Vader putting his eye back into his head after it popped out still freaks me out
I'd like to find footage of that. Bet it was quite a sight
@@XBeatmymeatX1990 "Quite a sight." Good one! 😆
@@XBeatmymeatX1990 Just look up Big Van Vader vs Stan Hansen. It's likely the first video that pops up.
Was an insane moment looked real freaky
The Hardy Boys Vs. MnM ladder Match with Joey Mercury's Horrifying injury is something that will forever be etched in my mind.
Mankind taking all those chairshots at the 99 rumble and Sid breaking his leg.
Sids leg was hard to watch
I never found watching mankind getting hit that many times scary untill I was older.
@@pooldead7712 me too it was one thing as a kid but as an adult and I mean rock came hard with those shots plus his kids were front row it was bad
For real real
Both very scary moments
Rey Mysterio Vs The Great Khali on smackdown and Khali squishing his head still messes with me to this day 😂
Rey mysterious losing a eye ball is worse
Looking back rey sold that shit so we'll
@@baseballno3214 imagine if Khali squeezed head so hard his eye pops out 🤣🙈
@@wbcwinnipegbeltcollector yoooo😂😂😂
@@baseballno3214 that would be up there with the cobra bite and Undertaker foaming from the mouth during the mandible claw
Simon saying he wasn't even born when the snake bit Macho makes me feel damn old.
Dude is bald with greys in his beard. I was around 4 when that happened. We're ALL old.
@@labbaby189 Simon is 37 or 38. He was born in the mid 80s
@@labbaby189 I was 12
The first version of Doink the Clown was and still is a very unsettling character. Matt Bourne was spectacular.
The ironic part of Bubba Ray putting Mae Young through the table was even though it scared everyone watching, she gave him hell afterward for not doing it hard enough.
The Brood doing bloodbaths were horrifying to me as a kid.
Brood entrance music is still the best entrance music of all time for me. Just amazing.
.. are you ready…ready
I bought the WWF sountrack just for that track and DX's. They also had the undertaker theme with the demonic chanting that was really creepy 😈
Papa shango making warrior throw up scared me as a kid... I saw it front row at a house show
was it a handicap match vs the nasty boys
No Undertaker moments here? Big Boss Man being hanged? Paul Bearer being buried alive under cement?
That ECW barbed wire match between Sabu and Terry Funk was psychologically terrifying as a viewer. Those guys were getting thrown on and wrapped up in barbed wire and at one point Sabu arm got ripped open and he was trying to that tie his bicep in place with a gauze roll. And at the end both had to be cut out due to being so entangled in that wire.
I agree it was very disturbing lol
@@Bryanpeacock33 Yep even Paul Heyman himself said that match was one of the barbaric and disturbing he ever seen.
By the end of that match, they were so stuck together in place by barbed wire that the wrong guy ended up winning. I can’t remember who won that match but it wasn’t booked that way
There was also an element of awe with this match because it showed these two men were willing to literally tear themselves to shreds to give the audience what they wanted that night
Jake Robert's snake eating the Macho Man's arm was very terrifying
Papa Shango, doing his voodoo spells on The Ultimate Warrior was terrifying to me as a kid. Especially the black goo, randomly running down his head.
Same. I was very young when I remember seeing that on tv and it legit scared me.
@@Red_Ghost85 Papa Shango had The Ultimate Warrior Shook. Matter of fact it seem like bad things always happen to Warrior being cursed being locked in a casket and turned on by Jake The Snake and then getting legit fired by Vince McMahon for demanding more pay!
I was at Judgement Day ‘04. Watching Eddie Guerrero lose all that blood was pretty unsettling.
Macho Man getting bit is a moment I saw on TV as a kid!
There was also the time Earthquake squashed the bag containing* Damien! That was horrifying!
*(Wasn't really in the bag, of course. But someone's bound to point it out if I don't.)
The scariest moment for me would be the Undertaker locking he Ultimate Warrior in the casket. The whole thing still scares me 30 something years later....
That gave me such fears. I was afraid of something like that growing up. The fact they had casket all torn up when he woke
Agreed this should have made the list.
I was scrolling to see if anybody mentioned this. It was far more terrifying than a snake bite.
I remembered something too. Is after the angle. They did a casket match Between Taker and Warrior with the casket. You can tell its same one because its all torn up inside like the one used on funeral parlor. It was never aired on tv but WWE released it one of their Unreleased Matches collection a few years ago
Vic Grimes being thrown off the scaffold gets me.
The Danbury Fall was horrifying as well!
I was terrified by the return of Kishin Lyger and he tried to stab Minoru Suzuki with a metal spike. Freaked me out the first time he appeared and tried to kill Great Muta
I'm surprised "Choppy, Choppy" wasn't on this list. That still scares me!
Apparently Mae Young scolded Bubba Ray and D-Von for holding back whenever they put her through a table.
