I don't know if it's traditional mental illness. The mother mentioned he'd been in an accident in 2010 and had a metal plate in his head, as well as him self medicating so it's very likely what you're seeing is the results of TBI mixed with long term drug use. TBI can change someone into an entirely different person on its own, without the help of any substances. Add those in though and iy just magnifies it. Some get periods of extreme mood swings, anger and aggression which can be followed by deep depression or even just going back to normal, wondering why everyone is so upset. And it doesn't heal. In fact, the symptoms of a TBI may not even show up for a couple of years but once they do, can present themselves at any level. Some might stay relatively mild with only a few episodes for years, a decade or so even, while others may progress quickly and have these periods more often. But generally, it will get worse over time and can be difficult to treat because unlike traditional mental illness, it's caused by the actual damage to the brain instead of just needing to balance some hormones/other brain chemistry or uncross some wires somewhere.

The third guy; this is a good warning at what happens when you don’t address childhood trauma early and live by your childhood resentment. Take him as motivation to self reflect, heal your inner child, and stop the cycle of abuse.
Some men should NEVER take their shirts off. And my father had COPD for nearly 20 years. He never swore, snapped at his mother (or us), nor was he arrested for it. Sometimes an a**hole is just an a**hole.
In Australia, the cops press charges on your behalf , whether you like it or not. My ex was being verbally and psychologically abusive and i was falling apart. Someone we knew witnessed all of this and called the cops ( he's known to police, drug history, and petty crime) and they came over and demanded that i hand over my phone. Two of them scrolled through messages from him to me, and then rang their supervisor. They then informed me they were taking a Domestic violence order out on him, whether i liked it or not. They pressed charges on him, and it went to court. There is now a DVO for 5 years in place, and guess what, he blames me, tells his friends that I'M the abuser, and that I'M spiteful. All I've ever wanted was just to get along for the sake of our 9 year old boy. Ive put up with him steamrolling over my boundaries, verbal abuse and coercive tactics. Yet he STILL says its all me, that I'm the problem and i need psychiatric help. ! The gaslighting from him just about drove me to despair. Funnily enough, i have a boyfriend now who says I'm none of those awful things my ex says about me. ..Im glad the cops intervened. I must admit i was nervous at first that he could snap and physically hurt me, but thankfully he hasn't. Having a 6 ft 3 boyfriend now who he knows could whop his 5ft 9 arse helps. Its been 10 months of peace and quiet, no more constant demands, verbal abuse, horrible text messages telling me what a shitty person i am, etc etc. Im grateful to the Queensland Police, the person who called them, and my big, strong tall, gentle, kind boyfriend.
Fellow Queenslander here and I hope that you continue to be one of the lucky ones. Stay safe and hold your little one close. Please don’t let your guard down where he’s concerned. ❤
Ever considered that being single for a breather may be the best thing for you? You quickly brought up the new guy like you need a man in your life to validate you and your safety. Get counseling, save your kid from the drama and find yourself.
The first case show how DV tend to be reluctant to even be seen as resisting their abuser! She was so afraid of him thinking she snitched on him and kept saying "its okay" to calm his suspicions! I don't blame her, he looks terrifying and could easily overpower her
Unfortunately, in the UK the statistics are it takes 4 separate incidents before the woman will press charges. Our laws have changed so that the police will prosecute independent of the victim. They know victims are conditioned like the first lady on here.
Much easier to say this than to actually accomplish it and to accomplish it successfully without drawing another beating. They aren't going to stop abusing you because you tried to leave. That actually increases the danger exponentially.
The first guy sounded just like my ex. Or rather the girlfriend sounded exactly like me…. “ it will be so bad for me if he doesn’t know, I didn’t say anything.” The amount of times I’ve covered him when the cops came knocking to help me … she is absolutely being abused and I really hope that they keep him locked up
The 3rd guy was at least 52 weeks Pregnant and looked liked the new Octomom. What a Bum... and the Officer was right. Move out your Mom's house if you don't like it.
He’s a loser. Treating his mother like that is despicable. Elder abuse. They should take him in for that. If he acts like that with the police, how is he treating his mother when no one is looking?
the 2nd guy, not to disregard what he did at all, was a bit sad to watch. He got in an accident, has a plate in his head, and is unable to properly medicate himself so he turns to self medicating. I dont see him as a "bad guy" but a guy who does bad things. He needs proper medical attention and to be in a ward to help him with his issues.
My brother was like the 3rd gobshite. He verbally abused my mother whenever he was kicked out of his various homes. One time he ordered her out of her own home.luckily she had keys to my house ans stayed there for the weekend. I was on holiday at the time. He is still an alcoholic today. Just out of rehab to the 22th time and went straight back on booze... lost cause
Love the officer blocking mom's door...my 30 year old son needed 3 weeks respite at my house...ended being 7 months. I finally got him evicted. I pray he gets his life together.😢
I hope the first lady manages to escape that man. No human being deserves to be treated like less than human. Kinda wish the other person involved in an ab*sive relationship wasn’t allowed to post bond for their abuser.
As someone who got abused+ manipulated by my stepfather , and seen my mother get abused by him aswell for about 4+ years , this means alot to me , n it makes me happy seeing other victims getting justice since I never rlly did . To all the victims of abuse , harm , s/a , etc . You did not deserve it , and did nothing wrong , mls , i hope you all feel better n have a wonderful life . You r loved n nothing is wrong with you , It is NOT your fault . 💞💞
