Being pregnant is hard. Carrying 1 baby is hard and you're carrying 2. Just think of it this way, every day you get through, you are one day closer to holding those beautiful babies and you are putting that one day behind you that you don't have to feel miserable or not yourself. This is all for the babies and you'll get yourself back when they are born and it will all be worth it. I know it is SOOO hard but hang tight Momma, you can do this ❤

Definitely have felt like a shell of a person. When I've been very depressed, I've dissociated so bad. It felt like all the things that made me, me, were gone, and I was just a husk of what I once was. It makes sense, how easily that can happen with depression. We tend to associate who we are with the things we enjoy. What our favorite color is, favorite music, movie genre, activity, etc, etc. But when nothing gives you happiness, a huge chunk of your identity get taken away. What's helped me before is going out of my way to do the things I usually enjoy. Even if leaving the house or getting off the couch seems impossible, I get support from family and try and do the things I like to do, and try to focus on the fun parts. Or trying something new that I might enjoy or have always wanted to do. It is definitely not a cure-all but it's helped me. Also, just remembering that I am strong, and I am a survivor. Recognizing what you're going though is tough and validating the anguish and giving yourself a break when things don't go as you wanted. I have to sit myself down and tell myself that even if I am not coughing or sneezing I AM SICK, so I need to go easy, take care of myself, and lower my expectations and the pressure I put on myself. I don't know if this helps, but please remember you are beautiful, worth it, and loved. You are strong enough, and it is more than okay to ask for help whenever you need it. It is not a weakness to ask for help, it is a strength, because it can be hard to do. Love you dearly.
