Love watching Clem play. He makes it look easy when Zerg is still the most op race to play. Dark just doesn't seem to like using spellcasters very much, they are the reason zerg dominates.
Dark is a spellcaster specialist, he just didn't even get to show what he's capable of 'cause Clem wouldn't even give him a centimeter or a second to do so.
Spellcasters of zerg Are absolutely nothing compared to the Ghost. Super fast, 0 counter, the by far best spells in the Game, cloaked, retarded Auto attack, 2 supply and really fucking cheap!! Vipers Are extremely expensive and a much worse spellcaster.
1. Terran mineral line rekt several times 2. Mules compensate for wrecked mineral line 3. Max out as Terran 200/200 as soon as you can 4. Defend as hard as you can 5. Hopefully Zerg runs out of steam and get steam rolled. Noted. gg wp.
I noticed Dark ran out of gas midway thru the first match. He couldn't mass enough banelings to hammer back the marine balls. And the window-mines! Oh, the widow-mines!
I missed it if it happened, did Dark forget to get adrenal glands in game 1? It looked like those lings were not ripping through the buildings as fast as I am used to seeing them do at +3 and in those numbers. Also didn't catch if Clem got building armor and hi-sec auto-tracking. He definitely would have benefited a lot from it, but he was always under so much pressure and so low on resources from the constant aggression by Dark. Great game 1!
End of first game, if you don't look at supplies and resources, you'd think Dark had the game in the bag. But in reality, resource exhaustion forced Dark to fight inefficiently when Clem defended brilliantly again and again. Kinda similar to Clem's win against Serral in Atlanta, even though that one was even more exciting and impressive.
Even the caster didn't think Clem could win, shows you that Clem is the only one that couldve pulled that defence off in the situation, he's just too good
Love Wardi and all he does but his analysis of game 1 situation was so off. Why would clem need more scvs with 1 and halg basis and so many orbitals? Plus the units dark had were zergs only due to the lack of gas. It was looking decent for Clem for last 5 min.
overpowered like making it so marines have no counter by zerg now with completely nerfed to the trash can banelings. There is absolutely no counter now. not zerglings. not roaches. not queens nothing. tier 20 units to counter marines is too late.
@@unapodoahiYou'd have to listen to counterpoints. Like how Zerg have more vision, plus footing that makes all units faster, Protoss can build a cheap pylon and escape their whole army away with it. They force scans or ravens just because a unit is permanently cloaked. Terran mobility is a disadvantage as well. The recent nerfs hurt Terran in my opinion.
@@gerkahn8179 Cyclones suck now. Ravens require a costly upgrade just to have something they used to have. And ghosts snipe's are noticeably worse now. None of those 3 things help Terran at all. Therefore they are only an advantage to their opponents.
Zealots with whirlwind upgrades to destroy zerglings, Stalker loses blink ability but have psionic steam upgrades which allow them to shoot at a faster rate like spores. Sentry has aoe healing upgrades similar to guardian shield.
Toss got Nerfed so much that it made matchups very difficult for them to win. This is what happens when you have a bias balance counsel. It's just like most sports... riggged.
Game developers should make protoss a race with the strongest spell casters in both AOE dmg and single target dmg like the ghost snipe. They should make protoss units to deal most of their damage through spell casting. Increase mana regen rate, and psionic storm range plus cast area. Add a new unit magical unit to deal hige single target damage. Scrap the disruptor and colossus.
Dark got too impatient that first game. If he would have kept the same strategy by strangling the map one base at a time, he would have likely won with one more base take
Fun series. Definitely a little scrappy. Clems macro keeps him in games that other terrans would crumble to the pressure. Game 1 was such a surprise victory 👏👏. At least there is 1 Terran player that can beat the imba Zerg!
Players will use the race that gives them the highest chance of winning, the fact that it's usually terran and zerg in the finals says everything about how unbalanced this game is
My point is instead of constantly balancing races which always have players complaining after every balance patch, just leave the professionals players to choose the strongest race and fight each other. IMO if a player beats another player using the same race then it will show their skill level is better than them.

Terran is just super boring to watch. Build Marines and Medivacs, maybe mix in some Marauders and upgrade them. Low Tier units in every stage of the game that pack a punch. You don't need anything else. Yes you still need skill of course, no question about that. Couldn't do it myself. But still on that level mostly only Marine Medivac. Byun is even more boring with that. More or less only plays with that comp. Watched a SC game after a long while, still super boring Terran games. Not worth watching. Stopped after the first game. With the Z or P you actually have to think about what you build. Either melee or ranged. But with T, just build Marines ... good against anything.
Yeah, because mech Terrans are not able to consistently win against Z/P. Simply too easy for Z/P to crush mech terrans, so all top tier play bio. Boring, but forced by the game.

As long as zerg is overpowered clem will continue to do well. The only non zerg who can beat the zerg

More spell casters won't solve the problem because the terran has emp which hurts protoss so much

Good players just choose the strongest race to play rather than sticking to their favourite race.
