Damn! This is such a helpful video. I'm doing this year's edition of Basajaun and I'm only getting more excited after watching. I'm curious, what's the weather like throughout the course on both Day and night? From your account, it seems the desert is going to be brutal to tackle.
Hey ! Thanks for taking your time to watch the video! I'm glad you enjoyed! During the day it's HOT! It can get up to 40.c! At night temperatures drop and I suggest you take a warm jacket if you ride thru the night. Leg warmers help too!! The Desert will be extremely hot and with almost no shelter (beware!). When I went past the desert, there was someone being picked up by a Heli as they had bad sun stroke. Good Luck!
