I'd written Michael (who is very professional & attentive to customers btw) to make sure they will fit snugly on long slender legs & he said yes. These look gorgeous on you, but it concerns me that my boots won't fit snugly enough behind knees.

No. They're not made to wear with bare legs and feet. That's just gross. Even with leather inside, they will get all sweaty and sticky. When you wear nylons, it's more comfortable and easier to get them on and off later. Besides, wearing nylons is classy.
