Now I gave OW2 a chance since the new heroes were no longer locked behind the battlepass, and I'm honestly having a blast. I'd say they're greedy, but no longer predatory when it comes to spending, since nothing related to the core multiplayer gameplay is behind a paywall anymore. The new skins are mostly ugly and uninspired, not to mention extremely expensive, but I really don't care since they have nothing to do with gameplay and I personally wouldn't even buy a REALLY good skin for like 1$. If whales want to spend money on their slop skins, so be it. I'm fine with just passively earning a nice looking skin by just playing the game. PvE missions are also apparently paid, but I haven't really looked into it since I only care about PvP. I will most likely never spend money on this game, and I'm having fun.
Pve missions were a joke, dont even mention that. Also everything you said is perfectly fine, it's a matter of opinion what you like or don't but I'm glad we can all agree on the awful oversize of the monetization this game has got with the number 2 expansion

But yeah, glad we can see eye to eye.
I'm thinking about uninstalling ow. Would it be a good choice? Also, I'm looking at experimenting with other genres like fighting games, rpg games, exploration games, souls type games and rogue likes. Any recommendations?
There are a lot of phenomenal games out there to explore, my personal recommendation for a fighting game is brawlhallah, its free, simple to understand and fun! Rougelikes on the other hand dont have much free to play action going, but you know, everything is free if you are a pirate! Binding of Isaac, Risk of Rain 2 and Enter the gungeon are solid. Rpg and soul games not my genre, look for opinions in my discord server for those

Well they increased stability of game in this season (Frames stoped droping randomly), so imo it's a good season. + We have Rita Repulsa (Ash Mythic) in Overwatch 2. And skins mostly good. (Just look at that Mauga skin)
Yes, I noticed the frames improvement too, but its still ass on launch. Models also load slower in game perhaps due to overload of cosmetic crap the game has to tank. Skins are a prefrence, there will always be some good and some awful ones, the mythic imo sucks donkey shlong

