stock rims... but a Vtec engine. That is interesting since it's hard to find good performance tires to fit those tiny rims. Gorgeous car. I love that 'Made in Japan' sticker near the radiator. NIce work, brother.
At least this is a video about a real avanguard good car without an awful music in it and without an awful vision and attitude all about it. Thanks for that Mr !
Yes, CA legal swap. All components from the 95 Acura Integra GS-R including the ECU and CAT, etc. etc. etc. are swapped over. This CRX gets smogged as a 95 Integra GS-R. The technician at the B.A.R. allowed the JDM version (higher compression) in this swap because legally it is almost exactly the same as the USDM version.
If you don’t mind - could you give a break down on the restoration cost - I missed out on a crx back in the day - now I am looking for a fun project car to restore
That's not a JDM engine no JDM Honda engine came with a casting that ended in a number they all end with a letter and are 4 digits the American spec engines end with a number and are 5 digit casting thats an American spec
Man do you see the background this is the type of guy that bought to gain experience about the crx unfortunately these cars are too nice to be daily driven so guess what they do take up space (experience im living rn)
Thank you all for the comments and questions. I sold this CRX in Sept. 2020.
how much was it sold for
Would like to know what something like this sold for to compare with other crx. Would that be possible?
@@ashhketchumm I'd guess around $5000-$8000 USD, in Canada I bet it would go for $10,000.
@@Teknakill These go for $30,000 easy here in the U.S.
Still looks good after thirty years. What a timeless design!

This black paint is awesome. Great CRX :)
Sure is, thats one polished car, looks flawless, damn wish mine looked like that, black is so aweful to keep looking nice
So shiny you can't tell the color (almost, but you get the point). Real nice.
Super clean CRX, but too bad it isn’t a si. I see you made it a replica thought, everything but the sunroof. Still clean!
Dx was lighter tough
Cool🤝💯👍💪🔥
Imagine if I could afford this now. how happy I would be...
keep watching videos.
Can someone explain what the lsd transmission is and what its pros and cons and why ppl like it so much?
Looks like the same one from Greddy. Wonder if this is the one he bought.
Yes. He is the new owner of this CRX. 😎
Want!!! Very, very nice. Well done man.
Wish there was more videos of this car 😔
Screw the Delorian, this IS the coolest time machine!
This crx is so clean. Would have loved to get an opportunity to buy
EXCELLENT
What did u sell it for ? In the market for one and would like to know ballpark market price
Mines was bar’d back in 2014 with a jdm gsr! My crx is an 88Si model
Mines had the factory lsd also but I put an LS 5th
So this has an engine swapped done i assume. How was the process to get it CA BAR'd? What emission components were transferred

badass.
To get the a/c to work with the swap, did you have to use the GSR ac compressor or the original d series compressor?
Sorry, but I do not recall
So this is a non-SI correct?
👍
Correct, non-Si, it is a DX chassis with complete custom loomed DX/Si harness and JDM B18C1 P73 components.
Realy nice car. I wish you would have said more on getting it to pass CA BAR.
Best one I've seen yet
nice crx..but...the idlle speed is to low,..noise with window down..etc. How fast is that goin´? Are you afraid of high RPM?:-))
Just taking it easy on the streets y'all. 👍
Such a nice rex man🙌🏽

How much was it sold for
How much was this sold for?
Sweet
how much something like this goes for
So clean. Very nice. How much did it sell for ?
What is the technical name and code for that black paint....I want to see If I was right..... thanks in advance beautiful car 🔰🔰👏👍🏾💯🔥🏎️
The paint is pure, pitch black. We used a PPG BMW paint code. No metallic or flake or sparkle.
Out of curiosity, is that a B16 head?
No, standard B18C1 head. Code on head matches code on ECU for CA BAR rules.
does it have power steering as well?
It does not.
Sheesh
whats with the wonky ass number stamp job on the engine lmao looks dodgey
