After the screen replacement, my proximity sensor stopped working. All the other sensors (ambient light etc.) are still working, only that one is faulty. Do you by chance have an idea why?

check the proximity switch tape on the outside of the housing to see if it works. if proximity does not work, replace the tape. You can also replace the proximity you need to have a spare part or other tape (soldering required) How will it work check if the distance between the Digitizer and Proximity is the same as in the original part and if nothing covers

3:30 - the moment all of this went wrong for me. The tape pulled half of the connector off of one and multiple pins from another. 😔😔😔

You can always repair broken elements or connectors on the mainboard ;)
