Christians need to stop treating the name of Jesus like a magic word, because it's not. When people say "in Jesus' name" they should mean they acknowledge the fact they are under the authority of Jesus Christ and that it is Him working though them. Demons are not afraid of the name "Jesus". They are afraid of the power of God and Jesus Himself. Some demons do not move unless you fast and pray. Demons are given legal rights to you if you actively and consciously participate in sin.
Also, there is no "prayer of salvation". Salvation is a matter of the heart, and there are no magic words that can change it. Read your Bibles.

I was 31 years old this was 5 years ago. I had been dealing with a terrible illness for the past 11 years. This illness should have killed me in the first year or two but it didn't. I lived with it in pain and suffering not being able to live a normal life. I ended up getting surgery and a good doctor and I'm healed now. Anyways I had picked up a drug habit and was in jail for 7 months for stealing to buy fentynl. I could feel the illness getting worse almost ready to kill me. That night I prayed in my cell and I gave up and accepted God was the only one who could save me at that point and if I died then I died. I ended up having a dream where I saw Jesus in my dream, but it wasn't a normal dream. I wasn't like, "oh there's jesus!" No, in the dream he knew exactly who I was and I knew exactly who he was like he was my dad almost. I could see him but I couldn't really see him. He was glowing and bright like the sun. I knew he was smiling at me but I couldn't see any wrinkles on his face because he was so bright. He was wearing a white robe. I knew that if I could get closer to him then everything would be ok. I slowly started gravitating to him and I tried to grab his robe and he reached out and touched me. That was the end of the dream and I woke up in my cell feeling very calm and peaceful and I thought maybe he healed me, but I was sure it was just a cool dream and that was it. Immediately the next morning my usual feeling like garbage was gone and I was using the toilet which never happened. And I couldn't stop thinking about the dream. For the next day or so I kept feeling better then I turned on Christian radio and I heard a preacher. I think it was Beth Moore. She said I'm praying for someone this morning and I need you to know that you are healed. God needs me to tell you your healed. She was actually more specific but I don't remember exactly what she said. Anyways that was 5 years ago and I've been healed ever since. I even started living for the world again and I was so scared because I thought God might take the healing back but he never has. It's the love of God that's now made me hate sin and want to be obedient because I see how much he personally loves me. So the surgery I'm talking about is spiritual and the doctor was Jesus.

@@timothyconley3933 If you did mean that you are living for the world again , I would suggest going to a church where they worship in Spirit and truth and not just legalism . Read the word starting in the new testament. Ask Jesus to forgive you and to let him reveal how much he loves you . Repent by turning from your worldly lifestyle and have your mind renewed by the word of God . If you have slip ups just keep getting back up and go to Jesus for forgiveness instead of running from him . New Christian's fall but you've got to get back up. You have to be descipled . I can't stress this enough . The Lord caused us to need each other . Ask the Lord for a spiritual father or a group of men that will hold you accountable. We can't hold ourselves accountable because the flesh is too strong when we're new believers. It is very important that you get into a balanced church that believes in spiritual gifts and a strong biblical foundation .
@@soulerflare7 Hey thanks for the advice. It's good advice, but no I am not living for the world anymore. I am totally against sin and want nothing to do with it. My main focus right now is spreading the love of Jesus Christ throughout my community via across the world.
I’m a Respiratory Therapist in Houston, Texas. I’ve prayed for a lot of people in several hospitals. Recently, I prayed for a lady with severe anxiety and respiratory distress. She was immobile and laying on her right side. Her eyes were looking everywhere. Super anxious. I said well can I pray for you. She says yes. There was another lady at the bedside standing there and against my better judgment I decided to be bold and pray anyway. I always worry somebody will become offended and tell on me and I’ll get fired. This other lady was maybe in her early 50’s, but she had pinkish hair and I noticed some weird tattoos on her. She didn’t say too much. So I began to pray for the anxious lady in the bed. I said something along these lines...Lord Jesus...I thank you that you are in total control of every situation. I thank you that you have given me this opportunity to pray with this little lady. She is sacred and in distress. Father I pray that you will comfort and give her peace. Places angles at her bedside and give her rest. Then I said...if there is anything causing this anxiety and fear in her life I command it to leave in the Mighty Name of Jesus. At that very moment the lady that was standing there to my left (I was kneeling) started to cough violently. I mean very violent and then she started to gag and choke. I kinda snapped to what was happening and said...if there is any devil or demon I command you to leave this room in the name of Jesus Christ. I honestly was in shock, but kept praying. Her choking/gagging got so intense and loud that I almost considered stopping the prayer but I just kept it going. I finally asked are you ok?? She kept coughing. Then I continued to pray. I could tell she had a patent airway so I wasn’t worried she was gonna die or anything, but I gotta say it was freaky! It made me search this video just now because it’s still in my mind. I think this was my first real demonic encounter.
Yep, gagging can be the sound of a demon leaving and it was no doubt your prayer that made the demon panic. I wonder did the lady’s coughing and gagging stop?

