Alright, so we've got: 1. What's your motivation? 2. What are your greatest challenges? 3. How X made them feel? 4. What happens if you fail? 5. What is your biggest fear? Now my question is, how do those fit into Intro, conflict, climax, and resolution from this video: ua-cam.com/video/Vwk1hCr3gUk/v-deo.html. I would say: Intro: what's your motivation Conflict: what are your greatest challenges? How X made them feel? Climax: what happens if you fail? What is your biggest fear? (these don't feel like resolutions) Resolution: .... not sure what fits into that section - maybe a what have you learned? what is next? Curious to hear your thoughts - again, amazing work. Fantastic information on your channel!
Don’t think of it like that it’s not necessarily linear. The interview questions from that video we’re supposed bring out emotion of your subject. The structure of your documentary of Intro, conflict, Climax and Resolution should have those questions sprinkled in depending on the emotion that your trying to convey in a particular section.
Remember that every Documentary is different I think the most important thing to do is to make sure that you keep things interesting by being dynamic in your storytelling. Don’t hang on a section too long. Don’t hang on to a feeling too long and make sure that if you have verite footage you mix it in with interview footage and vice versa.
@@Alexzarfatifilms appreciate that. I sent you a message regarding vintage glass on the other video. Happy to chat about anything regarding that as well
Such a great channel! I'm binge-watching your videos, in 2025 I want to focus 100% on documentaries and watching you has opened my mind to that! Thanks
Love this one bro. Awesome advice and insight. Interviewing is a skill that's very hard to get better at - for me anyway. Advice like this is golden. This is going in my "most valuable lessons" YT playlist for sure lol. Also, just a really entertaining and engaging video! Thanks!
@@Alexzarfatifilms for me it’s mainly getting tips on how other people do their work. As I also work full-time making videos, I know how I do things and how things can be done, but I like to see other views and angles on how those things can be done in a different way ✌️
thanks for these important questions bro. Now I'm taking documentary about filmmaking. particularly about post production process on audio. I've already met 3 persons and took Interview. But it didn't go well. Because They were shy to speak in front of camera. But they have a wide knowledge about their department. can you help me to solve is problem bro. Because I need to interview more than 5 persons.
