Brevard for the most part is ok. There was flooding, but not to the extent of Asheville and Chimney Rock. The city is still in tact, and businesses are beginning to reopen. Pisgah forest and all trail systems are closed currently. Rosman, Cruso, and Connestee were more severely impacted.

My son lives in Asheville and he said that it looks like a war zone. He has no power or running water, but he's alive, thankfully. He and his girlfriend have been buying whatever they can, since they have been able to navigate their way out after 5 days, and bring it to relief stations. Praying for the victims who lost loved ones or their homes.😢