This is a POWERFUL Testimony. You should be speaking about it everywhere you go. You have the power to change hearts and minds with that Testimony. The Lord Jesus is REAL and the enemy is real also and should not be taken for granted. Your Testimony proves that we NEED to know the Gospel of the Lord for Salvation and Protection for the 😈 evil one. Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. God and myself had an agreement that I couldn’t do any spiritual stuff at work but one day I had an hour free and I’d only just gone out the back for a break..I was a hairdresser by the way and the salon was really busy and I had an angel of the Lord pop in and say to me Melissa I know you don’t do this at work but this is an emergency there’s a woman coming down the street and she has a witchcraft demon I’m going to bring her in here to you! I said I can’t do that here I’m at work! But I was called for duty and had to do it so I said fine. So in walks this angry woman wanting a perm and the angel says that’s her! So I go to the desk like normal bubbly hairdresser and got her to come through washed her hair etc and got her seated for her hair to be done. I had a colleague with me handing me perm papers and rollers and I told no one what I was ordered to do..so I started praying in my head pushing it out trying to be discreet then it manifests she changed form and it spoke to me loud and deep with an evil voice ‘what are you doing to me!? Who are you!?’ So I say ‘I’m just doing your hair’ knowing full well I was speaking to the demon by this time all focus in the salon was on me.. so I say to the demon ‘Who are you and what rights do you think you have with this woman?’ And it says ‘she’s a witch she’s mine’ so I say ‘ well God has bought her in here to me to be set free from you’ and it says ‘what authority do you have!?’ So I said ‘I’m a Christian God wants this woman back it’s non negotiable you know the drill’ and it says in a worried voice ‘what are you going to do to me?’ I said nothing That’s up to God so make it easy on yourself and get out of her in Jesus name!’ (Horrified people watching on)..so she collapses in her chair and stays passed out for 10 minutes I order no one to touch her in this process! When she came to she says in a totally happy high pitched voice ‘ I feel great! What did you just happened?!’ I said ‘just got rid of a parasite from you’ so I informed her what happened why it was there and that she had to stop and trust in a God instead. Long story short everybody in that salon was saved that day approximately 20 people. They all had no doubt God was real then I educated them. They certainly had their proof! My poor coworker was in tears and my boss was now I know you’re not just a hairdresser that being in Gods army was my real job. But it’s very similar with every demonic possession I’ve encountered. Demons are nasty nasty! I also rebuked it for being a fallen angel and betraying God. They just are so hateful and angry that they God themselves into this predicament in their spiritual lives. I love having this gift God totally has my back I know I can do anything if he assigns me to do something. God bless.

Yesterday after I did mushrooms with my bf. We laid in bed together and it was dark in the room. My bf looked at me and there it was instead of his Face I saw a demon looking at me and smiling, i started crying and my bf asked me what happened, I told him that I am scared of him and asked him to turn on the light. I saw my bf worried face glad it was him. My bf though was shocked when I told him what I saw and started crying.
I think though it was probably caused by the mushrooms, I had a smiliar experience years ago when I took something. I didnt really worried
My bf on the other hand (being a Therapist and knowing about mental illnesses) thinks that smth is wrong w me.

