This is the first video that you haven't apologized for not picking up the camera. It's so good seeing you in your family element...you look truly happy. God bless, mama!!
It's so lovely to see how your confidence has grown in your vlogs. There is nothing false or forced about your presentation. Also, it's so refreshing to see your children used as a treat now and again and not a selling point. I have really enjoyed watching you and your channel grow.💐
Hi Violet, I am Greece and feta is Creek. I hadn't seen all the viral pasta recipes and when I saw your video, I was sooo surprised!! When you said the cost of feta, I was like....ok, it's pretty expensive!!!With the same money in Greece we buy one kg...two pounds?!?...But I hope that you enjoyed it!! I love your videos!!❤️❤️
That looks delicious! I know adding fresh basil would have put it over the top for me. Good to see you laughing more again! And so glad to hear Landon is coming along well.
To see you so happy and laughing is amazing! What a blessing his treatment is working. I just got the ingredients to make the pasta dish. There is a super easy “Mississippi Pot Roast” recipe. It is 1 stick of butter, 1 pkg of Ranch seasoning and 1 pkg of Au Gus gravy mix. You don’t even need to brown the meat. Just put everything in the crockpot. It is wonderful. Take care 💗
Lol loved the insert of the squirrel made me laugh. 🤪🤪 I’ve watched a lot of UA-cam peeps making this pasta dish. Everyone seems to tweak the recipe a little. I do want to try it so maybe now I will. Loved the video and so glad you are so upbeat, knowing the struggles Landon and your family has been dealing with. Hugs to Landon and everyone. I keep him in my prayers. 💗
It is very nice seeing you smiling again..so proud you weathered those storms, so why not splurge on Tik Tok Pasta & failed Cinnamon Roll Bowls....the Roast made up for it all~ Hope all goes well w/ the fatty tumor removal. Our extended family has a history of those....Keep enjoying the days of your lives....they really do go faster & faster as the children grow~ Cyber hugs to you all~
A nice visit with you tonight! It's cool you tried some things I know I would never get around to doing lol All 3 things sound delicious, even the cinna-waffle-bowls😋
Use mozzarella instead. Cheaper. Add some parmigiano. You could theoretically use any cheese that melts well. With the mozzarella make sure you season with salt and pepper when you do your tomato. You could add basil. For that authentic Italian flavour ! 👍💜👍🇬🇧
I enjoyed your cooking vlog Jessica. It nice to watch people cook normal meals that those of who are not gourmet chefs can handle. I'm so happy to hear that Landon is continuing to get stronger. PTL!
It's always great Jessica when you do a cooking show! Glad things seem to be getting back to normal. Take care and have a pleasant family weekend. 🤗❤🙏🌎
This was such a fun blog!! I’m a vegetarian now but pot roast and potatoes were my favorite growing up! I think I’m going to tweak yours without the roast. Thank you for memories! ♥️
Doesn't it feel good to throw things in a crockpot and hours later dinner is all ready to enjoy with little effort? Lol. You had me cracking up with referring the way you eat to a squirrel. Or was it a chipmunk? Lol. Either way it was funny.
I enjoyed watching you cook. But I must admit I am a lot like you when it comes to cooking. I do good to cook breakfast in the mornings. If I am out around lunch or between lunch and dinner, I will pick something up to eat. Have a great day.
I loved this vlog. You seemed so happy and just carefree! I'm going to try the pasta too but I think i'm going to add artichoke hearts, chicken and maybe mushrooms to it. If i'm ging to go all in then i'm going alllll in lol
OMG that meat was huge! But looked delish. I got the mini waffle maker to make chips. I made the recipe too. Your feta was expensive. Add Italian seasoning. I made the mistake of adding too much pasta. Will tweak next time. Still yummy.
We are so similar- “this was expensive as crap!”( me, this better freaking taste good-lol)..that face tho! Also me lol...and your explanation of the dish, tweak the heck outta a recipe honey! 😂 I would have never done that waffle thing either ! I do make cinnamon rolls tho- kids and parent need a sweet snack now and then, ya know!! Have a good day- nice to see your mom getting a new kitchen- that’s awesome, Landon hey bud!
I did know you did one of these! It's so funny, Mary said the same thing about the pasta, tastes like a fancy restaurant 😋 our Costco does not have the feta, we used Boursin, but that actually costed more! If we paid full price for all of the ingredients it would have been over $30! Even buying the tomatoes at Costco (big pack)! Crazy 🤪 but really good
Good to see you Jessica love your cooking show👍😍💝and your up dates are positive, I'm so glad for you❣️🕊much love to you and your family😍🙋👍👏👏🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🕊southern Oregon ❣️👱♀️,
Lol! Loved this! I'm going to have to try your pasta. I don't buy much fancy cheese either, lol. And expensive as crap....I was cracking up. Rofl. Take care and God bless!
Love your cooking. I always see everyone buying the food, but not ever cooking it or eating it. This is a delightful change. Continue with prayers for your family! Yes, always drain the liquid off the cheese. I believe it's there to keep it moist mostly. I am sure there is flavor in it, but drain it off was right.
I stopped cooking for myself, I order out and eat that for two days I figured out it comes to about $8.00/ meal. I will cook forcmy granddaughters when they visit but not for myself.
Yay I love your cooking vlogs I need to get on your level girl! Everything looks so yummy!!! I am so glad Landon is doing well, is he sleeping upstairs or do you have him set up downstairs?
Absolutely love how you keep it real. Who cares if you didn’t do things like Giada! She had to start somewhere to!!! I thought everything was perfect. P. S. You can buy basil dried in the spice isle Love your blogs ❤️
Ohhhh wowza! I am going to try that pasta dish. Costco definitely has feta (in the fridge case across from the rotisserie birds across from coffee), but the one you bought looked much, much, much tastier. I bet that was very creamy. The one at Costco is the crumbled kind and is super good on salads. But, I am gonna try it with the pasta. We’ll see how it holds up. Lol 😂 Love ya bunches and loved this!!
@@ViolettVlogs I’ll give it a go this weekend and report back. Hehehe! Don’t mind me, family ... I must taste test allllllll the pasta. It looks so, so good! Appreciate you sharing it.
🤣🤣🤣I made that pasta too,,I didn't know what to do with the water either,,I so agree with you it's not something I do again🤣🤣🤣🤣I been making Alaskan Bear Vlogs(UA-cam channel)recipes plus there desserts they are soooooooo good best part so easy,,love the squirrel🤣🤣🤣💞Glad to see you back💞
I've never seen a waffle bowl maker, now I want to go get one. I got to work with fontina cheese at a former job (Nutrition tech at Kroger/Fred Mayer) before the Covid epidemic, it tastes good, and melts really good
I try to make what you make. You make it look simple and it is. One thing I would like to see are the ingredients to make homemade frosting. Doesn't look like you use too many ingredients.
I made a variation of that pasta the other week using goat cheese and it turned out really good. I’m not a pot roast gal, but yours looked delicious. Keep us updated on the elbow issue.
Yay! Missed your lady! Hello! Did Natalie grow even more since the last time we saw her? Goodness she's getting tall. Yummy food now I'm hungry and I just had pizza for lunch. :P I've always made this a thing when I watch either you or SomersInAlaska I have to eat lunch or dinner to be watching your videos. LOL idk why but I just do. Hello Lance you still exist! Lol :D
This makes me want to send some Jarlberg cheese and maybe some Goat cheese. Both are pure norwegian cheeses. Maybe you would like our brown cheese too. I'll think about it. I loved this video.
The cheese juice is call whey. It's a natural by product of dairy products and it's perfectly safe to eat. You get the same thing with cottage cheese (formerly called curds & whey). Remember "Little Miss Muffet" she was eating what we call cottage cheese today. If you stir the cheese it will become creamy. Also, stir sour cream before eating it to make it creamy instead of the lump because the whey has separated.
You’re hilarious (eating the pasta) in this video. I love that you’re so authentic.
This is the first video that you haven't apologized for not picking up the camera. It's so good seeing you in your family element...you look truly happy. God bless, mama!!
I am so happy to hear that Landon is doing so well with the treatments.

