I've got 7 flutes. I started with a C. My mother couldn't stand the pitch. So then I got a G, she didn't like that either. Then I decided to get a low D, she doesn't complain as much, but still does. She should be grateful that I didn't take up the bagpipes. I've got one double in a C. I've just ordered my 1st drone in an F.
I live in Brazil and recently I bought a low Eb drone Flute. It's amazing, I play it every day, it feels like it was made for my hands, but I know what you mean, people that I know people that have smaller hands than mine have a hard time playing it. And I spent (and still spend) a good amount of time practicing it.

Thank you for another wonderful video. Several years ago you started me on my flute making journey. I watched your videos and purchased your book. It is a wonderful hobby. I even made a drone flute in Am. It’s my wife’s favorite. It will probably be my only one, as getting it tuned perfectly was tough! I have pictures of my flutes on Adams Flutes on facebook. Again thank you for beginning my flute making adventure.

Hello @BlueBearFlutes Is it possible to save a Drone flute that absorbed humidity? 😵 (weather) mine sounds really bad, any suggestion please?
Humidity is usually one of the last possible problems. It is still possibly a problem however. Please see my troubleshooting video on drones and contact me through my website if it doesn't solve your issue.