Yes, what you saw was a demon. Demons can enter through various "doors" that we open to them. You have mentioned two of those entryways in your comment: drugs and fornication. (Others can be ouija boards, tarot, witchcraft, rebellion, trauma, unforgiveness, abuse, etc). The demon was smiling because its mission is to "steal, kill, and destroy" (Joh. 10:10) and he knows he has you and your BF ensnared. But the good news is that Jesus can set you two FREE from those demons if you so choose. We are separated from God by our sins, but Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection from the dead paid the penalty for our sins and broke the power of Satan and of death, and reconciled us with God. If you will sincerely repent of your sins, be baptized and follow him, He will put His spirit in you and give you eternal life. And, your enemy, the devil, will no longer have a legal right to you and will have to leave. (I highly recommend getting some deliverance ministry done as well, as demons often don't want to go until ordered to do so, but if you are a Christian, any demons MUST leave when commanded.)

Dear sister, I am intrigued by one thing you said. When you referred to God and you coming to an agreement that you should not do any spiritual stuff at work. I ask because I always seek discernment and part of that is asking people about their interactions with our Heavenly Father. Would you mind explaining hoq our Heavenly Father and you came to such agreement. What was the process?

I was demon possessed almost two decades ago, and will be eternally grateful to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, for saving me not only from my sin, but from the grips of Satan. While that experience was devastatingly traumatic, even I can laugh with Pastor Hagee as retells this story. I'm sure he was terrified. Thankfully, for everyone involved, the Lord is his strength and his shield.

I know you are asking the lady but from the video it was clear the demon was so very real. There are people who are 100% sure on what they say because what they experience is not of their normal experience and so very sudden and supernatural. It appears this lady was healed so she is sure about her experience because Lord Jesus can make such a sudden difference.
You could ask the lady...if it was her ego, mental illness or something of her own head (imagination) but I think it is clear she would say it was a demon for sure. I have read enough and seen enough to be sure that Jesus can stand against darkness very easily. There are stories by friends I know and even comments on here where people stand on Jesus and demons are manifested. (Kathryn Krick I think preaches they are exposed by God/Jesus they cannot hide any more.)

@@thezombiekiller54540 I was sound asleep after a visit from a neighbor who called herself a "spirit guide". I felt the demon enter my body, and was demon possessed for approximately 8 hours. I wrote a book about my experience in 2021. It was edited several times(seminary & deliverance ministry) before I published it, not wanting to cause harm. Satan is real, but much more importantly so is Jesus!
Because of this experience, I have been a born again believer since 2006 . Only God could do that. For that, I will be forever grateful.

This is the way Pastor Hagee preaches. He uses humor to illustrate. He is not laughing at the lady. This is important teaching. We need more of it.

Her issue is she was "playing" cards.....one should never dabble. I am a preacher's daughter. I make an effort to learn what others believe... If you dont know what others believe one as a Christian can not help them or witness to them. Demons are real and nothing to play with

I don’t think he was laughing about the girl being possessed, but it seems like he’s laughing at himself as this was his introduction to demonic forces and he had no clue what to do even with so much education. I’m glad he was successful in the end.

He was laughing at the stupidity of the way he was taught that demons live in other countries and not his. You think about it and I sure he was surprised that he believed such a thing before. I know stuff now that I use to Not know. He would of not told the story so likely if she wasn't delivered from the spirits. When he also told of the man who was going to shoot him and went and hang himself he was not calm about that because that is no laughing matter. He was laughing to me at the stupid things people believe.

People quit being so sensitive. He’s not laughing at her, he’s laughing at how naive he was to demonic possession. But Im glad he encountered this, because unfortunately a lot of ministers of the gospel do not know how to wage spiritual warfare. And that’s part of the reason why the church is hurting.

I'm not a religious person but I enjoyed this story told by an excellent orator and I appreciate his belief and the work he does. I'll bet he is a fantastic pastor and has a great following.
My wife and I were missionaries to the Northern Cheyenne in southeastern Montana we lived on tha REZ. We had no idea that these demonic entities existed much less how they could attack you spiritually mentally and physically..our children were attacked nightly...but thanks be to God through the Lord Jesus Christ we also bore witness to the mighty power of the name of Christ Jesus and His precious blood...it greatly increased iur faith and has allowed us to help others in these situations

