How do you say those Jews did not know anything about the coming Messiah. They were counting Daniels time which is why Jesus said, "The time is fulfilled, the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the gospel." Israel was waiting for the restoration of the Kingdom of Israel. The apostles asked Jesus, "Will you at this time restore the Kingdom unto Israel." That means a King, People and land. Why do you think God led his people, now called Christian, to North America. Read the Mayflower Compact and other compacts written by those men. "Dedicated to the furtherance of the Christian faith, etc. Please look for preachers who know and understand this Gospel. The church is within the kingdom and not the kingdom. The church is supposed to bring light to the people by preaching the Gospel. Today people preach the imaginations of their own mind, such as preaching the Rapture which is false doctrine. Why do people overlook the Resurrection of the dead? It's because you want to escape any inconvenience such as persecution. Why didn't God rapture those Dark Age believers and take them out of the grips of the Roman Church before they were slaughtered my the millions?
