Still a weird concept how they make them **Sound** incredible.. But it's true.
Not to mentioned they are really fun to drive handling wise too.
They nailed the sound on the Taycan, it sounds exactly like the one I drove
@@DonJoewonSong My personal favorite electric motor for the sound it makes would be a huge, 100+kW 3-phase with no soft-start, just listen to the beast roar XD
@@Avethothe sound in most EVs is faked. Taycan included. However I will say I do really like the noise the taycan makes.

If you unlock via the Playlists.. You can swap anything with anything. It's pretty dam cool.
You can unlock even more sounds like "increased engine tonne and bass" via Summit Rewards and other.

I like that their idea of electric sounds is probably inspired from straight cut gears with how foot off the pedal sounds.
Max Verstappen’s Racing Number was 33, not 3. This is Daniel Riccardo’s car.
The Car I'm driving is the 33.. The Cutscene from Red Bull was #3 as I couldn't find the reveal for the RB14 33.
Seems to be literally none existant online. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough.

What makes me like the EV sounds here is that it feels like they have put an actual engine sound in it, just made it so quiet that you can just about hear it, and i love that
What i find funny is the electric sound makes it sound like the proper V6 turbo hybrid engine

Seems like motorfest is gonna be a good gap between the forza series and NFS series. Glad the crew is branching out the way they are to make the experience tailored to how you wanna play and race.
They have improved pretty much every aspect of the game.. It's really impressive.
The improved handling really makes it more enjoyable.

You know what? Back then, I haven't touched Crew 1 & 2 after trying out their physics and I cannot explain how stupid they've felt. I loved FH4, FH5 was not that great but still good. This looks like a perfect hybrid of Crew & FH & NFS. I'm actually excited for this game.
That is one of the coolest fucking features I've ever seen and I hope it makes it to more arcade racing games.

The V6 engine is much better in my opinion. There's no way you can drown out the much louder sound of an aeroplane or helicopter flying overhead. That's impossible. Believe me, while everything about the game looks good, that big drop has to go. Either that, or it's made smaller so the cars don't have to possibly get smashed to smithereens after landing. Only the creators of the game can decide what engine the car gets. You're still getting to grips with the controls, so the big drop is better best avoided. Formula 1 cars are not designed to run off ramps and sail down from a height of that status, they are designed to run on level ground. Speed isn't everything, the game is about having fun whether you win or lose. Have fun and do it safely.
I had so much fun with the beta I can't wait for the full release, I mean I literally can't wait I WANT IT NOW
The only miss they had here, if its electric it doesnt need gears. But still a good step forward!

You're gonna love it mate.. I feel that Horizon 5 has become super stale and they're adding nothing that makes the game fresh.
This is a completely different feel completely stacked with different things to do. Not to mention 28 player online racing!! (Carnage but brilliant)
AI was trying to decide who was the real laurent 🤣anyway, game does look great, but it kinda feels like the crew 2 in another map, im not that hyped. these engine sound vanities are funni tho, gonna be something that will trigger a lot of people

This is something that happened to many games now, not just The Crew... Forza and Gran Turismo now lock single player and other basic features like buying cars and upgrades behind the online connection 😭

I played the beta, it was decently fun, though I'm not sure about the playlists being in loaner cars. I heard you can replay them later with your own vehicles though I'm not sure if there's a point to doing so. Hopefully once the game is out there's more reasons to acquire and upgrade cars beyond the weekly challenges and grand races.
That and for goodness sake let us rebind stuff to the B button on xbox controllers. Having that be the cancel binding button is such a silly oversight.

i played the beta on PC and on PS5 - the advanced haptics on the PS5 with a dualsense controller were amazing ... if only they would fully support it on PC (like the ratchet & clank port does...)
I wish I could use the Haptics on PC.. The emmersion was so much better.
I'm hoping they include novelty sounds over time.. Could make for some hilarious racing!!

There is the summit, which is weekly events
They host something called "The Summit" which is exclusive per week.
But you won't be missing any exclusive rewards for at least the first 3-4 weeks.
It still sounds like an ICE, although now with a sci-fi sputter noise when decelerating.
I really hate fake engine sound for EVs. Or fake engine sound completely.
Understand that realistic EV sounds would be boring as hell to listen to. Motorfest made them more enjoyable to drive and hear as you’re tearing up the track

Weirdly it does change performance.. I noticed the car went 5mph slower but it did accelerate quicker using the electric sound.
