Listen to this beautiful music, all full of smiles and delight. Troy is playing better than any musician on the planet these days. This clip is the greatest thing that's ever been broadcast. I work at a Napa Valley winery and could ask the next 10,000 people "who is Troy MacGillivray?" and draw blanks. Tell the world, shout it out, pass it on, here is a musician for the ages who can get the world smiling and dancing. Troy the Effortless. Find these tunes on his Cd "Live at the Music Room." Rubio

I have had the pleasure of studying at a summer music school with this fine Cape Breton musician. He is also a very pleasant young man. Wish him all the best.

Troy is one of the very best maritimes fiddlers -- and indeed he is from the "mainland" of Nova Scotia land mass -- not Cape Breton island. But I suggest the best time and place to see him perform is to take your vacation during the Celtic Colours Festival on the Cape in October. I agree not enough of us here in the USA know about Troy! SMILE.

I think Troy almost smiled at the end. Outstanding fiddler, but such a blank expression. I assume he's smiling on the inside.

Agree. Brilliant fiddler. Appalling lack of balance with the piano. Sack the sound engineer !
