Awesome video my guy. Quality enjoyment was excellent! I recently just built a Gradius deck funny enough. Love me some shmups man, best game genre there is! 🤘🏽
Back when I still played I was playing with Speedroid, Dinomist and Gladiator Beasts. Got to Plat 3 I think. Tried to make a B.E.S. deck work but I am not a good deck builder. Stopped playing around the time Floowandereeze was making waves. Funnily enough I had idea in my head for a video like this but I would’ve used Gradius Gaiden music and effects instead of V.
pretty cool overall editing laughed a lot i think i'm fine? idk, with the bots i got to plat 3 and stopped playing ranked for a while i was playing mathmech (which somehow got popular), and i'd play rokkets more if they didn't shit the bed if you bounce/pop their field spell, or myutants if i knew how to play them better
1:34 Okay... you have my interest now... Me were using F.A. monsters with a level modulation engine, but now, it feels outdated to the rest of the meta.
Hello, nice to see others playing Gradius too. This is extremely rare, so I'm happy to see others and what ideas they have for the deck. I think the video is very successful, I like the effects and the structure. Even if the ending drags on a bit. But you can tell how much effort was put into the video. Gladly more of it and especially from so decks and from Gradius. ;) PS: Got platinum with Gradius, but at the moment I'm pausing because of the bots, it's really no fun playing in Master duel anymore. I've only met another Garius player named Nanashi since I've been playing there. Also believe that we are the only three Gradius players on YT. XD
Thank you for your comment :) The most annoying part was to find any interesting gameplay though since Gradius will be an OTK deck consisting of a few summons and either Honest or Reckless summon. So I apologise for the lack of decent gameplays I used in the video I wanted to find a way to show an intersting loss position. Sadly a loss isn't very interesting to showcase since most losses will be due to an Accesscode or a complete domination from a prior turn board But most importantly, I left an outro gameplay to give some context to those who dont know about Gradius as a series. Regarding Nanashi, Im pretty sure Ive dueled him/her before but i cannot recall what deck they have used
@@ASalomon69 That's right, Gradius is just a simple OTK deck as it makes the most sense, which can still bring about really exciting duels. Especially if you can break the opponent's board. But if too many or the right nierung comes you really have problems. In any case, I think it's good with the presentation of the old Konami games and themes. There's a lot of that. And these can be found as themes or individual cards as well as easter eggs. I really like that. Finally, the Gadius opponents are also available as a B.E.S. which are not strong but interesting. Yes he also plays Gradius and makes videos as well. If you ever play against someone named Willow, it was me. ;)
@@ASalomon69 haha critical thinking, a lot of luck and hopefully my opponent is unaware of the decks, is how I get by, beaten some despia decks, sky strikers here and there, few sword soul decks, lately scored a few floowndawes kills
also gonna say Gradius is one of the few creative decks to build in yugioh but as discussed in the video, ranked modes are too full of combo decks and as you said, DPE's, i've faced many fallen of albaz decks too. it's really all about chance. you may have a really good hand and at times you don't have a good hand. it's way worse at locals. all you'd see is people running similar, or any meta deck which imo is pretty fucking boring and generic. RISE against the meta! and guess what, meta players seem to hate themselves so much that when a new format comes out and their expensive builds are losing it's value and/or cards getting banned, its the time for them to scramble their banks and get the next 100 dollar sets. sheeesh!

Crazy cool edit with the game selection
banger editing as always
Thank you :)
I gotta admit, I was not expecting Tribute Summon Nibiru.
Good video!
The editing at the start made it feel like I was getting ready to play laser tag

@@ASalomon69 how about you? how're you doing against the bots?
I just Alt Tab to a video and AFK for like 6-8 mins when they disconnect
It is the perfect bout of irony that the most unexpected card to mess with the meta game is one based on one of Konami's own games 🤣🤣🤣
Personally I’d love to see more of Konami’s other IPs as archetypes.

I play with Watts, Naturia, Magnet Warriors, Ghostricks, Alien and Batteryman to name a few, all of which are 85% pure builds
How do you even survive against the meta with those decks??
