-When you're in first and you get a triple shell or banana, don't throw them because they act as shields to other shells, bananas, and players
-When you have a single shell or banana if you hold the throw button it will hold it behind you and also act as a shield.
-Coins make your kart go faster

mini ladd, a quick tip, if you are first dont throw the item behind you. if you can, place it behind your cart, it will block the first item it touches, but i think you know that already
He obviously doesn't know that, otherwise he wouldn't throw ALL his defenses away EVERY TIME he is in first, which causes him to get fucked by all the attacks 2nd throws at him...

videowatcher551 ok, but i am used to play mario kart 7, and yes its a older game but i think you can use some tricks in this. and they can collect 2 items at max, so multiple attacks can be avoided if done right. ps can you explain what frantic mode actually is?
