You always have 4 skips at the start, if you defeated the first boss on previous challenge and upgraded fourth neuron network. If you fight all 3 mobs at the start you just lost 3 and you have 1 left. Also, you can’t use it against boss.
@@Bobthesteleton I actually not sure what do you mean. But, If you defeat the first boss in the first plane, you'll gain 4 skips buff that carries over to your next playthrough. This buff won't be lost by switching dice or playing on a different day.

Bro, I have a question, that how can you know the skips in some random run?
Just count how many enemies you have defeated. 1st stage always has 3 enemies, therefore if you beat all 3, you're down to only 1 skip.
