KARLSTEJN - Czech castle and fortress.
The Czech castle and fortress KARLSTEJN is about 30km from Prague. This is a beautiful, solid castle and has a particularly important place in the history of Czech and Europe. The second most visited castle in the Czech Republic.
The castle was built by the Czech king cum Roman Emperor in 1348.
For nearly 200 years this is the place to keep treasures, relics and coronation crowns of Czech kings and Roman emperors.
