John is unique. Even if when he's not acting, he's like doing some natural acting.
I think it's all to do with his unique voice and that natural eadpan delivery. Amazing actor and also very funny without even trying to be.
Amazing storytelling ability
Malkovich’s tone of voice, intonations, pitch, and delivery are always epic. What a storyteller! 👏🏻
i love the fact that his face expression doesnt change at all meanwhile everyone is laughing their ass off even when john doesnt even say anything funny

True! It's all in the delivery...some are born to it. Not me though : ( I can say something funny...no laughs...my husband or someone else in the room who found it funny will repeat it with a different influx and the room roars. I'm like...wait what?
@@LifesPeachy321 very true. john apparently naturally has the voice and the face to say anything and make it sound funny, as his speaking rhythm is slow. its the combination of all of that which makes him funny, even though he isnt a funny guy. hes not a man who tells jokes as per say like chris rock, but his expression gives that impression.
This story is also probably not all that funny to him.

I wish we would see him in more movies. He is a brilliant actor, we just don't get to see enough of him on the big screen lately.
Every time I've seen John Malkovich in a film he is either yelling or swearing or usually both. But, when he is doing and interview, he is so quiet and calm that it makes you question his acting abilities.

They were going to have John Malkovich play Ed Gein but the producers decided he was far too creepy to play a serial killer.

Malkovich is so deadpan, but utterly hilarious. And one of the best actors of our time. For me, he stole the show in Expendables. Actually, he pretty much steals the show in any movie he is in. He has portraying some one who is barely keeping sane down to a T.

He is such a great storyteller. He has a really funny way to articulate. I laughed so much at the light house for the blind story from the same episode (sadly I don't think they have a clip of it here).

No one can tell stories the way John Malkovich does.
He's hilarious. Saw him in the stage play Burn This, many years ago in NYC. He played an extremely flawed man, but John somehow made the character charming. Such a great actor.
I wish I could find the clip of him, yrs ago on another talk show, talking about his early days in Chicago theatre when he was driving a school bus in an affluent area to make ends meet. His descriptions and imitations of the kids criticizing him were so hysterical I pissed my pants laughing.
I'll NEVER forget his portrayal of Lennie! That film make me cry for days.

He clearly was freaked out. You can see it in the last moment of the clip. He's not really enjoying sharing that story, and it's probably a moment that he doesn't like to relive.
When John M starts talking, click on setting and change the speed to "1.5"..........go on try it.