I encountered possession in my husband many years ago, when he had joined a New Age cult and was summoning 'spirit guides', bringing those foul things into our home. One night both my unbelieving sister and my unbelieving mother phoned me within 5 minutes of each other, asking if I could get myself (and unborn child) and 3 sons out of the house! I was sitting, stunned over these calls at 11 pm, when my husband came into the room. After an upsetting exchange, I said that I would pray for him. His face changed as I watched and in a rage that had nothing to do with the man he was, he erupted in anger and a gutteral voice that was not his roared at me, demanding that I NEVER do that. He came across the room with his hands lifted toward my neck and I was backed in terror, into a wall. From beside me, came a voice that calmly said "stand perfectly still and I'll protect you". My husband was stopped before he got to me and I watched as reality slowly re-entered his eyes. First I saw confusion, then awareness and finally complete terror as he saw me and realized that for the first time, his "guide" had possessed him and had he not been stopped he would have strangled me. I first wanted to run out of the house with my children but then realized, calmly that I had the blood of the lamb and protection of my Lord and I went to bed praying. I heard the supernatural clashing of warrior angels fighting the filthy beings for whom my husband had opened our home. At 4 a.m. it suddenly went quiet and I felt complete peace, knowing that the angels of God had won a victory. I then had a vision, seeing a black background with words of flaming letters that read "your marriage is over. Your children are in danger. For the sake of your children you must leave". I had been praying for the saving of my marriage and salvation of my husband even then when he was having his 3rd affair within that cult, Eckankar. Next day I doubted all day what had happened and finally asked God to please provide a sure sign that it was He asking me to leave a man I still loved and I asked it in Jesus' name. As I shredded lettuce for dinner, with fingers swollen from pregnancy and the hot weather, my wedding band floated off of my finger and through the air, onto the counter in the kitchen. Is what Pastor Hagee shared real? I can testify as to the reality of demon possession.

I find it nice that several years after casting a demon out of someone that Brother John Hagee can find humor in such a serious situation that he went through at the time. He's NOT laughing at the lady, and he's NOT laughing at the demon, but it seems that some people just don't get that.
Demonic possession is not a funny thing. That's true but we can laugh because we have dominion. They are not laughing at the lady in question, but at the fact that he used to be ignorant till he met one. I see no need to malign anyone for laughing. The main thing is that the oppressed was set free. If she was watching, she'd probably be laughing too.

You’re not wrong. In the west people laugh because they’re uncomfortable or because something is ironic. Hagee was highlighting how unprepared he was. They’re laughing because of fear, but also because they haven’t dealt w some demons they carrying on thei backs. A demoniac laughs at the Christian as a way to distract the Christian from the power of God. I also find it odd that they’re laughing... serious problems there... bad teaching invites demonic influence.
2Kings2... Elisha and the 2 bears... the young men were slain and I believe they were possessed because of the amount of wickedness in that country at the time. Jesus was the first to be able to cast out demons. In the name of Jesus, with authority and boldness granted by the fullness of the Holy Spirit, Christians will cast out demons again.
This world is getting sicker and more perverse. But God will always have a people.

"43 'When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.'” (Matthew 12:34-35) You don't throw the demon out, without asking Jesus to come in.

I had to repent personally..for starting to laugh. And I have had a personal experience with demonic forces. I know how horrific they are. We must take every thought captive before the Lord. Jesus Christ never laughed at a poor soul who was oppressed...or bound by demons.

They laugh because they know that in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, every demonic oppression is powerless! Would you rather fear or laugh?? I have seen Other prophets and Apostle’s laugh. It not that this is funny but he was so unprepared with all the seminary teaching, he met the real world. It shows the Holy Spirit is only real person to teach us how to pray. He was not laughing when he spoke of her deliverance. He did let the lord use him to cast it out. He was being real on the situation. Let’s thank God he went. Obviously with all the experience looking back he was really shocked at the whole ordeal but did not shy away from her deliverance
I remember he told a story of a lady who phoned for prayer , she was very sick .Her house was full of dragon statues .He told her to get rid of the cursed things as that's what's making her sick .She refused he left without praying for her .
She ended up destroying them and got healed

Same thing happened to me as an unsaved teenager. I went to the local church for help because I felt two spirits enter my body one night . The pastor told me I was just imagining it - so i just left with my tail between my legs. I got saved many years later though. Demons are real!

For those who can't understand why they're laughing, it's because he said in the beginning that he was young and thought he knew it all. Then when he was confronted with a demon saying it hated him, he realized he wasn't so smart after all. That is what they were laughing about. Self deprecation is always funny.

