This is an extremely useful video for those of us that struggle with collecting dark elixir quickly One strategy I felt deserved a mention was the mass Baby Dragons with lightning at TH9-TH11
When I do farming attacks for dark elixir at Town Hall 9 I ideally do all baby dragons with the spells being 9 lightning to take out air defense I use an Electro Dragon and a freeze in cc to clean up
wow thanks dude. im at th9, and i used the lolinion strat and its AMAZING. i used a training potion and by the time it had finished, i had gained over 4 million gold, not a ton of elixir, BUT I GOT 15-20 THOUSAND DARK ELIXIR!!! this is the best farming strat ever thank you so much i needed this.
I’m a current th7, and I typically use a bunch of goblins, some archers to kill the king/cc, and giants and wall breakers, with heals. Obviously, this is decently expensive elixir wise, but I’ve made enough dark to get my king from 1 to 5 in a day and a half. I have also attacked a few rushed th9 dead bases, and I did pretty decent. I am also going for some trophies and gold/elixir, but I recommend this strat

The thing is, just by farming for gold and elixir with sneaky goblins while trying to town hall snipe with jump spells, I gain so much dark elixir that I'm pretty much always full on dark elixir.
Please try the goblin knife It Is so fun Tip for th9: you only Need 80 goblins for the goblinknife, if you do not mind using more elixir use 10 baby dragons for the dirlls, then deploy 6 giants and 5 wallbrakers so even if they die they Will break the wall, then deploy the Jump spell, use three fingers to deply the goblins, deploy the heal near the splash and the rage right on top of the dark elixir storage. Now you have three freeze spells to use on the wizard, the mortars or, if there are not any nearby, on the x-bows, the Queen or the telsa farm Hope this was helpful i love this srtategy It Is making my playthrough so much Better and enjoyable
I use baby dragons at th10 and th11 to farm dark elixir in crystal league. You can find dead bases with full drills on the outside. I take 9 lightning to take out 3 air defenses (usually the ones that are protecting the DE drills) and one rage. I only use the rage if I can get to the center of the base and take out the townhall and/or DE storage. If you have a path to the core, just send 5 or 6 baby drags and rage them up. Works for me. I prefer this over miners because I can get resources that are all around the base.
But i am in Titan 2 (TH11) My Dark elixir storage remains always full because of excessive loot... I usually use Hybrid because it's brilliant for farming as well as trophy pushing 🤗🤗

JUDO! You missed the best strategy that I like to use in th 10 or under (you could use in 11 if you needed to it’s just not as good) drags with two baby drags use baby drags to help funnel drags to center of base (hero’s not needed) and use 9 zaps on air defense (8 on air defense and 1 for inferno but you can use a freeze instead) where ever there are issues in the base and you’re struggling to get through use you’re last spell slots on a rage (this is why i do it in th 10) Try this out it’s a strong attack and a great attack for farming!
If you don't use Electro Dragons at th12 then what else is a good alternate farming army? Also what is the best defensive th9 base for trophy pushing? I'm a big fan of your videos @JudoSloth.
if you're having trouble getting your goblins to stay alive at the center when using goblin knife at th9 then use a heal spell/ try to use giants or freeze on wizard towers and mortars
I loved barch because of its low cost and queen walk interested me as a th9, so I just mixed both of them in a single army xD. So, I've been using queen charge barch strategy (that's what I call it) from th9 till my current th10. I can simply queen charge to full storages, and barch will take care of the collectors. And the best part, it is more cheaper than miners and works always. Also, the league we're in matters with our th lvl. Nice informative video Judo ;) Regards, have a great day ahead :)
Judo, I have a query: If you are charged with a loot penalty after upgrading your town hall, can you redeem it by finishing those upgrades that were left out? Or will you be stuck with that penalty until you upgrade your town hall again finishing all upgrades?
Super gobs with super wallbreakers are by far the best nowadays if you are an active player. Even with the 50k DE cost every 3 days, it is so efficient that its still better than any other attacks. For most attacks were I get around 5k DE (at TH13), it only takes less than 30 housing space. And you can easily snipe town halls.

Getting the loot is not the problem, the upgrade times are, it takes 4 days to upgrade 1 lvl of queen at lvl 20, so ots quite brutal
