Im really happy with the changes they brought to Grohk and Evie. Grohk looks much more like a thug and someone who can fight now, not like some weird lost troll who just wants to grow plants in his garden but got caught in the fight and just went like "ok, i got my holy totem and i'll just run around and try to help". Evie back then really looked like an annoying brat who watched Frozen more than 10 times and turns into an Elsa wannabe riding on a chilly stick. But the portrait itself made her look... imma say it now... prettier and more likeable.

Yes evie and grohk look good now but my favorites are Lian, Sha Lin and skye's portraits
I simply LOVED Grohk's old dumbo look and its fitting voicelines. The new one just feels like more like your generic ork character.

All the new portraits look interesting but they seem less refined and blurred around the edges.

Although I DO like the new animation STYLE of the current ones, the older versions were more crispy
Not all of them are crispy
Adrix you're right, not all of the old ones are crispy, but the new ones are ALWAYS less crispy than their older counterparts!!!!
Most likely the new ones were created with a paint software for AMAZING quality of visual animation STYLE but the old ones were most likely made with a modeling or pure basic Animation base software and so some didn't turn out crispy, but they risked animation for crispy lines, and when some turned out now crispy, they redid them, then redid all of them

Can you notice the theme? half of the revamps reverse the face, change the background and add better shadowing, or change the background and just add better shadowing

Viktor didn't change anything, only a bit the shading and the background from white to dark blue, I'm not talking about his ob70 rework but about the transition from ob61 to ob62.

Everyone had an improvement (even some were just zoomed out or in) except... ying. As a ying main i loved the old picture, she was cuter and looked more happy but the new ying picture looks like shes saying, im giving you my photo out of pity. And her noseline looks way to chizeled than before, i still like ying but i really prefer the old photo.