Was so glad to see you relaxed and laughing. So happy that Landon is doing better.
For the pasta , putting Italian seasoning on it is a MUST, that’s where the flavor comes from! Also sprinkle Parmesan on after too! Game changer

My favorite Pizza topping combo is a pepperoni/feta cheese and fresh diced tomato thrown on after its cooked.
Use mozzarella instead. Cheaper. Add some parmigiano. You could theoretically use any cheese that melts well. With the mozzarella make sure you season with salt and pepper when you do your tomato. You could add basil. For that authentic Italian flavour ! 👍💜👍🇬🇧

I love the feeling when you have dinner "done" by 9am! 🐿😂
It is really good with the Boursin cheese. Feta is crazy price to me. Also cut up pepperoni and let it cook with the tomatoes. So good.
I like watching your cook with me videos. I'm so glad Landon is doing so much better.
🐿loved you put the munk in eating lol ❤️

Loved the video! Your hair is curled so pretty.
Check the dairy section to get the feta. Murray's feta is pretty expensive.
Love this kind of vlog. 😆
I love your channel and your very happy vibe. I tried the pasta and it wasn't something I'd eat again.
You make me laugh Jessica, thankyou! X
Thanks for your video, loved it.

Costco carries the Feta and your dish turned out better then some other vlogs I have seen.
To stop the meat decreasing so much whilst in the crock pot; before you sear it coat it in flour.

Now i'm hungry!!! Loved the Italian music while you were doing the tomatoes and pasta! We are justing having waffles and bacon for dinner tonight!!!

Love the cooking video. Do you cook any recipes that Alaska is known for ?
Are things more expensive in Alaska? Feta near me is about 7 and those tomatoes are usually 2.50 or 3
That does look good!!! I might make it one of these days with some gluten free noods! Love seeing your face!
I love these vlogs. I really want to make a pot roast now. Good luck on the elbow thingy removal. 🙃
I love crockpot meals. Sending hugs and prayers from Debbie in Illinois.
Looks delicious ❣👌
I try to make what you make. You make it look simple and it is. One thing I would like to see are the ingredients to make homemade frosting. Doesn't look like you use too many ingredients.
My daughter made that pasta dish for me about a month ago! It was so delicious!!! Check out Costco for feta, so much cheaper same with the tomatoes.

Basil would make it delicious! Please keep laughing it’s addicting!

I wonder if you could use a different kind of cheese. Not crazy about feta.
I heard cream cheese works good too!

Hello I saw in fambam videos, your look so good I am going to try it.
oh my goodness, i cant believe how much the pasta dish cost you, here in the uk it costs me under £3.00, but it is really nice xxx
Tried this with a lump of mozzarella ...didn’t work this looks better 😃

was that a waffle bowl maker? that’s quite the specific tool

Not sure what Brie you used as you normally don’t get juice around it.
Good to see you do everyday things . One day at a time xxxx
It was feta, did I say Brie?! 😬
