The 69 and 70 Delta 88 four dr hardtop was one of the most beautifully styled four door cars in history. Just look at that beautiful profile. A short deck and a hood that stretched on forever. I’ll never forget the night that my father pulled up in his. His was a 1970 in deep forest green with a black vinyl roof and interior. I couldn’t believe how elegant it was and how much it looked like a Cadillac that Cadillac wasn’t making. We lived in a really beautiful little house but we moved up a notch when dad brought this home. It was one of Bill Mitchell’s finest works. I’m certain that Cadillac used this car as their muse when designing the fourth generation Seville and every Cadillac sedan from the current Arts & Science generation. I’d really like to have a CT6. The center of the hood is the most forward part of the car. The center of the trunk lid is the rearmost part of the car. They look tailored like a fine Italian suit. They look as though they’d been faceted by a diamond cutter. Even the interior looks as though the influence was from this car’s. I get very emotional whenever I see this exact variant {4dr hardtop (Holiday Sedan in Oldsmobile speak} because of my father. In fact I’m all welled up by just seeing it and hearing that throaty exhaust again. Thank You for bringing it to us to see. Take good care of it and yourself and enjoy it.
When i drove my 69 4dr hardtop everyone thought it was a cutlass from the front end. The nicest 4dr hardtop ever wish I still had it, not too many left tho.
I saw another one of your videos and I have to say you took a four-door, probably supposed to be factory luxury car, and made it look like a two-door muscle car.... that is awesome..you really turned that car around... shaving the back door handles and putting letter tires brought it out big time. I tip my hat to you
Youre too modest👍...Yes it can be done to any hard top.. but just like anything in life, in order to make something happen you have to have the vision the determination and the finances somehow...
