I LOVE that dark single shadow on you. The entire look rocks. You also look great in ivory and those thin hoop earrings look flattering and fabulous as well. With my aging hooded eyes these days I pretty much have to go with a single shadow look. I often use creams, but I wish they did not crease.
Laura Mercier has their stick shadows called Caviar Sticks. They’re classy and lovely and easy to use. And once placed on the eyes ~ and you have enough time to spread them out with your fingers or brush ~ will set on your eyes and don’t crease. I have oily hooded lids and they’ve never creased on me. So if you haven’t tried them out, it maybe a great option for you. 😊
I absolutely love single eyeshadows, and the first Chanel & Dior ones are so oerfect for me! Oh btw, you were in my DREAM last night and we were shopping for perfumes! 🤣🤣🤣 (Also, I was thinking of decluttering Bewitching Yasmine, and you were trying to talk me out of it LOL.)
so great that I finally found a video to share the beautiful single eyeshadows, Chanel beige is my long time favorite because I do not know what other else single eyeshadows are good to try and laying is a hard job for me to learn . Thank you the beautiful lady
Great video I have Chanel single eyeshadows that you referenced. I had never tried the Chantechaille-so I ordered the giraffe and the Lion. Plus the copper one in the little pot seems to make it easy for travel. Thanks again for the great video.
@@MandyDavisMUA everything just came and I have to tell you my favorite is the giraffe by far. I love that eyeshadow I like the Cheetah I’m just not sure how to use it maybe as a halo and I do like the copper in the pot but by far the giraffe is stunning. Bummer about the sale. I missed it by a week. Oh well, thank you again. I would never have picked up the giraffe without seeing it on you. Literally my best purchase.
This one & done look is gorgeous on you! I'm surprised that a one & done could look so good. And the colors in the swatches you showed are stunning! Definitely going to investigate the Chalen Brun Talpa. Thanks for a great video!🤩💄💅
My favorite palette was the viseart theory palette in amethyst. What a great quality shadow. You did a great video on it a long time ago and I still refer to it.
Thanks! I just went to search for it, and it looks like it is only available on Ebay and used sites. I couldn't find it on the Laura Geller site. Is it discontinued?
The Giraffe looks stunning on you! Might be able to go pick it up at Nordstroms tomorrow. For now, going through my eyeshadows looking for something that can suffice for today to recreate this look. Came up with a few options from the Natasha denona glam palette! Excited to do my makeup as I’m heading to work shortly!
Hi dear Mandy, these look all so beautiful on you, wow, thanks for the beautiful video!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩I have some of the new Chanel single shadows, love them, also love to put the sort of pearly pink topper single shadow from them over it, over the Talpa, over the purple one as well! I have hazel/sort of khaki green eyes, i still love the Chantecaille single shadow they launched a few Christmasses ago in the gorgeous pearl packaging, it's a bit purple, a bit of a pearly shift, it's gorgeous! But also the one in the gold packaging, was that this Christmas or a year earlier, not sure, but have a back up, use this one so much, it's not orange, its not pink its not gold, its so beautiful! I also still kept some animal shadows i really use, the Cheetah, the Giraffe, the Lion, the Pangolin! Hourglass in Ray i also love! When the glitter/shimmer particles are not too big, i can handle it. I had a new palette from CT last autumn, and it was terrible for my 54 year sensitive eyes, Mandy, only loved the mattes from that 9 pan, it took me quite some flushing my eyes to get these glitter particles out. That's also why i stopped everything Pat McGrath etc. But there's more! And Chantecaille made a few years ago the Tiger in gorgeous emerald, it almost matched the green in PMG Mothership 2, i still had back than, and matches jewelry of my dear late mama. And i purchased 2 quads sorry not singles, from Bobbi Brown, was already in sale here in The Netherlands, Milkey Way, and forgot the other new one, almost Pat McGrath palette 7 effects, softer, and softer formula! And THE eyeshadow stick from Bobbi Brown for me than, Periwinkle! It was sold out so quickly, so when i saw a back up on Ebay, i purchased it, for me THE easy one and done eyeshadow of this year so far. This is getting to long, gonna stop, late here, wishing you a blessed and wonderful day, Mandy!!!😘😘😘😘
Chantecaille does amazing limited edition shadows. I love to see what they come up with in their collections. Sounds like you have some amazing options!
