Was looking for something slightly different as I've put about 400 hours into the Fitness boxing games, ring fit is very mild so using that currently but thought this might be good, I may get it if it ever goes on sale. But just after some basic keep fit now that I've dropped 82kg's using fitness boxing and yes that is serious, I was 180kg's at the start of the pandemic due to a near death and horrible pain management from doctors (Put me on a med that caused massdive weight gain then blamed the weight for my pain, the pain I was put on the med that caused the weight gain, yeah, doctors suck with pain). Weed changed my damn life alongside the freaking Switch and my brother the most supportive bitch on the planet who really was my rock in dropping the weight.
Good review. The biggest problem I had was holding the joycons. I did martial arts for 17 years, so having something in my hands felt unnatural for punches. I ended up buying the wrist straps to hold the controller in, and I’m glad I can say it worked well. I didn’t see any hit detection problems with it at all. I pair this with switch yoga and it’s a nice little home workout for the winter.
We already hat something similiar on the XBox 360 - Your Shape, Fitness Evolved. By that time I played the hell out of it and I still use it sometimes. That was the best experience I had until today. Box-VR or Beatsaber are very good, too. But no other Fitness game came even close :)
Does it have enough workouts for a whole year? I’ve been doing weight loss mode for 5 months. It’s my all time favorite game! Do you know if they will come out with an advanced version? I absolutely love everything about this game. I can’t go a day without it unless my too busy!
Does it have 2 player mode? Can you make the game keep the cooldown mode? Is there a way to make the action icons bigger? What is your favorite part of this game?

I'm really liking what I see, blazing fast full body workouts with little downtime. This is my 3rd day of playing Knockout. I am so sore in my shoulders and upper back, but I like that because it makes me feel like I accomplished something. I definitely agree with you in how it should show each move or have some kind of tutorial. Mostly because its not just about how you jab or cross, but you need to twist your body a certain way and the feet movements change too. I've not done any of this kind of cardio before. I've played Ringfit Adventure everyday until this came out. I think I've gotten more out of this game so far, but mostly because my heartbeat never goes under 160, which is great for me! I will do both this game and Ringfit daily, but I need to get over the soreness first and learn a little more about Knockout. I think there's alot to learn...thats just me though. Thanks for your videos...they help so much!!
The rotation at the upper back can cause soreness at first, but it'll fade! I had it at first with Fitness Boxing :) Ring Fit has more overall depth but Knockout is great for those quick, intense sessions! I'm really glad the videos are helping K!
Thanks for the review. The three minute option is disappointing to me. Three- five minutes and than having to go text and options again is too short an exercise. Especially since that mode has a lot of options you might want to use. I don't want to be in menu's so much for no reason. I wish they would have given us the option to set up three of these shorter songs in a row.
I am with you 100%. Its a shame that they havent got a playlist option. That being said, if you're using it for interval training, the menu-ing works as your downtime between intervals.
I tried out the demo of it and it seems so fun. Way, way harder than fitness boxing. Fitness boxing is great for more moderate cardio which is important but this takes things to the next level especially the challenge one which I just couldn't do well! Problem with fitness boxing is there isn't a high intensity mode really. Just easy or moderate. Great review and I will be buying it to add to my fitness routine. I still go to the gym twice a week but I live 25 minutes away by car so it's not easy to go more often which makes things like this great. For me things like this are for a bit of extra fun to supplement traditional training.
Fitness Boxing 2 has the No Mercy mode which increases the complexity of the combos and has longer overall sessions, which adds to intensity! Still, I feel KHF definitely has an edge on the variety and intensity of workout!

Ring Fit is a fantastic all over fitness program, and Fitness Boxing is definitely an interesting and fun workout. If you've got a decent base of fitness and no major movement restrictions, go for Knockout Home Fitness! It has the ability to slot into a busy schedule, high intensity workouts and uses a lot of movements that Fitness Boxing doesn't cover (a lot of hip and knee flexion and extension). Even allows targeted moves for Balance, Arms, Legs, and Core. However, it is easy to cheat some moves and when I do some moves, I don't work the muscles that are supposed to be used. Example, when I do squats, I feel it more in my calves when I've been told i should feel it in my glutes or thighs and when I do the "back straightening stretch", I feel it in my thighs, not my back muscles. And some moves, like Leg Raises, which is one of the few moves that gives a good core workout, has so few reps, that it doesn't do much. But it also allows me to customize a routine to fit whatever I want to try and work. As well as give you the option to customize a jogging path for you. Knockout allows me to get in a good workout while learning some self defense. It's high intensity leaves me sweating everytime. However, it find it annoying that I can't do personal training more than once a day and doesn't allow customization or extra training tutorials for some moves. Also, after about 2 weeks, it took forever for a new "set", as I call it, to appear so I can unlock more crowns. If you feel tired in the middle of personal training, you can't just end it there. You have to finish it and sometimes, if I get nothing but challenges, I have to stop for a whole hour before I have the strength to stand and finish. With all those points, which do you think is the better fitness game?

I do have a question. I have this and Ring Fit. Which do you think is the better game for an overall workout?
Here are my points that cause me to debate with myself and those I recommend the games to:
Ring Fit allows me to go for jogs between battles and encourage me to stop at some point. As well as give me specific stretching, depending on what "worked" the most and allow me to decide if i want to challenge my fitness level or go easy that day.
