I use Welt with my Acheron still to this day and the occasional Himeko in PF
Bailu is good for other contents that doesn't need you to finish the fight as much as possible like simulated Universe where you can put 2 sustains for the survivability of it. But other than that if you don't have the meta healers she's just a viable replacement for those contents. I'd chose her over that abomination Yanqing. And I'll always accept loosing 50/50 to a Bronya or Himeko.
She works so long as you aren't facing much Debuffs or CC.

@@wswann34 E2 Lynx nearly powercrept her with an ult that group-cleanses and applies a healing status that negates 1 cc debuff for 2 turns (3 at a6).
For new players until you get something better, sure. Never use jades on it though lol
Gepard is still a good shielder for teams that dorsnt use advanced forward..
Bronya is still one of the top hypercarry support, her only downside is sp negative..
Himeko is still great in PF against breaking enemies..
Yanqing while lacking, he still is the easiest character besides Jingliu that easily build for crit, his downside is shielder..
Clara is still good, decent on pf..
Welt is still one of the best character that can delay the enemies whenever we want, and in the future debuff tram may see the light again..
Bailu is great against fast enemies..
At least none of them are Arlan.. I love his character but damn his playstyle is so hard..
Clara is still clearing MoC and PF with respectable scores. AS is a different beast, though, as it completely counters her strengths. Bosses that don't attack frequently enough, with high resistances unless broken... If you bring Clara to AS you have nobody but yourself to blame for the disappointment you are about to experience.
Bronya's better then Sparkle for hypercarries that don't need a ton of skill points. Jingliu comes to mind.
i still use bailu i know she doesn't have cleanse but her heal is still good and she the only one who have a revive
Realistically, only bronya and himeko have value now. Everyone else suck if you want to do endgame stuff

My gepard still helps me full clear all end game content. I haven’t had to pull for a limited sustain yet, so I’m able to pull more harmony and dps.
I got Bailu in the beginning, now she's E1S1 and still my main healer after 9 months (I lost the 50/50 on all limited healers/sustains). If there is no heavy CC/DOT, she sustains my team even in MOC12 without breaking a sweat. Now I am guaranteed to get Lingsha so Bailu can finally relax more, but she will remain the default healer of my Jingliu team for lore reasons
for me gepard is a good unit for defense
Especially for Acheron owners (with the burn lightcone ofc)
Himeko & Clara have been good to me for the past couple months. Especially Clara with Yunli’s sig, she’s been pulling her weight
People need to stop hating on bailu like she’s good 😢
I use himeko as my budget firefly since superbreak came out she clears just fine and is a pf monster too yanqing was my first 5 star dps so he has a special place in my heart even tho he is horrible right now 😂
I think himeko is currently a great character due to break meta as well as being good in pf im currently upgrading lots of my characters to get the final tickets for her!
Funny how Himeko is the best standard character to get now, Bronya only value is if you dont wanna pull the 3 limited broken harmony chracters who are both more universal and sp positive. I genuinely dont think Bronya is worth it at all.
E0S0 bronya isn't all that fr. Until u get her to E1S1, she runs thru skill points
My E2S1 Bronya has finally found some use with Feixiao. I love the duo so much :)
And before you mention Robin, no, I don't have her and I don't care about getting her.

