I just use my glass lid to keep food in the fridge with the pot. And yes! Extra pot liners are a must!

Bless u. My daughter and I aren’t the best of friends but one of the precious things that bring us together is trying new things with the instant pot. Never knew we can make a potato salad or eggs. I’d get your book but she’s vegan and I don’t eat pork. 🙏🏾

Love your cook book! I like that it is for single portions as I am a single woman. Can’t wait to try all of the recipes! The pancake bites are terrific! Thank you!💜

I bought the steamer basket you recommended last year and have used it SOOO much. Thanks for the recommendation. The dual set of steamer baskets from IP look like they'd really come in handy for dual cooking.
I also purchased the actual Instant Pot silicone lid and it fits tight enough for NO spills. I'd trust it, even with soup in the container.

Lisa, I use my Instapot at least once a day and I'd add your very sturdy silicone spatulas (some brands are flimsy) for mixing and scraping down the sides during cooking with the saute setting. Great video for new IP users - You rock, Woman! ❤

Agree that you don't need many. I also use my silicon lid and second liner all the time. What I've learnt I need now is the steamer basket because I always make my own broth and draining it is a challenge. I got fooled by the egg trivet! Bought it and have not even used it once.

My husband hated the red sling so when we were cleaning out cabinets and getting rid of things, he threw it into the Get Rid of It Box. I took it and cut off the handles. It's now the best trivet we've ever owned and even my husband loves it!

I make rice all the time I only lose maybe 5-10 pieces of rice and don’t use anything to drain it. But I thought of getting one.

Lisa, my go to accessories have been the steamer baskets, silicon trivet woth handles & pot-in-pot pans. For weekend fun I also have silicon bite molds (with lids) & springform pan for cheesecake or any cake really. Let's not forget the ever popular meat masher ♡♡♡ Becwell.

Hi. You have mentioned a few times that the silicone gasket has an odor to it. I put mine into a ziplock bag and dumped a cup of baking soda into it. It doesn’t remove all of the odor but it sure helps.
I have been using the same baking soda for a couple of months and it seems to still be doing the job. 😊

Try her recipes for Loaded Potato Soup (very tasty) and her Pulled Pork (has a couple & all are good). And if you get a few good results, this tool won't seem so daunting. Happy Cooking!

Don't listen to the haters. It's SO easy. I don't even boil eggs in the stove anymore. 😆 seriously. I only touch my stove for fried eggs. Everything else is cooked in my instant pot.
I can literally brine my own corned beef in the pot in the fridge, rinse and cook it in one pot.
I got the insant pot duo, so it even bakes and air fries.
I like to buy preseasoned pork loins and put them on air fry for 30 minutes.
Literally open package, plop in and in 30 minutes perfectly done loins braised to perfection.

The only reason I don’t buy extra liners is I have no place to put them. Wish they stacked somehow. Thanks for your video!

Put your silicon lids out in the direct sunlight for a couple of hours and they come back completely odor free.

....I got the stackable steamer pans inserts.....they are each the same height,,,what I really want is a pair of pans where as the bottom pan would only be about 1 and a half inches tall..to catch grease from the upper pan....then a upper pan that is as tall as is usable for the six quart....with holes in the bottom of upper pan.....allowing me to cook stuffed peppers and meatloaf....with the grease draining away from the food......dos anyone know of any stackable steamer pans similar to this please message me
