Perhaps you could throw the weight of your popularity around a little bit, and suggest to them that they add some quick-lock bolts for the support bars (so that we can easily separate the bars and collapse it down for quickly stowing) and/or an optional wall hanging kit for storage when not in use? Since my floorspace is limited, it's not an option to simply leave it out, and since this isn't the "best option" for ALL VR titles, I can't really justify having to constantly pack and unpack it every time I want to play a different game. I imagine that many other VR players don't have the means to justify getting an entire studio just for VR. I had been seriously considering the kickstarter for the C2, but these are THE factors that absolutely shut down my willingness to make that purchase at any price.

Early adopters can have fun with this. It looks really interesting, but it'll have to drop in price by at least 2/3rds before I'd even consider one, and that's years away if ever. I don't like playing games like NMS on VR because I get motion sick very quickly. This would help massively with that - plus, you say it's big, but it's a fixed size. If you have a space to put it in, it'll work well... and give VR access to infinite open worlds in the same small & fixed play area.

thx for this.. now i made up my mind... not to buy it .. it will killed roomscale gaming for me.., noise will be a problem for sure.. because im using over ear index, looks tiring and can be more sweaty, than usual with my bhaptics

A seat module was absolutely a must for me to even consider any of these VR treadmills. Exploring a VR world should not be like queueing for an amusement park ride. You walk, you run, you find a seat, you sit, you get into your spaceship, you sit. ;)
Question, with the chair, how does it avoid getting in the way? Do you have to manually attach and detach it every time? Because based on it's position, it looks like it gets in the way when you're standing up.
This looks like something NASA should be considering as an inclusion in health management hardware for crews on long term stays on the moon, or mars. Combined with VR, this "IS" the holodeck. For more comfortable swimming simulation KatVR should include a separate harness, which would be just like a hang glider harness, to provide more support along the entire torso, and upper legs, so you don't feel like Godzilla's holding you by the middle. LOL This would also open the door to hang glider simulations, too. Thanks for sharing this.