@@jilvermazariegos E2 Bronya and HM7 can get my Feixiao to 161 speed with attack boots, and Bronya can double the turns.
-1 Sparkle builds are usually more scuffed because of the lower AA.
Part of the reason why I'm using her is that Sparkle can fit in more teams. Bronya isn't on high demand, specially with my roster (Clara, IL, Acheron, Ratio/Topaz, Xueyi...).
I hope they will begin to add some of the limited 5* to standard I have everyone on standard
So long as they do it faster (and more frequently) than Genshin, most people would be happy.
More than 200 pulls... I got 1 Gepard, 1 Himeko, 1 Bronya's LC and finally 1 Feixiao 🙂🙃🙂 I'm cursed in this banner
I use only Brony, her lc (on her and tingyam) cuz i got 2 and bailu's lc on my huohuo for my dot mommies.
I was unlucky enough to get a single bronya just when i hitted the 300 pulls and that happened right when sparkle released lol , i felt so bad since i have been waiting so long to get bronya just when she was changed and fell off, back then i also tried to get sparkle too ,but couldn't, then i benched bronya ,but at one point not too long ago, an idea pop out ,i realized i could implement her in my Argenti hyper and i did it and i cleared PF fully for the first time thx to her in my Argenti team and i am very happy using her with him now 😊
Even if she is getting worse i still find great usage of her and that makes me happy ❤
My take on these: Bronya, Himeko, Clara still great. We have seen upgraded versions of some of these characters in the form of Sparkle and Yunli so prob a Himeko replacement is coming. But if these are the replacements and they are still actively used then I feel like these will age well.
Welt: Issue with him I think he does sth noone really does but there is not really a support from hoyo for this playstyle. He may actually surprisingly age well no pun intended for later.
Gepard: Sadly completely gapped by Aventurine.
Bailu: I feel like she gets way better with eidolons but currently healers bring wway more to the table other than healing.
Yanqing: I don't have him so no idea but from just the numbers he prob got outclassed by every single limited dps unit.
bronya's lightcone is something i want so badddd i don't have many harmony lightcone but have bronya E1, robin, sparkle and all the harmony 4 stars
The Basic/Standard Banner needs an overhaul. A few characters added would be a good start. I feel characters like Kefka, Seela, and the ones we got early in the game's life span should be in this. That way they can have less reruns for those characters. Opening up ones players want to see more in these spots.
People that summoned for them would be pissed tho. Hell, they’re rerunning Kafka right now.
Bronya Himeko and Clara Have the Long term value in the Game.
Gepard and Bailu are Redudant if you already have Aventurine/Other limited sustains/ with a minimum to this rule being if you have Gallagher.
Welt is a madman when it comes to CC Delay and can even deal some good DPS himself, It's just CC Delay's really only relevant in SU, it's expansions, and DU, and you don't really need welt for Imaingary Coverage ever since the Free Ratio and now Hunt March have been in the game. Maybe if CC delay becomes Relevant in Endgame will welt have good value.
Yanqing's Easy to build, but you do need a shielder to negate his downsides and if you can negate his downsides it's better to use any other unit.
I use Gepard's light cone on Fu Xuan, It's just super nice.
Do not buy those standards LC sig they are not worth 30 pull you should just wait till you pull them when you have silver tickets