No game matches his movement and agro style. I've tried titanfall and it aint it. I also like the hamster for same reason. I dunno i disagree with most of this. Yeah theres too many paid skins but thats all i dislike about it, and i really disagree about the developers only caring about making new cosmetics, the game gets updated with balancing and mechanic tweaks a lot in accordance to community feedback. This makes it a bit chaotic but i like it, keeps the game fresh. I still love the game and its a shame that other people dont enjoy the gameplay, i dont individual skins either or most battle passes since they arent all made equal. I hear all the arguments about tank not being fun and counter swapping being a huge issue but i play quite a lot of overwatch, exclusively quick play and its so fun and dont feel this issue as much. I also see much less hateful chat and reporting does tangibly make a difference. Then again i could not really get into TF2 since it seems mostly like a social game to play with friends since the actual game is so disorganised.
In my opinion the balanced helped (apart from orisa) to make the gameplay fresh, the fact that now kiriko can't cleanse stun is huge and having old flash grenade to Cass will shake the game. Also they added a new mode that is pretty funny, I agree this is not "the best" season but I think it has something interested. For example in this season they bring back pink mercy and a new version of her, also they have new skins (I know is for money but also to celebrate the summer) and having back also famous modes can bring happiness and on top of that they even announced a crossover with transformers (and added a new push map that is cool). I believe this season is like season 8, a filler yes, but in this case they tried to make it much more interesting, waiting for the new season with also the announcement of the new support hero. I can understand that qp is not really funny but thats is beacuse of the playerbase, i personally mostly play rank alone but i still have fun, and when there is some friends is even better. Id say that ow as up to know is just having a bad moment because of the bad season and all the expectations that players had hoping to have the egyptian theme but, as i said, i understand your point of wiev on the game, being an old player of the game.
Pink mercy is for a good cause, but at this point it feels more like a PR move rather than something done out of pure good will. The balance changes dont change the fact that there is no individual impact in the game anymore (some people like it this way, I dont it pisses me off). More collabs are done for more money and attention, no originality, I dont care about tranformers, cowboy bebop or whatever they collab with next or before. Expanding the lifeguard skin line also feels like a cash grab since the mercy skin sold so well. This is what I was talking about, I cant point out a single feature in this season that would try and make a difference. The new mode will be forgotten in a blink of an eye, and the new map is for push, which players looooove to death.
@@HeySimply ok, let's dissect this: "Pink mercy is for a good cause, but at this point it feels more like a PR move rather than something done out of pure good will." why? you can't just say that and not elaborate. a lot of people were pissed off because they bought pink mercy secondhand, so it's not even like this is a unanimously approved decision "The balance changes dont change the fact that there is no individual impact in the game anymore" yes there is. if you shoot people, they can die. that is objectively individual impact. just because you don't like the game being too team-based means that it's impossible to get anything done alone. if you talk in absolutes, i'll assume you think in absolutes. "More collabs are done for more money and attention, no originality, I dont care about tranformers, cowboy bebop or whatever they collab with next or before" this is an opinion you're pretending is a fact. just because you don't care doesn't mean nobody cares "Expanding the lifeguard skin line also feels like a cash grab since the mercy skin sold so well." these are skins, dude. people liked a skin so they made more with a similar theme. if that's a cashgrab, making a sequel to a movie that does well is a cashgrab. updating a game is a cashgrab. "The new mode will be forgotten in a blink of an eye" yeah, no shit. this is an experimental arcade mode. look at where trying to add major gamemodes has gotten us so far. "the new map is for push, which players looooove to death." i've heard more complaints about flashpoint than push. push also has, like, 2 maps, one of which sucked ass and was changed this season because it sucked ass. they also tried to rebalance the gamemode. i feel like you're intentionally leaving out key details here i genuinely don't know what you want. if it's meant to make people happy ('pr move'), it's bad. if it's meant to make money, it's bad. if it's meant to get people to play ('for attention'), it's bad. we've run out of motives to update the game.
@@HeySimply I agree that the individual game impact is not impressive but I have to say that we are talking about a team-based game where the team makes the difference between victory or loss. I can see your point of wanting to have "freedom" to do your move but I honestly prefer to the idea of having the team together to do stuff, but this is only my wiev. I also agree that the return of pink mercy is not made for pure love, but I try to see the positive side, at least with this I can help someone with a "little" donation. I wanna point out that I completely agree that the expansion of the lifeguard skins is for cash, but if people buy it that means that people wants it, I do know that is not good to have a game that push buying skins as a priority but you are now forced to buy it. I know that is not something good to say to someone but I think that "only" complaining will change things. I'm also on your side that this season have nothing special, but as I said in the previous comment, you could try, as I do, to see this season more a filler rather then a "seroius" season, but I get that is not cool to have a boring season in the summer. Anyway thx for having the patience to read my comment and even give me a response, I appreciate it
@@mrdeadmemes 1. I did elaborate by saying it is a PR move. 2. Try getting a solo kill as a tank like ball or reinhardt in any 1v2 situation. 3. Fortnite, also overflow of this behavior makes the game completely loose its identity, which will make it look like a used prostitute in no time rather than that cute girl you used to remember from highschool. 4. Every product is a cash grab, even apples. You could think of something more original like the winter junkrat beach skin, but instead you are green lighting a copy paste cookie cutter approach that since one skin sold well it should be copy pasted on 5 more heroes. Good luck with character recognition in 1 year where every hero will be the same lifeguard design. OVERBEACH 3 *play of the game music starts playing* 5. You agreed with me 6. I have no idea where you live but I'm very jelous, push compared to flash point is night and day. I want the game to try, not go for shortcuts. If there are so many lifeguard skin why not make a new game mode around that idea for funzies. Give the workshoppers better tools to customize the maps themselves. They wont change the entire game now, but you can clearly see when the company is trying to immerse you in their product so you can enjoy it, have fun, not complain about breast milk like in Deep Rock Galactics case, or you can show the players you only care about money, do everything for money, and there will be people like you who will defend a multi milion company because you like transformers.
the only thing that kept me in was the coop missions and modes. Personally, I like how they handled OW1's format of coop back then with Archive missions and stuff as it was fun, story driven, and had a lot to offer (maybe due to how nostalgic that was such as Uprising or Retribution) OW2's PVE on the other hand *cough* *cough* Whatever the hell THAT story mode was, had the basic formula but never went further and felt underwhelming and boring due to how incompetent ActivisionBlizzard or whoever the hell was managing this idea of cancelling the only thing that they hyped up for years which sacrificed the 1st game for.
Ow2 is an ok f2p game, but if you think of it as the sequal of overwatch, then it sucks

i've heard more complaints about flashpoint than push. push also has, like, 2 maps, one of which sucked ass and was changed this season because it sucked ass. they also tried to rebalance the gamemode. i feel like you're intentionally leaving out key details here
i genuinely don't know what you want. if it's meant to make people happy ('pr move'), it's bad. if it's meant to make money, it's bad. if it's meant to get people to play ('for attention'), it's bad. we've run out of motives to update the game.

OVERBEACH 3 *play of the game music starts playing*
5. You agreed with me
4:29 Hey, that's me!
Hello you!
I play a 6v6 workshop game mode 🐴
can we just admit that paladins is better than ow2? At this point at least
Well ow2 was ok at first but the aging was as if it was thrown down the stairs))
Elderly people do fall down the stairs ocasionaly
the only thing that kept me in was the coop missions and modes.
The most fun match of overwatch I had lately was playing arcade and talking sh*t about blizzard with a Ball player while I bubbled him as Zaria
amazing hit noises
I only play overwatch cos some of my female friends like being mercy
