Homemade Mozzarella Cheese | Homemade cheese recipe in 5-6 minutes

  • Homemade Pizza Cheese Recipe
    Ingredients:
    4 kilograms of raw milk
    1 glass of white vinegar
    2 tablespoons of salt
    A pot of water and ice
    Instructions:
    1. Milk Preparation:
    Pour the 4 kilograms of raw milk into a large, heavy-bottomed pot.
    Heat the milk slowly over low-medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
    Heat the milk until it reaches a temperature of approximately (55-60°C). You can use a kitchen thermometer to check the temperature.
    2. Curdle the Milk:
    Once the milk reaches the desired temperature, remove it from the heat.
    Add 1 glass of white vinegar while gently stirring the milk.
    Continue stirring for a few minutes until you see the milk curdle. put the cap and let it rest for about 30 minutes After resting, Discard the whey.. The curds (solids) will separate from the whey (liquid).
    3. Drain and Separate:
    Place a large piece of cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel over a colander.
    Carefully pour the curdled milk through the cheesecloth to separate the curds from the whey.
    Gather the corners of the cheesecloth and gently squeeze out any excess whey.
    Again Add 4 tablespoons of salt to the whey and put it on the heat and let it reach a temperature of 75 to 80 degrees, turn off the heat.
    The cheese is placed in the whey three times for 20 seconds each time
    Then you take it out of the whey and knead it with your hands until the cheese becomes stretchy. After putting the cheese in water three times and kneading it, prepare a bowl of water and ice and put the cheese in the bowl for about 5 minutes.
    Water and ice shock the cheese and actually stop the cooking of the cheese
    Put the cheese in the freezer for about 6 hours and then grate it with a coarse grater and use it
    You can grate it or slice it and add it as a delicious topping to your homemade pizzas.

    Interesting but, in my country, I can buy 125 gr of original fresh ITALIAN mozzarella with less money than I would need to buy just one (!) Lt of fresh milk--and no fuss! (Yes, I adore mozzarella-I hate cooking!)

      😍thanks for your comment , when we cook ourself its more fresh and we know what ingredient we use , so its about health also that matter

      @@ChefChapters I agree, IF you like cooking! I don't. However, I do cook dishes I cannot find ready and be absolutely sure that they are: 1.affordable 2. very fresh.

      Then you are fortunate, some of us DON’T have easy access to products that others can buy locally. Then these types of videos are very welcome. I too am not an avid cook…but…I like to eat well. There’s nothing special about Italian milk…so mozzarella…is mozzarella…unless it’s buffalo you’re talking about.
