They nerfed him a little, early game you won't be able to have a passive ready to hit an enemy and everytime you move or everytime you stay still, His passive doesn't Regen so it's a little nerf for him
Plus longer cooldown for ultimate, you are not going to survive them after you finish using your ult because while waiting your ultimate to be usable, enemies can still hunt you down

Many didn't notice this, but martis gonna be stronger with skypiercer, skypiercer triggers after ult so it doesn't reset ult, but when this changes will be applied any damage right after ult will reset its cooldown, so maybe try martis roam with dire hit and skypiercer to oneshot anyone under 50% hp lol
Yep I instant kill a 50% hp Johnson because I use dire hit + Sky piercer + 30% boost ult after kills. And the enemy Johnson doesn't buy much hp items lol

Rest in peace current Phoveus, you will be missed. The new Phoveus won't be as matchup dependent, but was the revamp really worth it? He will no longer counter dash heroes, and everything he can do, Arlott does it better.
I mained phoveus the recent month, and yes. It WAS worth it. What's the point of having a hero that only counters very specific heroes, when other heroes do it better? Problem with wanwan? Get a good chou or a karina. Hell, even a tigreal does phoveus' job better. In the entire three years phoveus was in the game, I have only come across him in ranked a grand total of six times. Reason being that he doesn't bring anything to the table if the matchup is against heroes who have bearly any dash/blinks. And even against heroes he counters, he doesn't do a good job. So much for being a "dash counter".
Reworked phoveus on the other hand, would not only counter dash heroes, he'd be able to sustain himself without depending on the opponents' mobility.

I don't know bro, phoveus could've been easily improved if they buffed his dmg scaling, lower his CD, lower his mana usage and make the ult animation faster
In fact all of these possible patches I've mentioned would've made phoveus a capable hero, but instead they choose to waste their time by revamping him into a bootleg arlott, and if you truly think this is worth it, then play arlott bruh, no point of playing revamped phoveus when arlott exist lmao

As a rare Argus user, I don't like that he can't push towers like how he used to anymore. He can't have energy regen from hitting towers. he is a nightmare in the battlefield but I don't want my full solo exp push/assasin gameplay to change. My gameplay revolves around pushing turrets, bullying explaners and killing the enemy core if necessary

@@Sonicexe-nm1vm during his 1st release, his 2-1-3 combo is a sure kill because of the absurd damage paired with cc, even tanks die instantly. In that season, I had 1200+ matches and 84+ wr with him even while carrying a useless duo. That’s how broken Julian was.

I’m gonna try and force myself to like this new Phoveus. He’s not as OP as before, if only they made the range the same, and every dash activate his ultimate. He would be perfect.

I could see Phoveus being released during August of next month.
Which could include things like Ling Nerf, Joy’s 1 millionth adjustment, Masha’s 1 millionth change, and etc.
Moonton had announced that the phoveus revamp will be in the official server at 31/7/2024

honestly, that's an okay take. New phoveus doesn't have shields, so letting him ult as frequent as the enemy dashes wouldn't be too broken, as long as they reduced its damage. Either way, new phoveus is better overall, as he isn't dependent on being a "counter" that barely does his job right.

The finished revamp phoveus splash art looked cool but I'm gonna miss the old phoveus
excited for the new phoveus. Current one sucks and is too dependent on his matchup. I could play him even without an enemy to counter, but his ult doesn't come into play until you have either your second skill or your flameshot ready. Not to mention, even with someone to counter, he's average at best. He literally has ONE skin because nobody plays him, so I don't know why people are so adamant with keeping him the way he is.
The new one feels like both a counter AND an independent hero. I can definitely see his pick rate spike up with this new revamp.
I rlly do love this revamp cuz now i can use him more bcuz he wont be dependant on dash reliant heroes but i think why people dont like it cuz they remove his unique ult and it was to punish dash heroes although it wasnt really a good one cuz if your fast enough his ult can be dodge
And also bcuz he is countered more easily due to him becoming physical and not magic and the readon why turning him physical is bad is bcuz there are more items to counter physical heroes than to magic heroes and yes you might think radiant counters him well it only reduces his damage by a little when the phoveus your fighting has divine glaive

Y'know one good buff I can think of for Argus is faster passive HP Regen. Like +5 hp regen to his base stats since considering the lore of Argus, He's relentless, He takes small breaks or no breaks at all before he starts fighting the abyss army again.
It's a very very small buff, but it's a good one. He'd able yo contend with the early game heroes much better.
Edit: No this is NOT like Franco's passive HP Regen. I'm referring to the built in passive HP regen on every hero.