Love all your videos Simon. Keep up the great work!
Everyone always says Seven was going to be an abductor, but I took it more like a children of the corn situation
Hmmm I actually think that’s a good idea. Besides I mean if you’re a heel being either one of those things would be a good character
Simon got Seven completely wrong.
Dustin hated the gimmick.
Everybody at Turner loved the idea.
That’s why he dropped the gimmick the first time he came out.
The Boogeyman, back then he was a little intimidating but now he's just nasty 😅😆
Boogey never made me want to scream, he just made me want to puke.
How about Eddie Guerrero's botched blade job at Judgment Day 04? That made for some uncomfortable watching for sure
Great point. There was way too much blood and it just seemed to be pissing out of him. Not nice at all
I liked it
Wrestling is fake, that was not real blood lol. What a mark
@@kidneystonermusic how do you think they do the blood? Tool
@@rockys201 same way in horror movies? Unless you believe that too
Nothing tops Mankind & Undertaker's Hell in a Cell match for a Wrestling moment that still scares folks to this day.
This was my first thought. I remember watching that match live and legit thinking that Mick was dead when he went through the cage.
@@mjolner42 Jerry Lawler actually said that at that exact moment when Mick crashed right thru the roof of the cell down to the ring, "That's it, he's dead." Everyone watching live & at home was thinking the exact same thing.
How Outlaw Ron Bass carving Brutus Beefcake's with a spur doesn't make this list is beyond me. That was easily the most disturbing thing I saw in wrestling as a child
The Great Khali and Giant Gonzalez use to scare me all the time when I was a kid
The Lesnar and Orton incident was definitely an unexpected shock 😕
I love so much that old school is mixed in…makes me happy ❤
When Taker locked the Ultimate Warrior in the airtight casket. The way the casket was all torn up from the inside like Warrior was legitimately trying to claw his way out of the casket. That sh*t haunted me.
GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK SIMON!!!! 😁😁😁
Warrior throwing up made me laugh so hard as a kid. I was in tears.
Adults take shit too seriously, kids don't have a filter to misjudge any light shit as being dark
I was horrified as a kid with Damien biting Macho Man. Everything with Papa Shango terrified me aswell.
Seeing Jushin Thunder Liger transform into Kishin Liger can be pretty unnerving.
We need a retro ups and down
No Sting moments?! That dude exemplified Halloween...just like Taker and Kane.
Finally someone not trashing the business hosting whatculture wrestling
I don't care if you're gonna fine me, suspend me, or fire me, if you said 'let a snake bite you', I'd be saying No Fucking Thank You.
Ngl, some of the Firefly Fun House skits had me shook! 😂
Kinda hard to tell if the beating Lesnar gave Orton was real or scripted. It really looked like a legit beating.
Orton would havent taken that, if it wasn't planned.
Orton got the title shortly after as a reward for taking the beating.
It was part of a script that both concented to. Keep in mind that Randy and especially Brock are Oscar worthy actors and storytellers.
The savage cobra bite was terrifying as a kid. I was like did that just happen 😳
Welcome back Simon. I hope you’re doing well. Question do you know any wrestlers who have an October 30th birthday like me. I’m just curious because well reasons.
Ministry Of Darkness Undertaker Gave Me The Heebie Geebies In 1999 Lol
He and the ministry made me realise wrestling was fake, still can't stand undertaker now.
Unmasked Kane in 2003 is the most terrifying thing in WWE history!! He still makes me feel uneasy seeing his old material from that time. But still so good!
Anytime AJ Styles has done the Styles Clash and the opponent isn't putting his head back, then I internally or at times actually start yelling, "Don't tuck your head in! Don't tuck your head in! OH F*CK!! HE'S TUCKING HIS HEAD IN!!!"
(GASP!)
WHAM!
(Wince.)
Enter the medics with a stretcher.
Stevie Richards took a Styles Clash like that back in TNA and I still can't believe he can still walk.
the most terrifying thing in this video is the background music
I remember watching Randy Savage getting bit by a cobra as a kid. That was soul rending at the time.
i rememeber watching it live no tape delay when i was a young teen, it was insane!
Surprised no one remembers in Lucy’s underground Marty the moth taking a line out of Abdullah’s playbook and deciding to use a fork to carve someone’s head up.
how how HOW could you miss Shawn Michaels' collapse?
So I really shocked, but it was staged 😳😬🤯!! It was an attempt to garner sympathy for Michaels going forward as a babyface when he returned.
I always thought the original Doink persona was inspired by real life serial killer John Wayne Gacy.
I always had to change the channel during WWF Live Wire when they did the Mankind pre debut promos
The bald Brazzers talking about WWE halloween moments ok now I can die in peace.
me: nothing scares me but that
* Eva returns
me: not that scares me
I just watched that Warrior promo, and you weren't kidding... Jesus.
the Rock bashing mic Foley's head in with a chair 10 or 20 times frightened the s*** out of me I wish that made your list
I’ve always thought it was interesting that Jake Roberts actually had ophidiophobia.
