Also, I always knew that the Nico-Gideon relationship was romantic and then Libby would be with Tristan. While i like and respect both these relationships i love the Nico-Libby dynamic and would love for it to be romantic. I really like the idea that they can feel eachother, that their magics complete eachother and that they're not whole without the other. I would love for them to be romanticly involved.
I feel like with the alliances i wish they culminated into something like at least a friendship. Reina was just yearning for a friend and i feel like they all ended up further apart rather than closer together
Personally, I really like the idea for the whole trilogy but the execution was just not it for me. It just feels like there's too much stuff, too many useless things happen and there were times when i was just so bored. I really like the story i think it's really interesting and the whole Libby scenario was really fun. However, i don't think we saw enough of that and Reina was so fucking boring! I used to not really care about her and i kinda dislike her and i'm so annoyed at her for just being that boring. Even Parisa was kinda boring tbh... Overall i liked the idea of the plot but it was just too long and way too many useless things happened! It kinda felt like she was writing just for the sake of writing... It was too much. Sorry for my rant..
The kiss at the end had me like ??????????? like felt there was absolutely no setup and just thrown in there for Twitter's sake. Was devouring this book but left disappointed :(
Wait im sorry so i Just finished this book after loving the first one and then this one kind of put me in reading slump but anyways.. BELENA DIES!? because i finished it and i thought that she becomes a baddie and is like “I’m tired of nobody listening to me for 30 years i’m starting my own environmental group” but maybe i just made that up because the book got boring or something 😅
Yeah I think she dies. It was written a bit unclear. But I really thought she was introduced because she was gonna have an instrumental role in the last book and her and Libby would have to confront each other and maybe resolve their issues. But no she just dies... Still I loved the book because I am trash for Nico
@@rileyslibrary lol definitely a little country but its not super thick. It pops out every few words for sure. I'm from New York though so my ears may also just be tuned into our sound 😂

I just see them so platonic, almost like twins, but I totally see your side of it!!!
@@maisylittle5266 Same! Like love-hate relationship, just like siblings
The magic system isn't too smart for you, it just doesn't make sense 😭 I swear Olivie is just making it up as she goes

And even tho stakes were high it felt like whatever

I came here to have my feelings validated. Thank you. It felt like a classic 2nd book where a lot happened and I just couldn't care about it at all
I had the exact same thought about the overall feel. It put me in a reading slump, and I adored the first book too!
It made me so sad
for me the atlas six put me in a reading slump so i’m looking for tap spoilers

I finished this book an hour ago and I 100% agree with every point you've made! Thankyou for validating my experience 😆

I’m pretty sure she did but I honestly can’t remember half of this book

You kinda look like the Libby I pictured whilst reading the first book! :)