The problem with buying all the 4 critical items is that I need to include the Corrosion Scythe, War Axe, and +1 boots. I could only buy 3 crit items in maximum.
You don't need war axe and boots on Argus, going full crit with corrosion is better

Argus targets squishy and burst them down then get away, you don't need to act like a sustain fighter and your team knows that.

First he got nerf in his passive it doesn't recharge anymore automatically he have to attack now

So nothing comes free alu have to lose something
First of all that energy which is recharged without attacking is very minute
Second u can always use cdr or fleeting time to counter it
Infact ur cool down reduction will reduce the more cd ult has with fleeting time due to its percentage attribute

Theyre really gonna go through with this revamp for Phoveus? Im telling you guys, all Phoveus needs is his old passive back and a faster ultimate in exchange for CD going on his ult, thats it. With this he'll be catching both dash heroes and dashless heroes, its really not hard to understand at all.
Mlbb devs if you watching this I'll just say, revert the phoveus skill set and just put a immobilization effect on his second skill, that's all he needs+ lower the ult cd by 10.
And he's ready to join the meta.
Just 1 buff, just a single buff could have made him a good pick.

Bruh i just saw that cyclops passive the one where he can lower his skill cooldown by hitting an enemy it now applies on his ult.
Err from the beginning all skill cyclop always get benefit from her passive including ulti😅maybe you always see ulti have very long cooldown so you not aware passive work at that skill because its not significant if you look closely but still it works as usual

You actually can't get 100% crit chance without buying two of a critical item. Berserker gives 25, haas and dragon spear each give 20, and wind talker gives 10. Even with the crit emblem it's only 80% total. You'd think it be possible for 100% crit as it's the core build for a lot of heroes, but unless the hero has a passive that boosts crit chance, it's not possible (without buying another berserker, which would waste an item slot) Also kinda ironic that Laylas main weapon the malefic gun doesn't give crit.

I want to say to people who think that Argus is strong now or that he is even imbalanced! Do you know that in the previous Argus reworks people also wrote that now he will play or also wrote that now he is imbalanced. But what do we have on the main server? And what we have a trash hero Argus who cant fight vs meta heroes. So can you stop writing this cringe? Argus should be buffed more, like increasing his attack per level. Also, you probably didn't realise, but now Argus' survivability is worse than on the main server. In real combat conditions he will be blown up, so his 3 seconds of immortality is activated almost immediately after using ult, even if he had 100% hp, but only on the main server immortality lasts 4 seconds, and now 3. Can't you see that the developers are reducing the duration of immortality with each rework? When Argus first appeared in the game, immortality lasted 7 seconds, then it became 5, now 4, and on the test server 3 seconds. Do you realise that at this rate in 2 years Argus' immortality will last 0.5 seconds?

Skill issues
While I do agree with increasing his attack growth, his ult now is arguably better even if only slightly. It grants more utility now (the 2 movement speed boosts he can get, extra rage and AoE damage) and not just a last second option. Played right, you can get the edge over the enemy pretty quick with multiple passives and if they deal fatal damage, you get a movement speed boost to either run or pursue them. It sorts of fills for Argus's lack of mobility.
Having a 3 second immortality is a nerf yes since every second counts but imo its a good trade off for more ult utility.
@@decon6009 Firstly, why take a situation where the Argus is 1 in 3? He's going to be blown up in any team fight, like a lord fight. Secondly, okay, if we're talking technically about 1 second, then on original server then he'll live 5 seconds and on test 4. Thirdly, and most importantly! In the game almost all adk and heroes with damage build buy wind of nature or freezing crown. Both of them give 2 seconds of invulnerability against Argus. So the question is what to do? He will be blown up in 1 second, get 3 seconds of ult, and the enemy hero will take it and press freeze or wind of nature? And what Argus should do? Focus tank? Argus will not be able to kill the target in 1 second of remaining ult, because you should understand that Argus will also get control from the hero with freeze or from his allies and then he will die. While fat heroes like Chong, Terizla or Esma have great potential to survive. I think to make Argus playable, developers should give him 4 seconds of ult as on the original server, buff attack growth with level, as now some mages have higher attack growth than Argus, and also give 1 full second of stunn for first skill, as it was in one of the previous reworks

They should add a different animation for high ATKSPD argus, like different animations for walking and running

Argus will be broken with this build try building him with magic boots for CD reduction on his 2nd skill build windtalker for crit with atk SPD then put haas claws and the last 3 items should just be berserkers fury I tried this and I could 2 shot an mm or a squishy jungler

this martis+sky piercer is good, but in general martis are only good in the early phase of the game, in mid and late game he's pretty much cook, slow 2nd skill animation can get him killed and he's not even that tanky, that why I stop playing martis and even this day I still hope he get rework or buff i really missed playing him like the old days 😂