Vader's eye popping out.
The Undertaker putting the Ultimate Warrior in the casket and him fighting to get out was HORROR!!!!!
Anytime Yokozuna connected with a Banzai Drop
Kane setting JR on fire
When Nikita Koloff & The Russians hanged Ricky Morton (R & R Express) with a chain was on the first NWA Wrestling tv show I ever saw. I was a kid & thought they might really kill him!
Mick Foley flying off the cell, also the rock bashing mankind over and over was bad.
Yes!!, more Simon
I remember the scariest thing I saw was Kane putting the chair around HBKs throat on Monday Night Raw after the hour long hell in a cell between Michaels and HHH at Bad Blood. I was like 12 and I for sure thought one of my favorite wrestlers was dead.
I will NEVER believe that Brock Lesnar intentionally giving Randy Orton a concussion to make him bleed was "all part of the plan." There are much safer ways to draw blood.
Macho man getting bit by the snake is not on this list I will be very upset because this is the first memory I have of watching pro wrestling with my brother and my father and getting addicted to professional wrestling over 32 years now
as a kid i lost my mind when macho got bit by the snake. Such a great moment.
Simon u are the man
You should rank your matches or maybe you already have send me link anyway ace video Mr Miller
If you could personify anabolics incarnate it would look, act, and sound exactly like Jim Hellwig - war paint, neon colors, tassles, spitting on everything while he breaths thru an O-Face, blathering violent nonsense, running around shaking things... all of it.
How could you leave the Mankind vs Undertaker hell in a cell match?
That one where the Mexican invader wouldn’t stop coughing up blood after a knee drop was broooootal
What?🤨
How was Vader's EYEBALL Literally popping out of his head during a match and him popping it Back In😳then Finishing the match Not Included? There's even pictures of it. Maybe even footage? 🤔 i never have tried to search it so i could see it happen for myself but then again i'm not entirely sure i Want to see that happen.
😄👍
The footage is on here somewhere. I only know because I searched for it once to show to a friend to prove I didn't imagine it.
Tribute to Halloween havoc.
Mick tossed off top of cage by Mark. Great bit but…..WOW!!
Where is the Berserker trying to stab the Undertaker with his sword at on this List? Or when Undertaker put the Ultimate Warrior in a casket and shut it tight at on this list? :)
Doink brah, making kids cry brah.
Seeing papa Shango cause black goo to come out of Warriors head terrified me as a child
Any Maurice Vachon promo. And they never needed a Halloween angle.
Doink brah, making kids cry brah!
When Shaemus gave Jamie noble a power bomb on the floor and Noble sold it like he was dying.
Originally it was supposed to be Lex Luger with Jake but he was injured to it was now with Randy! Earthquake sitting on Damien,Hawk falls off Raw sign,Ricky taking the ring bell to the throat from Savage.Rude's career ending match with Sting.
Brock lesnar throwing Zach Gowen down a flight of steps or the Boogie Man eating worms 🪱
When the Undertaker locked the Ultimate Warrior in the casket in the funeral home.
Dustin Rhodes HATED the seven gimmick and NEVER wanted to do it. Check your facts before condemning a good man.
"Still Scare Adults". Lol. Ok
Sid. Leg break. Enough said.
I watched the Jake the Snake Roberts vs Macho Man match with the snake at that time as a kid. They did roll a text saying that the snake wasn't actually poisonous which likely was a recommendation of the channel broadcasting it where I lived. And while I can totally understand why they did that I have to say that it took out a lot of the immersion as then it was like Jake is having this snake that he got rid of the poison from and got that to bite Macho man so he is being poisoned and it all doesn't make sense.
No snakes are poisonous. They're venomous.
3:17 New Jacks "OJ" promo at this time is all you need to see to fully understand this one. Especially when you keep in mind this was right after the trial IIRC.
"Keep up the good work. 2 less we have to worry about." 😮
Look up the Kevin Sullivan kanemura spike story from smw now that's some scary stuff
Any time Abdullah the Butcher came to the territory.
I think I was 11 years old when Kane unmasked for the first time. I had nightmares for a week!!!
Scary
Kane tombstoning Linda till this day gives me the creeps.
I think that Dustin Rhodes actually hated the seven gimmick that someone at wcw gave him after goldust iirc
He HATED it with a passion and never wanted to do it.
@@BeardDaddyGrimm hence why I said it wasn't his idea, unlike what the video claimed.
Couldn’t finish the video. The shadow was brutally distracting 🤦♂️
That and the music....
Wasn’t Rhodes against the gimmick from the beginning? Didn’t he have a whole spiel life on tv about it?
Welcome back Simon ❤