despite her always chugging coffee my Himeko has truly aged like the finest of wine (E3 now)
New character is indeed affecting them but not directly, the direct one is environment. Beefier enemies, new standard scaling multiplier, new more interactive playstyles, new support or relic for new character that doesn't support old char also make them more isolated. Because its a pve game, if old char still clears they're still worth but when they alr have hard time clearing thats when they're fall.
Clara, Himeko, Bronya still have lots of appearances in end game stages for cheese clear, they're good.
Welt role is too niche, ppl prefer debuffer which amplify dmg or just use sustain.
Bailu Gepard, sustains are evolved into utility sustain or dmg sustain lately (if your main team is strong sustain is kinda whatever could even run sustainless team).
Yanqing, his kit is fun but he has low multiplier, low duration buff and hard to keep it up and no new relic support for him (maybe if some Skill-Ult relic dropped in future).
In terms of like usability (in all contents available) I would rate them like
1. Bronya
2. Himeko
3. Gepard
4. Clara
5. Bailu
6. Yanqing
Bronya is still a great support, BiS in some comps still. Himeko purely because of the ease of use in PF, Himeko+Herta comps easily get 40k on one side. Gepard is a great sustain but with Aventurine now…kinda facing redundancy, Clara is also facing redundancy with Yunli.. Bailu has a lot of competition, she still has the best burst healing but the lack of cleanse is holding her back given the current meta we have… Yanqing is…well… e5s2. That’s all i gotta say.
Yes, because overtime, everyone will naturally get them all to E6, and even if theyre only standard characters, at E6 theyre most certainly viable for use
I'm at e5 on welt and Himeko already. lol ironically would feel great to miss 50/50 to e6 one of them.
I hope someday they will include Standard Light Cones in the 5* selector. Yeah, they're in the starlight shop but I prefer to exchange it for Star Rail Special Pass.
In terms of value, Himeko right now is the best standard character banner. She's so versatile; she can be in FUA team, Super Break Team (which I absolutely love) and in PF team. She's the reason (and Herta) that I never consider getting 5* Limited Erudition character. With Super Break, I 3* the last and current Apocalyptic Shadow.
I've honestly been really lucky with standard banner characters.
My first 5 stars were Bronya from the beginner banner, then E1 Clara between standard and a lost 50/50. I've got 2 more Claras and Bronyas, a Himeko, 2 Gepard LC, a Bronya LC and a Bailu LC since.
I also picked Clara for the 300 pulls because I still use her in endgame, leaving me with an E4 Clara, E2S1 Bronya, S1 Himeko and S2 MoV on Aventurine.
I recently found some use for Bronya with Feixiao (no Robin), so I use everything listed besides Bailu's LC to this day.
Obligatory "day 1 player" and "F2P, BTW."
For me the only standard i still use is my e4 s1 Bronya, plus she works pretty good now on feixao team with her e4 if you dont have robin.
On the contrary I started building Janqing. He's e2. For now building is on pause, but I really wanna try him in fua, maybe against ice weak enemies, for fun. Himeko works well in pair with my other units like Herta/Firefly and Blade. I don't use Bronya at all even though she was my pick from 300. Welt is also on a shelf, maybe after getting his e2 I dust him off. Though when RM'd only released I ran both of them as a pseudo sustain. Gepard's e1. I haven't used him once.
i still use 2 standard 5* characters on my main acc himeko is e3 and she's crazy in pure fiction i also use her as a firefly subsititute if i absolutely need a fire break dps so mostly pure fiction but i'll use her outside it if needed and bronya (e1s1) bc i have jingliu i used my 300 standard pulls on welt and i'm pretty sad that idk what to do with him i don't need an imaginary dps bc i have dhil and ratio ofc welt can be ratio's debuffer but ratio isn't built bc i only claimed him since he was free and i don't have any characters built for him on top of that i have 2 limited 5* sustains already (fu xuan and huohuo) so my bailu is useless too at least gepard can be useful wherever i need a shielder specifically but i don't have him and i also don't have aventurine so yanqing is useless too (well my jingliu def put the nail in the coffin on that one) and i don't like clara's playstyle tbh it's more satisfying with yunli but still not smth i want to play around with tbh if i had known how things would turn out i'd have gone for a himeko eidolon on my 300 pulls and ofc my current lineups with standard 5* are jingliu, bronya, ruan mei, huohuo and himeko, herta, ruan mei, fu xuan (ruan mei gets swapped out for asta if the other team needs her bc i don't have robin) aside from these teams i rarely use characters who aren't limited 5* esp my main teams ofc (side note my dot team is complete until they release another dot unit i finally have black swan and i'm going all in on upgrading kafka now hoping for e1s1 so far i got s1 on her)
Btw if anyone got Clara b4 300 get her E1 it changes everything for her

I lack Euradition so I went for Himeko. I need 3 more Euradition units for pure fiction and I’m set.
i’m only building yanqing because he wants to be E5😢 the ghetto

The only standard banner unit I have yet to get is Yanqing. Would like to get him him at some point, he seems like a fun character to build. I have both Gepard and Aventurine, so all I'd have to really worry about is his FUA not procing.
I've had a lot of issues getting his FUA to proc on anything that isn't his ult, much to my annoyance trying to build him for FUA.
Short answer: No, if you already have a developed account
Long answer: Also, not really, as you should only be spending the regular banner tickets and all other resources on the limited banner of the team you want since the standard banner really only has bronya. Especially with all the free units you get now.
My e1 s1 bronya is 10 across the board, she's been incredibly useful. Still no gepard, lost my e1 feixiao to an e1 yanqing tho, still haven't recovered, at least it was only 8 pity i guess.