Mandy, that beige mitzah I see Everyone use. I Love pallettes, putting on my makeup is a happy time of day for me since I work 12 hour shifts at a trauma hospital but...I think I need the Dior❤ You're look is so Gorgeous today!😊
Thank you so much! I totally get it...the ritual of skincare and makeup can be very therapeutic. And Beige Mitzah is SO pretty!! Goes well with other shades too if you wanted to mix it with a palette. ❤️
Super video ……. I have been doing same re one and done, more because of sheer laziness….I continually grab Mac Cream paint pot, Taylor Grey (not too grey jmo), have some of what you just used and like as well. You and Abby are just the best, nicest people. Elaine xx
Beige Mitzah pulls very cool/silver on me. I was expecting more of a brown taupe, pretty disappointed with that one. I have a friend who actually returned hers after she purchased it because of me. 😳
Love one and done but my issue is choosing shades. Can you do a video on that please? I am neutral leaning warm..eyes bluish green..def not blue like yours with a gold ring..I try to use browns that are supposed to compliment my eye color and it never fails, someone will ask if I am tired or not feeling well!!! Help please
Love this video as I'm not a pallette fan. I also LOVE JI Siena and use it all the time in my crease - I will try it all over tomorrow. Can you tell me how the Chantecaille Copper is different that the Chantecaille Mustang & Lion?
I feel too done up with multiple shadow eye looks. With it being summer, I've been using bronzer 😂 Also, palettes aren't intimidating to me but there are so many unused colors...either the wrong color for my skin tone or too dark
U look beautiful, love this look . These are like my shades here and I am also in my one and done phase too 😂 never though i would be that person. I can tell u ur last pallet well quad YSL i think is ur pallet purchase. I have been eyeing a few of these Chanel, Dior and Chantecaille singles and a YSL single in a toupe color that is harder to find . I have been using a lot of my Chanel quads as one and dones I pick out a shade in them and use that and I have been doing a lot of matt neutral one and done.
I absolutely ADORE this line of glosses. They last forever on my lips. I have 10 of the shades. They are a bit thicker than other glosses, but I think that is what makes them last so long. Be sure and watch my video coming up on Monday. I swatch all of them, and there may or may not be a sale coming on them. 😉
This can be true for some people. However, there are definitely people who hate palettes of all kinds and simply don’t own any to pick a favorite color from. And singles are definitely easier to travel with. And when that fave color from a palette is done, it’s painful to have to buy the palette again just to have that same color again…or not ever use that fave color again if you don’t repurchase that palette. A lot of factors…
I personally don't have any powder ones in my collection, but I will be on the lookout for some. ❤️ I did feature some elf in my other one and done video.
Hi Mandy. Perfect one and done vid! I’m all over this, palettes no longer excite me, I do feel as if I’m wasting money because rarely do I love all shades in palette. I have Chanel beige suede mono, love, Chantecaille Sylvie and Copper are classic. Also the Chantecaille in Roan, the Mustangs. Will look into the Jane Iredale, looks so pretty. Have a blessed weekend. 😊
Colours are nice Question. . Is it better to see the shadow or the eyes ? Contrast and depth of colour to a person's eyes greatly affects this unless you want to look like a Goth.
Love this concept! It's what I gravitate towards due to lack of skill and lack of time.
It is definitely time saving!

Im in my 60s & shadows are getting harder to use but the Chantercaille is fantastic. So is their Future Skin foundation. Expensive but worth it.
I agree....100000% worth it!

Love them. Just started do single shadows.
I would strongly recommend Laura Geller Eye Rimz in Bewitching Bronze. Amazing all over colour that you can also apply with a wet brush.
Thanks! I just went to search for it, and it looks like it is only available on Ebay and used sites. I couldn't find it on the Laura Geller site. Is it discontinued?
