannot see things for themselves but believe the garbage distributed by the MSM who in turn ask the government what to say.

You know Geoff, it's just occurred to me what the next big neighbour disputes will be about here in the UK; when more people wake up to the fire risk of EV's, who the hell is going to want to have a next door neighbour on one of our 'crammed in' housing estates charging up an EV only 3 feet away from our own house?

  • @midas61
    @midas61 5 місяців тому +1

The ariel picture clearly shows the way the wind is blowing. It therefore makes sense the fire could have started at the rear of the house as fire would have not spread toward the rear from the front, yet the rear is plainly on fire, so jury's out on this one for me.

It definitely looks like it very well could have been started by a car being charged up, there is for sure a car in the garage so why would the fire department say there was no car in the garage? Why would they lie line that when there are witnesses, and video something fishy going on here for sure.

They need to push the EV agenda so they will have even more control over the citizenry. Your range will be lower. It’s cost prohibited and they can shut the car and monitor it more throughly. This can’t happen if you have 20 year old cars or older on the road. They need you in a newer ice or all electric car or no car at all eventually

Exactly the same, word for word with the Luton airport car park fire, eye witness reports and video show a hybrid battery fire but Chief fire officer states from the scene on the day that whatever caused the fire it was not a battery, it was a diesel vehicle. making such a statement on the day of the fire is totally against normal protocol, it is also interesting that the DVLA record Land Rover sport mild hybrid vehicles as "Diesel powered" no mention of electric or hybrid. NO CCTV has been released and no follow up report in the press, NOTHING TO SEE HERE.
