The smile on his face makes me so happy. Imagine, a bunch of people who may not have even been alive to hear you when you first released the song, singin along perfectly. This moment is just, I dunno, magical?
It wasn't the perfect ending, but I'll be damned if this wasn't one of the most magical seasons ever.
This gives me goosebumps and I'm not even from New York. This is just another reason why I love this guy and why he's my favorite person. Not only is he extremely talented, but he's just one of the nicest guys in the entire music industry. Him smiling like a little kid made me smile I love how Kevin James is sitting next to him singing too, he's great. There are so many artists I can think of that would've just sat there looking stuck up. But Billy gets up, smiles, and sings along with the crowd. Today was my birthday and my birthday present was tickets to his concert which I went to last week. He's just so amazing, I had to come watch this video again. You're the best Billy Joel! :)

Long time Met fan from LI & while I moved off the Island in 07, the Mets are still my team. Visited the year Citi Field opened and fell in love instantly. Of course being a Long Islander, I love Billy. You had my favorite team's fans, in my favorite stadium, during the World Series, singing my favorite Billy Joel song with Billy joining in and the Mets dominated that game. Might be my favorite moment ever in a baseball game.
You don't see this in NFL or NBA or NHL, This why Americans love baseball

As a diehard Mets fan, this brings me to tears. If you live on Long Island, you know that "Piano Man" is normally played about 50 times a day on the local radio stations, and it's gotten to a point that I'm really just sick of the song. But seeing a packed Citi Field, Kevin James, Jerry Seinfeld, Billy himself and people of all ages in Met fandom singing together is really something else. It really embodies what being a New Yorker and being a Met fan is all about. Fantastic moment, thank you 2015 New York Mets

Not a giant Billy Joel enthusiastic, but imagine, your in your 60s watching a ball game and a song you wrote in your 20s plays over loudspeaker. Then 40,000 ppl break out singing the lyrics. It would bring me to tears if I we're him.
Also amazing considering this song doesn't mean as much to him - based on things he saw working at a bar, and that's it, no intended symbolism/bigger message.
And besides playing that anytime will make you forget about life for a while, to borrow a line.
