took a huge leap as a floor general this season. hopefully they can run the offense through him more next season then maybe they’d get farther in the playoffs
His role as a leader on the court is just insane, on both ends. He may have a lot to work on, but he is already very valuable to the team. I look forward to next year, this will definitly be a blast.
D’Angelo Russell averaged 32 Minutes,18.1 Points,3.3 Rebounds,7.1 Assists,41.1% Field Goals in 65 Games last season for the Minnesota Timberwolves🔵🟢⚪️🐺
Great floor general and can take defenders off the dribble ,, Russell can play a little too passive sometimes,, I think it's conditioning. he need to workout with ANT team lol get Kat in there too
He just looked off this whole year honestly, jumpshot looks different, he looks slower in everything, and I really don’t think he ever found is true role and it showed in the playoffs. I hope the trade him so he can shine somewhere else like he did in Brooklyn bc he won’t do it in Minnesota
That was exactly it! When you’re on your bestfriends (Kat) team and he’s hitting his prime and a top 4 center you HAVE to give him the ball. When you have a 21 year old SG that avgs 23. You HAVE to give him the ball. And DLo is a scorer himself. I know it’s hard finding where his shots gonna come from every game.
@@unreasonabledoubt165 The coach utilized him to be a playmaker because that's DLo's biggest strengths. But it's hard for him to have big scoring games sharing the court with KAT and Ant. Those 2 don't pass the ball
@@andrejohnson5042 right which leads to his misleading inefficient numbers. I’ve seen him have games where he’s only taking 10 shots. Having the pressure of not knowing when your shots are coming AND having to make them all is extremely hard
@@unreasonabledoubt165 Yup it throws off offensive rhythm. If the Wolves want DLo to be even better, they have to do a better job putting him in situations to be a hybrid scorer and passer. There was a lot of times where Ant froze out a wide open DLo to take a really dumb shot. Same with KAT. That psyche messes with your rhythm. Knowing your teammates will barely pass the ball when you're open
It’s sad after a decent to even good year it all seems ruined because of the playoffs. In my heart I’m still a fan but I know it’s just hard and the constant disappointment is tiring and takes a toll on me. I just hope the best for D lo and just hope he does well but seems hopeless and will end up dissapointed again. I know it’s just a player and I shouldn’t have became a fan, but I just believed in him and seeing his all star season and seasons like this gave me something to root for. It just feels that series ruined everything and that what I rooted for was useless. Like I said trying to move on and I got other teams and players, but I really Believed in D lo. I put a gamble on him and I just believe he is capable of being really good to even great if he just realized it and proved people wrong for people like me and tigers who believed in him. It just seems he will fade into mediocrity which will just hurt me even if move on to other players/teams. I mean we’ve seen Ice in my Veins, the Play-in, and how he plays. If he just had EVEN one game where rhe went off the past two playoffs, it would’ve meant everything to me. It’s what makes me more kissed because it feels everything he did for most of his career is worthless because he can’t even play well in the playoffs outside maybe one to maybe two games as well as the play-in. I just know he is capable of playing good at this stage and it just seems he is destined to disappoint again. It just seems he has to be the one player that fails even when he does really good things and everything crashes down on him. It just makes me want him to succeed and prof droplet wrong but he never gets it and it hurts.
agree 100%, its like the pointing to blame was all on dlo. acting like kat didnt take bad shots/bad fouls/ costly turnovers all series and finch didnt do anything to get dlo going
I mean I think he did good this year but Brooklyn and warriors dlo was different they was prime but I think he do good on a team who appreciates him like rockets u know him and jalen green
Dlo... do some drop to a squat claps... to 3 pointers... do some elbow to knee touches... holds... stretch out far... tight core... do some ladder drills... staright leg swings... diagonal... on tippy toes... do a back hard... to a fade... dont shoot the ball... flick it... do some flying knees or hurdles... and pylos box... kicks... do some perfect form... knee high holds against the wall.... then put the knee on the wall... do some kicks... 5x...
True but Ant needs a Pass first PG to play with unless they just give him the keys as the primary ball handler but it wouldn’t be pretty early on as far as him distributing the ball
Nothing "best" with Dlo this season. Big fan btw but I am really disappointed of what he is doing in the Wolves. He should be the "guy" not an inconsistent and unreliable liability player. From all-star to this.
Timberwolves were 39-26 when he played. He was obviously quarterbacking this team and he had his best year in terms of impact. His role obviously has changed since he was an All-Star and his usage is down. To say "nothing best with DLo" is dumb
@@rafaelbulos5611 like i said they did not use him in any way as a main point of offense, if you realized the grizzles hc was smart and doubled kat and dlo all series, unexpected but outta respect he knows those players r capable of going off, but finch didnt use dlo at all so he was a nonfactor

Dlo's dangerous when he can make his shots. He need little more consistency.
That’s the story of his career tho
He has to get more aggressive as well !

WELCOME BACK TO THE LAKERS DLOOO
He was suppose to go crazy vs Memphis
They have a chance this year they lineup fire
I watched a video and it said trade kat for ad 😂
If his finishing was better he'd be really good. He may need to get stronger idk.
maybe bulk up a bit. but im sure he will 💯
@@geekizzy yeah he's really close. I think if he was as big as tatum he'd be a monster
I think it's more of a focus thing than getting stronger. He don't really use the crafty moves he used in Brooklyn or Golden State anymore
