Thank you for your birthday wishes, Jim, much appreciated. You are correct as well, I indeed have changed my name to Anatole and things have been crazy but I've been enjoying life. This is a hotel I have been interested in for a while since not much is out there on it, and it is definitely a unique one.
Okay Anatole, thanks so much for verifying that for me. Hopefully I wouldn’t be mistaken from now on, but I’m glad you’re doing well in life. I assume you’ve graduated from hotel school/college and fully working at the job you’ve been passionate for? Because I just graduate from college this past summer! You seem to stay in a lot of hotels based on the interest you are in, as well as the career you are pursuing.
Huh… for toilet fans who are watching the part at 15:49, this is basically an odd toilet (probably a Zurn Titan toilet)? Which is basically an Eljer Titan toilet with the older 2000s Zurn logo. On the other hand when it came to the elevators, it is not very common to see a Thyssenkrupp Aurora elevator that is a traction.
Seeing everything u said in the description, I don't really blame you. Also, the hotel is kinda nice actually, vintage with some modern bits. Overall? It's a 7.5 out of 10 from my personal point of view. Another thing I wanna mention, not all modern hotels are bad and generic. Some modern hotels are also good nowadays in their own ways. It may even attract nice elevators too. Off-topic? I ran into something unusual on UA-cam today. Hitachi elevators at this new hotel in Wan Chai district of Hong Kong called Hopewell Hotel. They may be modern 2024 installs, but actually have mechanical bell chimes (not even kidding)
Very nice historic hotel. I do agree with you regarding the elevators. They could've just kept the old elevators, the new elevators behind the old looks a little weird.
I guess… but on the other hand, seeing Thyssenkrupp traction elevators with Aurora fixtures are very uncommon to find. And I can see why these might need another mod in the future because of the condition of those elevators.

Bro, they should’ve just kept the the Otis ones
They couldn't with the hotel owners at the time the building was renovated. Really cheap owners.
Auroras are cheap. Maybe some Otis would have held up
