Thank you so much for such an interesting and important content! I am Critical Discourse Analysis researcher. So, I would love to get in touch with people who are interested in such discussion. :)
I'm a linguistics student currently doing a research project module that has us finding an example(s) of language use and analysing it (to put it broadly because we have a few other courses doing it). I'm choosing CDA as a way to analyse debate, rhetoric, propaganda etc. So I am currently working on the Zizek/Peterson debate on Happiness: Capitalism vs Marxism but don't know if I want to limit myself to just that or even completely move onto something else or even exactly what framework I put it in. I'm watching this video as part of my research for my lit review so I would love a discussion with another passionate researcher if you would be willing
Hi, would you mind sharing in more detail about the story of Jack and Carter? I found your explanation very helpful, but I cannot understand the part about Jack and Carter
Hey! Hopefully you can help me because I am a little bit desperate. For my seminar in cultural studies, I have to write a research paper in which I have to conduct a discourse analysis of American nationalism in two poems written by Walt Whitman.... The problem is that I do not know how to apply this concept on my specific research topic...can anyone help me?
