  • 🎙️ In 2024, I'm discovering the magic of Elvis Presley’s ‘Love Me Tender’ for the very first time! This beautiful 1970 performance of a timeless classic completely swept me off my feet.
The King of Rock and Roll’s voice, charisma, and emotion are just as powerful today as they were decades ago.

Ver nice reaction and a look for a few minutes into a much different world 54 years ago. Was it a better world overall, maybe yes maybe no, but definitely a much more simple and straightforward place.

Those were different times. He loved his fans and if they wanted a kiss or an autograph he gave it to them. I was in 2 of those concerts I wanted a kiss but I was with my husband. He always did this during Love me Tender. Most men didn't care I but didn't want to chance it. He gave his fans gifts, cars, jewelry. he loved people and he had been so poor as a child and he just wanted to give away what he had. That 's why he will never be forgotten. I fell in love with him when I was 12 in 1956. Now I am 80 and never stopped watching this beautiful talented man. Thanks for this great reaction. Be Blessed.

Elvis gave so much to total strangers, cars, houses, jewellery, money, paid for bills, many charities and much more and he didn't want any publicity. His cook a black lady on here talkes about the house and Car Elvis bought for her, Just to mention one of thousands. He served in the Army for 2 Years. He died Aug 16th 1977. Age 42. You would love -Trying to get to you 1968 comeback special. Just copy and past that. Thank You.

It's really unfortunate that no one seems to even know about his other housekeeper Nancy Rooks who did a great article with lots of details, where his personal clothing was stored, how she served up his food AND was in the house when he died. She also remained at Graceland for a # of yrs. after he passed away. People only talk about Mary Jenkins because he bought her a house. He also had a 3rd housekeeper but I don't recall her name.

Thank you for your reaction, I do however have a suggestion. It's best not to talk over Elvis' performances (hard as it may be) only because Elvis always did unexpected things, he was very fast, in a split second you could miss something, or he may say something that you will not hear, he also sometimes changed the song lyrics a little bit & made a joke. You don't want to miss out on all of that. Also know that he never did the same thing 2ce -- never repeated himself, so if you missed something, that was it. Thanks.
