    How often do you run into snakes in that country? Looks like snake city to me.

      I've run into rattle snakes twice on SOTA, actually twice in my lifetime of hiking and the encounters were within two weeks. ua-cam.com/video/B6RlBBKI5FI/v-deo.html and and this video ua-cam.com/video/O8d2p8uIS6I/v-deo.html.
      It is snake country. I'm on the lookout when bushwhacking especially. I'm more worried for the dog than myself because I'm afraid the dog might be too interested in what it is and get bit in the face.

      @@TheHamNinja we encounter a lot of rattlesnakes here in MT. We had the vet give her shots to minimize the effects and give more time to get medical attention. Bird hunting groups here have snake training sessions for dogs so they are less likely to get close to a snake. Cheers OM hope to log more often in the future.