Thank you for your kindness 🙏 I hope you're feeling safe now and healing. I'm 42 and struggling a lot with depression, anxiety and C-PTSD. That's why your comment means a lot to me ❤
The first incident is terrifying. He’s telling her not to say anything right in front of the cops. And pleading with him that she didn’t say anything and that she loves him. He’ll get out and she knows what’s coming. She needs a women’s shelter and help get her out of this. The drunk tub needs to get kicked out. Mom keeps the dog. He’s a good boy.
That first guy really said “you ain’t talking to me like that!” after berating the police and threatening to beat their asses and to open the door so he can do it 😂 he’s such an incompetent child 😂
He’s a danger to the woman in his life. He may behave like a child with the cops around, but there’s no mistaking that he’s a vicious and violent man with her. She was absolutely terrified.
Abused women are still not taken seriously, or too scared of their abusers to come forward about. Victims of abuse feel ashamed, in denial, threatened, etc. The first douche knows this very well. "Ask her, she'll tell ya!" He KNOWS EXACTLY the poor girl will not actually "tell ya". "It's between me and her". Oh, sure. Thanks for this video❤
Définitively would have asked when the baby was due! A grown ass man living in his mother's house. What a waste of space! And the last guy keeps screaming for his "mama" yet hits his girlfriend. BLAME HIS MOTHER!
@@420bluntly_it's very possible he learned his behavior from his parents, but pointing the finger at her without reasonable proof won't help the victim and we know explicitly that the guy is guilty and shitty
The first guy, you know once he gets out of jail, he’s going to blame it all on her and beat the crap out of her again. She needs to-get away from him before he ends up killing her. His ego is enormous. She needs to get out of that relationship. 😢
My wife got lucky when she got me. I've never hit her, she doesn't have to work but does have a little job. We don't fight and she's a blessing to me as well. This year will be 24 years married. There's some good guys out there but I think it's scarce.
Being a whole father and begging your mommy to come get you... while telling the cops it's your girl's fault because she was mad that you wanted to leave... but you live together and are accusing her of trying to keep you away from the child... but you also apparently feel comfortable hitting her in front of children... but you also want her to give you a ride to your mom's house. This guy is a piece of work
Then he mad bc she didn't want to give him none. Like we can say no plus the baby don't seem to be that old so she's not in the mood. Then how are you going to ask her to drive you and she's had drinks. Then the nerve to try and take her car. She needs to get rid of that bum. Still lives with momma, has no car, and cries like a baby. I'm a bit surprised the 13 yr old didn't jump the guy when he hit his momma. Most boys do that, they defend their moms. I'm glad he didn't bc he likely would have gotten hit to.
I have a theory that first bloke had done this before. Given how he acted in response and claiming he wouldn't be 'charged' and knows that he will get out of it gives some kind of indication that he knows how this works and he's done this before. Piece of garbage.
What a line. " I want an ambulance" why? "Cause you're an idiot." Old Mike was looking out for the officer getting medical help enroute befor delivering thst sick burn 😂😂
my heart goes out to every victim of DV especially the women as it hits close to home for me. please know there is help out there and that you don’t gotta stay with these losers
It's not that they choose not to do anything, it's because they are conditioned not to do anything, and are too scared to do anything. If you can hear what you think is abuse happening please call the police. In the UK the police will act without the abused having to press charges.
He was relatively fit, with a beer belly built over like 20 consistent years. It’s fascinating, he needs to be in a lab, or on posters for why not to do what he does.
If I understand correctly from the testimony of Josh's mother, he had had an accident and had a metal plate implanted into his frontotemporal lobe area. The frontotemporal lobe is in charge for impulse control, emotional balance, agression, etc. Joshua's case was definitely NOT hanfled professionally - he has a legit severe neuropsychological condition. He needs access to proper healthcare. He was jaiiled instead. I mean he *literally* has a serious medical history affecting his brain. America is a weird place. Poor people - even if sick - have no chance to receive medical treatment because hEaLtH cArE iS nOt FoR fREe! 🦅🇺🇲 hErE iN tHe LaNd oF tHe FrEe wE dOn'T dO _sOcIaLiSm_ (even though we have literally zero idea what that term even means...😅) but it's fine that the umderpaid&overworked cops have to deal with EVERYTHING that shouldn't be their task. And the PRIVATE companies that run the prisons literally BATHE in money because the detention centers are full of mentally ill, or even physically ill (e.g. Joshua)* and that's absolutely alright. 🙄 I mean.... Josh clearly had ZERO idea of what he was doing. None. Once again: he literally had a metal plate put in his brain after a previous accident. Who in their right mind would jump to the conclusion "Let's hit him with multiple criminal charges with no further treatment, no rehabilitative hospital care, or anything" 💪🏼 Also, I find it odd that the narrator failed to address the issue of the literal f.cking metal plate in Joshua's head. 😒
Those poor mothers raised their children for so much years and they dedicated their heart for what ? Such inhumane children that never grew up . Instead of being a pillar for their family they treat their parents in such horrendous way
I know a guy who had a complete breakdown and after the doctors/paramedics gave him some drug to calm him down and get him under control. After he was all done with that whole thing he asked they what they gave him and he spent so long looking for it and got addicted to it, badly. Like very badly. It was such a sad thing to see someone you know go through. He was a nice dude but whatever it was they gave him made him a zombie and he just made it his life’s goal to get high off it every day.
37:43 yup! he’s 100% the issue not his elderly mother 🤬 I’m convinced America needs to open back up at least 1 large mental hospital per state! I’d gladly pay taxes for that to happen 💯 and get EMT’s trained in mental health and addiction so the cops CAN focus on other stuff 🤷🏻♀️

