The 2nd best part of our holiday back in 2012, the Top of be list being my now husband proposing the me the day before we did this hike. Totally scratched up my engagement ring climbing this but we loved every minute of it. Got some beautiful photos of together down in the valley by the ruins of the old house. Thank you for filming this. Brings back great memories, even if they are stomach churning at times haha.
Uau! Really cool that last stunt at the end! I've never seen anyone doing that there! Thumbs up for the courage! When you went there have they already started the restoration process?
If you have not done it already you need to do the plank walk on mt Huashan in China. Similar thing but 2km up and on planks of wood that are bolted to the mountain. I did a video of it when I was there last year.
Miguel, hace años escribiste este mensaje, pero si ves ahora esta respuesta: tengo tu libro, pero sería bueno tenerte por Málaga dando una de tus clases! Un abrazo!
great video. I'm planning to head there in December but I wanna get a few more details before I go. do you need your own rope at any point? because I saw on another video they had to use rope for the first section of the hike to get to the trail.
WIsh I had done this back when you did it! Since the Caminito has been made safe and easy, can you suggest any other un-renovated hikes that have similar thrill factor?
Man you are strong hearted. Watching you carefully take your steps on those death rails, makes me wanna slump from my seat. I love adventure, but not this! I give it to you!
hey i am in malaga 16th of may and i heard the path is closed at the moment due to repairs but don´t know if true or not. do you know anything about it?
Brave! I would never do anything like that. El caminito has been refurbished since then, and now anybody can walk it without risking by their lives or their dog's life. The background music is un+listenable at least to my own taste.. I would recommend something calmer, or perhaps some Spanish theme?
Damn good video, I've seen others over the years on this lethal pathway, it's a pity it's all fixed up and safe now. I'll be linking this one on my own webisite
Eh yea. Someone didn't show you how to use snapgate karabiners. Always clip the gate of the karabiner facing 180 degrees to each other. That way if you slip and spin when you fall, both karabiners won't twist too and undo themselves. At least one won't. Countless people have died from this very mistake. Saves having a rescue organisation dragging your ass out at the very least.
Great video. I was going to do something like this in HUaraz, Peru. But i decided against it because I didnt have any other friends interested. Have you heard of the hike up there? *****
I was so anxious watching this. I think I blacked out a few times.
Flip-flops are really the best kind of shoes to wear on caminito del rey! ;-)
Wait are you being serious or sarcastic? And if serious why is that? I've never done anything like this
