I thought it would have been in French but still I'm not disappointed. It's a good rendition. Both are amazing vocalist.
i'm french and i've never thought "Belle" has different versions still like the french version better but they did a great job and they have great voices
who is the original “Belle” singer?
@@exkinggameplay8433 the french one of course, "belle" is a french word, the story of the song is from Victor Hugo's book "Notre de Dame de Paris"
This musical transposition of Hugo's masterpiece was itself a fucking masterpiece and so it HAD to be translated in many languages (9 that I can account of).
In Italy it made a huge success, after all Riccardo Cocciante (the music composer) is Italian, everyone knows him here and you can clearly hear his style in every piece.
It was a fucking masterpiece, both in music, text, scenography, choreography, voice and dance performance. It gives me goose bumps every time I watch, or even listen to it.
So far, I've heard (just out of curiosity) the French, Korean, English and of course Italian version. I concur that the French version blends better with the metric, I guess because Riccardo Cocciante and Luc Plamondon worked in close contact (thought I had to guess 90% of the words and was hugely helped because I know the Italian version). However not everyone knows French and therefore in my opinion the translations were much much needed all around the world.
Did I already say it is a fucking masterpiece? XD
@@sofianepruvost957 bah oui et c'est français donc c'est la version original
One thing I really adore from Koreans is their appreciation for musicals and classical music. I can rarely encounter anything like this broadcasted in indonesia
kalopun ada ga bakal laku
True
for real sis, pls knp ya di indo ginian gak laku pdhl indah bgt :(
Karena beda budaya
@@ayulindahertyasetyowati9917 not really. Sebab negara seperti Indo and Malaysia have Muslim population and especially in Malaysia, doing foreign musical act with christian elements is controversial. Imagine how do you translate "the age of cathedral" into Bahasa melayu? "Zaman gereja"? Lol.
Liked the guy singing the higher tone more. Honestly, after hearing brunos version I don't think I'll ever find another like Bruno. His voice is extraordinary. The way he sang as if seeing a memory, that strength yet tenderness when he sometimes sang is simply.... Soul shaking. I do love how the Koreans have such an appreciation for the arts though.
I really like this Korean version - VERY EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE.
We still have the same emotion in french or Korean. Bravo
Great performance magnifique interprétation
That’s freaking beautiful 😍😦 those high harmonies towards the end made me speechless 👍
I was all ready to sing along but when I heard the korean I was like whaaaaaat?!?! 😂😂 It's a good rendition! The two languages I love the most, french and korean.
I never knew there was a korean version of these songs...they are beautiful
Très belle interprétation
wow Bravo!
OMG I Love Junho's voice! It's so sweet
Breathtaking rendition! Bravi,bravi,bravi...
Oh my, miss this rendition of melody. I still remember watching the age of cathedral musical for the first time at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris😍. I thought its gonna be in french but this version is okay too.
Great! Great!!
As a Montrealer who remembers the first time I heard that song in 98, seeing the musical spread his wing like this, 😭😭😭😭😭
I just discovered that "Notre Dame De Paris" is known in Korea thanks to Taehyung (bts) 'cause he sang "Le temps des cathédrales" in korean
It's so beautiful in Korean I love it, and the singers here are really good 🥺
Same lol. I was watching Run and hearing him and reading the lyrics, I was like I know this song
Don't you just hate it when everything in Kpop these days are somehow related to bts :(
@@thienlongtruongnguyen7085 hum no ? I'm actually glad I discovered this thanks to them, like I loved this musical so much when I was younger so discovering they did it in korean too thanks to my favorite group is really good to me
Especially as a French person, I'm so proud they know it
Panpan idk maybe if sth appears too much at certain point u get sick of it 😫
@@thienlongtruongnguyen7085 It's better for a good song getting more attention from bts fans than not at all just because it's "annoying". I'm glad the fans get to appreciate other beautiful things because of them.
magnifique
My godness, this interpretation si divine.
I got goosebumps when they sing in korean but this is very brilliant though
Love this
magnifique interpretation bravo
I love the second song... Ish i wanna cry 😭😞
Bravo
They deserved to win...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the dancer is just... DAEBAK! 😍😍😍
Felicitaciones.
wooah so beautiful🤩👏👏
Amazing very amazing i hope one day you can duet with Il Divo
WAO...BEAUTIFUL VOICES
THE GENIUS RICHARD COCCIANTE IS THE AUTHOR
@@rejeanblais5632 well, I wouldn't say false, just incomplete. It is true that Cocciante was mostly the sole author of the music after all: you can breathe his style in every song of the whole musical; but obviously, being it a musical, there's also text, choreography, scenography, voice and dance performance and those had to be done by other (equally skilled in their own field) people.
I think Cipriano was just referring specifically to the music: after all, the words here are Korean and therefore were not exactly written by Luc Plamondon
I like the original version
Beautiful!
BCP says, "Bravo!"
Quá tuyệt vời!
Perfect voice make the song more powerful.
Güzelim müzikalin ırzına geçmişsiniz 👏
Interesting to hear it in Korean.
Wow........!
Here because TaeHyung sang this song 😍❤️
Les français ?🇫🇷

Damn yesssss

oh my God .
3:35 this made me laugh so much wth lol
Belles reinterpretations bravo
Perso je préfère en vf
Thank you, Taehyung.. Again.
i’m disappointed i think it will be in french >:(
That woman is unnecessary distracting me not because of her looks but because I want to put attention to them.
Nice try... But... Mmmm