The first case is so sad. Her screaming to free him tells you how much she fears him when he’s angry at her :((
The third guy; this is a good warning at what happens when you don’t address childhood trauma early and live by your childhood resentment. Take him as motivation to self reflect, heal your inner child, and stop the cycle of abuse.
Criminals waste so much time, money, and energy
True
I think Officers give them way too much latitude, and the Courts refuse to hold these criminals accountable.
Some men should NEVER take their shirts off. And my father had COPD for nearly 20 years. He never swore, snapped at his mother (or us), nor was he arrested for it. Sometimes an a**hole is just an a**hole.
🕳️

No matter what gender you are, you should ALWAYS seek help from others if youre in an abusive relationship.
Good point
Unfortunately, in the UK the statistics are it takes 4 separate incidents before the woman will press charges. Our laws have changed so that the police will prosecute independent of the victim. They know victims are conditioned like the first lady on here.
@@helenvertannes691 Yeah, it's a sad fact but true unfortunately. Glad that it was changed though to protect more people
No one's out to help you. I called the pigs once for help. They threatened to toss us both in jail if we didn't "stop fighting".
“ it will be so bad for me if he doesn’t know, I didn’t say anything.”
The amount of times I’ve covered him when the cops came knocking to help me … she is absolutely being abused and I really hope that they keep him locked up
It’s so disturbing what alcohol does to some ppl.
@@michellerizzitano1590 Exactly!

“I’m military.”
“Congratulations. I was too. What branch?”
“Reserves.”