He successfully performed a deliverance and saved the lady yet many posters are beating him up something fierce. There are three things the demonic can't stand, love, laughter and light. He did nothing wrong in the retelling of this event. He more than likely deals with emotions through humour. Father Amorth who had performed hundreds upon hundreds of exorcisms in Italy had laughed while discussing his work and I know of no other person in recent history who took his work more seriously. Ease up everyone, don't be so harsh in the judgement of others.

My guess is that John Hagee and James Robison lived a different life, from a lot of us, who listened to the video. To them it was a good story to tell and add humor to. The end result is what is important. If Hagee wasn't a true man of God, he would not have been able to expel the demon.

I would have crapped myself. my brother told me once that when he and his girlfriend were at home alone in the bedroom they heard a loud ruckus out in the kitchen. they went to look and found all the drawers and doors open. well, I would have run away right away. I don't mess with no demons. If I had still been living with them at the time, I would have moved out.

Omg. Ppl so scared to jump at anything. They are not laughing about demon possession. They were laughing about his experience about his first encounter of a demonic deliverance. They are more or less laughing at his inexperience and fear of the situation. It is funny because Jesus Christ has given us authority in such situations and to imagine such a great man of God was once besides himself in such a situation. It's like a cat being chased by a mouse.

This is NOT a laughing matter. At all. I had a close friend who went through this...and I had to stay away from her until the pastors prayed for her. But trust me the pastors who prayed over her had to prepare for seeing her. They prayed and fasted for days to be filled with a power of the Holy Spirit, and she was delivered by the blood of Jesus Christ. So no...this is not a laughing matter. Lord, please forgive our inequities and our actions for we are weak, and we sure need your strength and love. Oh Lord, please forgive us.
It’s not funny. I did the same thing and got turned down and smirked at by many people in local churches when I told them I felt like something was wrong and that my wife said my eyes had turned completely black after I returned from a new age conference that someone had gifted me. It was the scariest time of my life. I finally found someone to pray for me just in desperation that was walking by. Prob an Angel or a man heaven sent.
I writhed and coughed and felt like I was contorting and crying and screaming or growling. But they came off and and out. It was a process for sure but this stuff is real. We aren’t alone and Jesus gave us disciples power over all of them Luke 10:19.
I pray now for all who read this and are weary and hopeless and may feel like no one believes them or understands. You are loved and not alone and God sees your tears and knows your heart and has not left us comfortless. The Holy Spirit has been sent to those who have died to their former selves and been born again.
Repent in heartfelt weeping and take action severing yourself from open rebellious sin. Renounce your allegiance and willful complicit joining with the devil and all his unclean lies and works. Believe Trust CRY Out to Jesus and you will be saved.

I have been chained to demons since I was 12. I felt something come in and sit down with me. I saw my first demon at the age of 4. I’m 50 now. Still chained. Still hear them but God helped me in my 30’s. He unplugged most of them. But I fell back into sin and started hearing them more again.
You may go to Kathryn Krick in California or even request to do a video chat with her. People have a sinful nature but He can be with us changing who we are. The Kingdom of God is near or present. A lot of people who admit their sins before God with Kathryn end up being blessed by Him with spirits cast out. There is a better way of living life with Him and spirits hate this. Amusing story, but demons are no joke. They are evil, strong, and can oppress (not possess) a Christian to the point of ruining their life. They will bow to nothing but the name of Jesus, and will not leave a person unless whoever is doing the deliverance is strong in the Lord, has no hidden sin in their life and can use the name of Jesus with authority.

This is the first type of ministry show I've stopped and actually listening to and I appreciate the levity that you added in telling this story I don't find it mocking at all it makes it relatable I appreciate the fact that all you need is the name Jesus to rebuke demon Spirits. It doesn't require a show or a whole team of people with an orchestra playing in the background . I've seen a few shows with people that do professional exorcism then I always think to myself what is this because the Lord said that these signs will follow the Believers and as he list those signs he did not give additional instructions that would indicate it would cross some props to complete the exercise ,ie; retakes nor director saying action and cut.
He's a great storyteller. Have read some of his books but am glad I can watch him in person.