Yeh I snortlol'd when that one was said.
😂😂😂This comment is highly underrated😂😂
I was like no branch of the military would allow his hair to look like that or have facial hair like that
The cops dealing with the belligerent guy who looked 40 months pregnant showed amazing patience and restraint.
40 months😭🤚
the 2nd guy, not to disregard what he did at all, was a bit sad to watch. He got in an accident, has a plate in his head, and is unable to properly medicate himself so he turns to self medicating. I dont see him as a "bad guy" but a guy who does bad things.
He needs proper medical attention and to be in a ward to help him with his issues.
He needs a lot of help
Doesn’t give him the right to harm his mother
@debwade3974 That's why I said at the start, "not to disregard what he did at all"
It is too bad that the state hospitals are closed. Jail is not going to help him,
Police officers are not able or willing to handle a mentally disturbed person it's sad how they treat them like criminals
My brother was like the 3rd gobshite. He verbally abused my mother whenever he was kicked out of his various homes. One time he ordered her out of her own home.luckily she had keys to my house ans stayed there for the weekend. I was on holiday at the time. He is still an alcoholic today. Just out of rehab to the 22th time and went straight back on booze... lost cause

I hope the first lady manages to escape that man. No human being deserves to be treated like less than human. Kinda wish the other person involved in an ab*sive relationship wasn’t allowed to post bond for their abuser.
Always that big sense of entitlement... Disgusting.

A adult child asking for his mother unbelievable
My son is in the military and he would be so ashamed of this man if he was under his command 🤦♀️
This man is not a respectful military soldier.
There are many, many abusive military men and women.
He was allegedly a mechanic in the reserves.
These abusers constantly wanting their Moms to bail them out and also living with their Moms and abusing their Moms is insane.
The first man makes me sick to my stomach. He lives to be a criminal and needs to be kept behind bars!

Oh, sure.

@@420bluntly_it's very possible he learned his behavior from his parents, but pointing the finger at her without reasonable proof won't help the victim and we know explicitly that the guy is guilty and shitty
Why?
The first guy, you know once he gets out of jail, he’s going to blame it all on her and beat the crap out of her again. She needs to-get away from him before he ends up killing her. His ego is enormous. She needs to get out of that relationship. 😢

How do police do this every day. Full credit to them
That woman is in heavy denial, even though she was shown the video evidence if him abusing his girlfriend.
This guy is a piece of work
I think I've screamed STFU 1,733 times. Grr...
Oh no you forgot that he said they were drinking, but mostly her and then you wanted her to give you a ride with your infant child in the back…..

These officers have my respect! Dealing with these offenders has to be exhausting!
I have a theory that first bloke had done this before. Given how he acted in response and claiming he wouldn't be 'charged' and knows that he will get out of it gives some kind of indication that he knows how this works and he's done this before.
Piece of garbage.

It's so terrible to know that many people don't even choose to do anything about the abuse. They just endure it and keep silent about it 😢
Very scary
Its more that they may be too scared to do anything about it. And not that they dont choose to.
It's not that they choose not to do anything, it's because they are conditioned not to do anything, and are too scared to do anything. If you can hear what you think is abuse happening please call the police. In the UK the police will act without the abused having to press charges.

Not gonna lie when the cop sarcastically said you talk to your mom that way? I bust out laughing.
He broke the cars window and then complains? This is a circus.
I have absolutely no sympathy for any man that abuses women children or animals
I mean.... Josh clearly had ZERO idea of what he was doing. None.
Once again: he literally had a metal plate put in his brain after a previous accident. Who in their right mind would jump to the conclusion "Let's hit him with multiple criminal charges with no further treatment, no rehabilitative hospital care, or anything" 💪🏼
Also, I find it odd that the narrator failed to address the issue of the literal f.cking metal plate in Joshua's head. 😒
All what happend was that josh was on something and wasnt aware of his actions. But it was funny to watch.
We will try to give even more details in all out future videos
Those poor mothers raised their children for so much years and they dedicated their heart for what ? Such inhumane children that never grew up . Instead of being a pillar for their family they treat their parents in such horrendous way

That second guy was most likely under the influence of a lot of heavy narcotics. No grown adult would act like that.
I don't think weed was the only thing he smoked
Honestly body cams are so important no law enforcement officer should leave the station without it
37:43 yup! he’s 100% the issue not his elderly mother 🤬 I’m convinced America needs to open back up at least 1 large mental hospital per state! I’d gladly pay taxes for that to happen 💯 and get EMT’s trained in mental health and addiction so the cops CAN focus on other stuff 🤷🏻♀️
